Problem with my PRA-LX1.

Hello guys, i have little problem with my PRA-LX1. I was with B175 and today i installed B201 from firmware finder, update installed succesfull, but when i go in settings/about phone, my build number is not B201, im more with B175, but with emui 5.0.1 and security patch from 1 march 2018. Maybe this is a bug. Sorry for my bad english.

Mind to state your C (regional code)?

PRA-LX1C432, now i installed B201 from firmware finder, but in system information write B175.

it is not a problem if the phone is still functional and is working just as usual

I want to know how to update to latest oreo update with all the security patches.
I am following this how-to thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...w-to-install-android-oreo-snapdragon-t3716281 but in the OP the links are broken.
Can anyone update me on this?
The phone is from verizon but I didn't use it on verizon. I got this phone last November. Currently using on Cricket, so probably I don't get automatic updates from Verizon.

I am unsure if you should be on a much newer filmware or not. Sometimes a factory reset can resolve OTA not coming through, this will delete the phone memory though, so back up your data.
You can also get official filmware from sammobile and updato. Just if you want to flash Oreo with Odin, make sure you use the latest version of Odin (3.13.1)

I am on Cricket and using Verizon note 8 that I got from last December. Last update was in November when I still have Verizon. After inserting Cricket sim card, there has never been an update anymore. I turned on Wifi and went into settings> software update to refresh, and there is no awaiting update. I didn't change to unlock firmware (as I do not know how). How do you go about installing the updates to latest Oreo using Odin? I am on 7.1.1 with build 2BQK2

I recommend that you try a factory reset to see if that pushes the OTA update.
If this fails, I will help you step by step with Odin.

[HELP] How to Downgrade & Root my Nokia 8 properly

Hi everyone.
I just bought a new Nokia 8, but it's on Oreo. I want to rollback to Nougat and root it.
However I saw many things here on xda and I fear to mess with my phone.
So first off all, here are some details of my Nokia 8 :
- Model TA-1012 (64GB/4GB RAM)
- Oreo 8.1.0
- Security update December 1, 2018
- Kernel version 4.4.78-perf+
- Build 00WW_4_88B_SP07

Downgrade :
I've downloaded 2 firmwares :
NB1-484A-0-00WW-B03.nb0
NB1-4390-0-00WW-B01.nb0
Problem 1 : I don't know if there are Nougat 7.1.1 firmwares, so if anyone can confirm it ? ALso is it good for TA-1012 model ?
Problem 2 : I also saw the same firmwares but with "QFIL" at the end of filename. What is that ? Is it necessary ?
Problem 3 : How to downgrade with firmware like these ?
Unlock Bootloader :
I know that I have to unlock my bootlader, but I heard that there is a critical mode, how to do it for my TA-1012 ?

Why to you want to downgraded the phone? Is nougat better is performance or battery?

On all my phones, the most old firmware is always faster and less battery consumming than the last (I measured it).
But right now, I've succeeded to unlock my bootloader offficialy. However, when I tried to boot TWRP with Fastboot boot twrp.img, it's stuck on Android Logo Of course I can reboot my phone but I can't flash TWRP...
Is it becasue of 1st December update ? is it because bootloader isn't critical unlocked ? Or becasue of boot a & boot b partitions

Apparently it's because of December Security Patch...
Can I downgrade my phone to nougat to be able to root it ???

I do not use anything to hide the notch.
In the settings there is nothing.

I recently bought the phone from Amazon.es. Based on IMEI my phone is for Cyprus which is kind a wierd.
My problem is that I'm stuck on PPW29.98-66 with January security patch and don't get update through OTA.
LMSA app does not update the phone even though it found this update.
XT1965-3_LAKE_RETEU_9.0_PPW29.98-111_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml
After finishing the update I'm still on the old firmware.
On lolinet I found firmwares for RETEU software channel only.
Is it possible to flash RETEU firmware on RETEU2 phone via RSDlite 6.2.4 without unlocking bootloader or harming the phone causing irreversible issues like hard brick, google pay malfunction, radio not working etc.?

Same problem here

Use latest LMSA application. It has been updated recently and will update your phone to the latest firmware.

No updates on my Note 9

Hey guys. Got an unlocked AT&T Note 9 here with model number N960U. Haven't received a single ota update since I got the phone. Had to manually download a firmware just to get me to Pie and One UI.
Haven't got any ota since then either. Stuck on January 1 security patch. What do I do? Don't mind flashing a firmware, but don't know which to flash.
Pls find my current software detail attached.
PS - I don't use AT&T. Matter of fact, I'm not in the US
