Phone stuff:
Android 7.1.1
Samsung 8.5
Bootloader u3
Kernel 4.4.21
So from time to time my phone will crash and I have to put it in download mode to get it to recycle, I get an error page saying something along the lines of a fatal modem error occurred with the following stuff
Task: mmoc
File: mmoc.c
Time: 3477
-MMOC= MMOC sanity expired trans_state 33
Err_code 3468
Last_ns 0xd6
Has anyone else encountered this or have any idea how to rectify this problem?

Hey guys!
I just wanted to download the kitkat update 4.4.4 via the update center, but it gave me an error back.
The download seems to start, but stucks for 3 seconds at 0% and stops with the error message "download not possible".
Does anybody know whats the problem here? Is somewhere a logfile to see what exactly the problem is?
Edit: I've found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2948116 but it doesn't seems helpful, because this is the log from the last update which was successful.
Thank you for your help!
According to logcat it might be error 504, gateway timeout.
-So is it a Sony server problem?
Seems to be a server issue, now it worked without any problem.
Hello,
I have an error every time I switch back to the Launcher.
05-17 02:20:46.983 E/QCOM PowerHAL(957): Failed to acquire lock.
Icons from Apps didn't load correct.
My device is rooted and unlocked. But the same issue I have with stock Lollipop and locked Bootloader.with Android KitKat I have no issues.
I think this is an memory issue.
Can anyone tell me what the log tell me?
Beat regards

Hi there,
Anyone using Samsung pay and received the 3.6.23 version? Once upgraded, when I run it, it tries to download an update which is 23 MB in size and I only get an error saying that the update couldn't be donwloaded. How to fix it?
I'm running that version of the app, no issues and nothing outstanding to download.
I received the OTA notification this afteroon for Aug. update for my AT&T Note 9. Everything was fine and normal until 'after reboot'. It looked like everything was fine, and the 'after reboot stuff' seemed to be nearly finished but an "Install Interrupted: the software could not be installed" message displayed in the place of the "success" message.
In all my years of OTAs, I think this may be my first failure. What is happening here?
(EDIT) I just manually checked and found the update, downloaded/installed/rebooted/errored again; same message.
Potentially Helpful info: I'm currently on the July 1 ETG1 - I ODIN'd the Xfinity ETG1 from Sammobile.
Any tips or advice are welcomed and appreciated. Hoping to avoid ODIN.

I did the same as you and the OTA worked. I can't remember where I found the files I used but it wasn't from sammobile if that could make any difference. I know the size of the file and time it took to install seemed really long for a small file.
I've finally made time to backup - Factory Reset - restore, and then I tried up OTA the Aug AT&T update. I got the same Install Interruption error message from the OP...
I've tried plugging my phone into my computer and forcing the install with SmartSwitch... SmartSwitch sees ETG1 (July) as 'most up to date', and won't let me try to update.
Anything else I could try?
