If you use Verizon you need a device sold in the USA.
On xpericheck.com you see which device has an USA firmware.

H8296 (6GB DUALSIM)
Best hw choice.
Any version can be reflashed to US fw.

Check at xpericheck.com if the dual SIM has a us firmware (for verizon)
If you are a Verizon customer, things getting complicated.
But maybe some config files can get modified to fix the missing mobile network.
Custom ROMs will work of course.

Hi, thanks for your answers, I already have the H8296 in my hands and it works perfectly in the Cricket network, I am not in the Verizon network, the phone works perfectly, LTE + coverage even in distant places in the city, the only thing I have noticed is that I do not have the option of calls over WiFi, I will have to change the firmware to a version of the USA to activate calls over WiFi ?, I see that the H8266 has a firmware for USA, I can install it to the H8296 without problems? Thank you and waiting for your answers. I have firmware 52.0.A.3.84

Android 6.0 Galaxy S6 SM-G920T

hey!
I bought a Samsung Galaxy S6 SM.G920T on Best Buy a couple of months ago and i have it with an argentinian SIM.
i want to update the Software to 6.0 and i saw in Sammobile a 6.0 version. Here comes the problem, my firmare (G920TUEU3COK1) is from "cellular south" carrier and this version ( G920TUVU3EPD1) is from "USA/T-Mobile". I want to know if i install that firmware i can still use my argentinian sim? or i only can use the "cellular south" version?
My english is not perfect sorry
Thank you
Yes. Mine is from cellular south as well. You can flash it with t-mobile mm. and then flash this modem dropbox.com/s/fpkeyps54bzy2l6/modem.bin?dl=0 you should be able to use any carrier
here is the guide reddit.com/r/GalaxyS6/comments/4eazdg/nont_mobile_smg920t_need_some_insight/ follow this and you should be fine. good luck

Here is a models reference list for Note 8 incl. cell bands:
https://www.techwalls.com/samsung-galaxy-note-8-sm-n950-model-number-differences/
knowing that, you can look-up the proper firmware in SamMobile.
N950F and N950FD are the same! The D only stands for dual SIM but both are using the same firmware.
Don't be afraid to hit the "Thanks" button if someone helped you. It don't hurts

I see differences between these two versions in regard to LTE bands, ver. F has 10 bands vs. 16 in FD. The 'F' is exclusive to EU, FD is EU and beyond.

That is correct! However I wouldn't recommend installing the stock OS from the N950F onto the N950FD. As the modem software maybe different as the FD model has dual SIM capabilities.

And which firmware you want to install instead? There is only one version available for F and FD!
I also have the FD variant device and flashed the F firmware (also only bootloader and modem) more then 1 time!

They're the same firmware actually in this case, so no worries there. For example, on Sammobile there is no N950FD firmware, only N950F firmware which works for both models.
Thank you for clarification, very interesting. So, the script addresses the differences on its own. Am trying to add Android to the list of my after_hours hobbies. I have a lot to learn. I was wondering about adding Band66 from N950FZKDBTU to F/DS version. T-Mobile has that here in the US, and I thought that maybe I could flash the radio partitions from the UK version so, no, it has to be done by nv edit. I'd think.

Wifi Calling

Hello, I have an issue with Wifi calling.. I own an XZ2 H8216. I need the feature Wifi calling that is supported by my provider (Cosmote, Greece) but I can't find it in the calling options. Searching around I found out that my specific model H8216 is not directly compatible with this service as the provider has only available the dual sim xz2. Therefore no Cosmote firmware is available for my device, I only find for the H8266 variation in xperifirm.
I generally have good computer knowledge but I have never done anything advanced in smartphones. Does anyone have any idea if something is possible?
My current version is 52.0.A.3.126
Edit: Customization version: 1313-2377_R4B

Can i flash the sm-g977b firmware onto the sm-g977n device?

Hey 5G Pioneers,
I am wondering can I flash the sm-g 977b firmware onto the sm-g 977n device through the Odin? Did someone make it?
Since these two models are all using the same Exynos 9820 chips
And from my previous experience of using my galaxy s8, Samsung actually enabled me to flash the firmware in different regions only if the devices were using the same chip version.
I am currently in Australia. The Korean version of 977N is much cheaper, and it seems that is the only network unlock version that I could buy from the market.
Not sure where are you in Australia but I bought mine from a Telstra Sales Rep (based in CBD, Melbourne) where he got a discount code and gave its to me for AUD 1400 for the 512 GB Majestic Black Version, unlocked , I'm using Optus, VoLTE, VoWIFI works fine on it.

Hi everybody,
On Sammobile website, I found 4 firmware Korean variants. I tried getting more information on the "KOO" variant to see if its a stock Samsung firmware without Carrier Apps/Bloatware without luck. I couldn't get any detailed information whether it can be flashed over any other Korean variant. Can anyone here clarify if its possible and If yes provide further details?
Attached a snapshot.
Many thanks

That is the non bloatware Korean version but it doesn't allow me to flash it. I suspect you have to flash it with the userdata file also.
Thanks for the information,

Hi,
I have successfully flashed the "KOO" variant once with and a second time without "userdata", however that did NOT remove any of the Bloatware/Carrier Apps.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Hi,
I did disable the apps which is great, but there menu operator items as well!
Edit : Forgot to mention that the boot logo is of the operator as well.
I was researching something about using the PIT file along with the firmware but can't find the specific PIT file for S10 5g.
Use Odin or the modified version to flash combination firmware. Then flash your desired firmware.
This is the only way I am aware to remove all carrier bloatware and boot logos.

I am particularly interested in this as the 977N variant seems to be dual sim. I notice it also has additional bands to the 977B varient and I would like to put the telstra firmware to ensure operation of VoLTE VoWiFi RCS etc.
The main purpose is to use at home and overseas. So more bands and access to features (VoLTE, VoWiFI, RCS etc. on my telstra SIM and local overseas SIM) when overseas are the goal.
Unless someone can confirm that the 977N with vanilla firmware will support all the telstra features?
Thank you for your assistance
