Hi all,
Can anyone help with a problem after flashing to 4.4.2?
I've got an i9295 that was provided by T-Mobile in the UK. I flashed my phone with I9295XXUCNE4_I9295NEECNE4_I9295XXUCNE4_HOME.tar.md5 which is designed for the 'Nordic countries' but I was assured works with UK phones, "all i9295" devices. Everything went swimmingly until the phone booted up. Everything is working and the flashing went as expected (I've done it LOADS with my old Galaxy S2). However, I can't turn on the WiFi. It doesn't even light up the icon.
How can I diagnose the issue? Or can anyone provide a ROM that might work better with my phone? Heck, I'd even settle for the stock ROM so at least I can use the WiFi.
Thanks for any help you can provide! I'm familiar with flashing ROMs so I'm not a noob.
Cheers,
Richard.

In the end I had to find a stock firmware to put the phone back to 4.2.2 and it's all working again, although it's not Kit Kat anymore, of course. There is a really good list of stock firmwares here: http://www.mrcrab.net/androidfirmware/GT-I9295/Samsung-Galaxy-S4-Active-GT--I9295.html
I guess I'll have to wait for Kit Kat...
Hello everyone,
I have question about 4.4.2. This night I went to settings to check if there is os update available and after half year maybe i can update again but now to 4.4.2 KitKat.
Can you tell me if it's good idea to update to 4.4.2. because i've seen some people are writing online about 4.4.2 issues...? Does this mean for all devices or?
I did not use any custom rom-s, and didn't do any os modifications, even i didn't "root" it.
Currently it is using 4.3. android and everything works well, but as you may think i'm pretty curios about 4.4.2 and i don't belive i can ignore that but i just want to know about some problems if any..
I repeat, it is offical update, not custom.
Thanks in advance
Perica
OMG. I've done update last night and i have these issues now:
- overheating of device (back, bottom) - with time it is heating less as i can see..
- 3g is disconnecting every half second
I'm now trying to fix these issues but as i can see i will now need to use custom rom
:crying:
Just to confirm that there is no overheating anymore. And 3g is now working because of some other not important reasons.. it was nothing to upgrade. I didn't do anything and now everything is fine. Overheating was because of inital initialization only i'm thinking. Anyway, even i didn't test it fully i didn't had any other problems and i can confirm that upgrade is fine.
Hello, i want to know if anyone can help me, im trying to do a own rom with the new MM Stock build, it boots and all but wifi dont works, like i dont have any mac addres and it cant turn on or detect any wifi, if someone can help me will be awesome. I think the problem its in the "updater-script" or update-binary" i picked those files from a rom that i make for LP, and i think thats why wifi its not working.
Hi, I have a droid turbo that is driving me crazy, when the phone took the update to marshamallow, after a couple of weeks the wifi and signal had lost, sometimes when I restarted it or doing factory reset the networks worked, but always going to the same situation. I reflashed the stock 6.0.1 with rsd lite, it worked, but for a couple of days so I thought it was the motherboard, then I bought another one ($40 dollars) from a cracked screen turbo. That motherboard had 5.1.1 so it worked fine for a couple of days until the OTA came again and installed, it worked fine but a few days later the phone showed the same problems. I dont know what to do, I cant downgrade because the locked bootloader ( and sunshine is to expensive for me $25 dollars is to much in Mexico) and is the second motherboard !!! what is happening??? Please help me
U should have sunshined your device and installed a custom Rom/ modified stock with new kernel, because now being unrooted with a half-bricked device means there is pretty much nothing that can be done to fix that software issue

but why this error is just happening to me? I dont find another users with 6.0.1 having the same issue, I repeat, I have 2 motherboards with the same problems that's to weird :/
I dont know man. Idk what you did or did not.
Stupid me installed EVA-C900B166 on my P9 and now my Android Pay doesn't work. I don't remember what the prior version was but I tried to install the UK/EU P9 rom with the hope that this would fix the issue. But no luck. Is the feature now broken and I'll never be able to repair? I was hoping to flash a stock rom from the Huawei site. I dropped the file into the dload folder went through the various update steps which looked like it was all was fine but when the phone restarted is still had version B166.
Love my phone but getting fed-up waiting on the never arriving update
Any tips on reverting or even just making Android Pay work would be much appreciated.
Mickey
Does NCF work ? Try installing an EVAL-L09 Rom via twrp.
