Wondering if anybody was having these issues
1. Weird flicker when calling or someone calling me
2. Notifications don't clear, as in I click on a notification and app opens. But notification icon and data don't leave the drop down even when out of app, have to pull down a second time or clear for them to go away
So far that's it. Anyone else?

Hi there, guys!
This is my first week using my new Note 5 and something pretty simple is bothering me so much. By the way, I already saw some topics over the Internet talking about this on S6, but no solution was discovered.
As title says, the heads up notifications practically never is shown. So only the app icon appears in the notification bar, together with the notification sound, but the heads up don't. It's really rare to it appear and let me decide to use it's shortcuts or dismiss it.
Is this a known TouchWiz issue? Any workaround?
I'm running stock 6.0.1 with no root. Never did this. Also, tried to disable themes, but no solution. Even setting some apps to priority didn't have any effect. And there's no pop-up notifications restrictions under settings.
Thanks a lot in advance!
I'm on the latest Miui 8.5.9.0 global and have been experiencing this issue for a while where I'd get a WhatsApp or a notification from some other app and it would either immediately or after 5 minutes or so disappear from the status bar, since I'm using Miui launcher, so I do see notification badge on the icon.
I have also taken out whatsapp from any battery optimizations.
Anyone else experiencing the same or know a fix?

For me the opposite kinda happens, when I click on the notification it opens the app and the notification doesn't disappear so I have to click a 2nd time or swipe it away. Or even more annoying when the notification just disappears when you click on it without actually opening the app...
I had the same issues on my Huawei Mate 7 but it never got fixed..

So you kinda have the disappearing issue too, for the notification sometimes staying there, it usually goes away after a few seconds or minutes you look at the message. There's probably a slight delay with the system reading that we've checked it or something sometimes.
Bump
Posting here as I haven't heard back in the S10+ forum:
I don't recall seeing this on my Note9 running Pie, but with my S10+, when the battery is full, a second battery icon is pushed (left side next to the time) when the phone is plugged in and battery at 100%. According to the notification details, it is System UI / Battery Full. Unfortunately I cannot disable any of the System UI notifications.
Any workaround?
Update: System UI on the Note9 doesn't have a "battery full" trigger, hence why I've never seen it. Definitely something introduced on the S10.
Hoping to find out as well. I did set mine to Silent, removed app icon badges, and disabled it on the lock screen, but I believe it still shows on the notification tray and AOD

Yep this exactly.
Well hello there, fellow RFD'er!
Hope to find this out too
You can use the app autonotification to get rid of notifications like that. The notification hiding part of the app is free

You can use this app to hide the battery notification.

Any updates to fix this annoying problem? I just want to disable everything to do with the 100% fully charged activation.
I'm using AutoNotification to block the WiFi Calling notification.
- choose "Notification blocking"
- select the process causing this notification
- Enter the exact title or message
- done - after tapping ok, the notification should be blocked.
It works without any issues and I didn't notice any battery consumption by this app
Hi all,
I am currently using a P30 Pro but I had this same issue on my p20 Pro so wanted to post it here.
Randomly throughout the day I see something in the notification bar at the top that catches my eye. When studying this a bit more and screen recording I see that it is the Google play store notification icon. It flashes up for a split second and then gone and there appears to be no logic or patten to it appearing. I tried to leave the notifications bar pulled down to see ifi could see what it was doing but it is to fast to register an action for me to view and appears as a quick half pull down on the list.
Has anyone else experienced this and also if you have do you know what's causing it and how to stop it.
Thanks

Try to install Notification Log (or any other app that collects notification history) from the Play Store and see if it's able to cath that notification in order to provide more details
Great idea thanks,
I will give that a try and see what happens.
I get the notification flashing up a few times a day at least so hopefully it's long enough to register on the app.
A notification app doesn't record the action I have tried it. It seems to occasionally flash up when opening an app or closing one but not all the time and not always the same ones.

That should stop the notification showing but it doesn't explain what's causing it which is what I'm trying to understand. Some process is working in the background so I'm trying to figure out what

Must be a bug from the app itself. Mostly trying to give you notifications but it fails so it keeps trying to do it?
so Im baffled and I'm wondering if I am missing a setting somewhere. First of all, I am not using dark mode. the battery setting are all set properly as well as notification and "start" auto start etc. this is what I am noticing.
I am using Nova as well..oh.smart notifications OFF. I have de-bloated the phone no Vivo.pem
First of all Whatsapp: my lock screen does not show whatsapp messages most of the times, but it does show the min drop down notifications. I noticed the message comes on the lockscreen and disappears v quickly. I included slowmo of the notification popping and clearing itself out. I also noticed if your phone screen is turned off for while and you open it the lock screen shows most messages including whatsapp. Sometimes the whatsapp notification holds on the lockscreen(I included 3 examples).
Another issue is, coming from Samsung and one plus, all the items on the drop down notifications should be the same on the lockscreen. They are not. I seem to get gmail, whatsapp(sometimes) sms etc..the rest are not showing. is that normal behaviour?. again smart notifications is turned to off. logically any app that I set to show on lockscreen should show on lockscreen? I included 2 photos of this.
I know everyone is having issues with notifications, Im just trying to find the pattern for this because to me it looks inconsistent. either it should show or never show.my audiobook shows on both 100% of the the time. so really confusing for me.could be something stupid that im missing, maybe theres a setting for a timer for a certain notification to show on a lockscreen? I dont know.I think in 10 days Ive learned the settings menu inside out.
Fingers crossed that wasnt a stupid post...
Run the new debloat script I fixed. You probably botched something up with the old script, or removed com.vivo.pem and borked your whole phone.
Ok 2.6? I thought we need to remove com.viov.pem..
Thanks ..Will try again

Only according to like one or two guys who in my experience don't seem to know what they are talking about because the phone performs fine with this package installed.
How did it go?
