I am asking for massive sending of questions about video stabilization in android pie to Honor.
Maybe then we will stop ignoring the people and they will do something about it.

I would just like to ask did someone think of adding a Slow-mo shooting mode to the main camera, and if that is even applicable or it is hard and if there is a thread about how to do i would like a redirect to.
thanks in advance.
Hi,
Well I have a question about how our Camera on the MI5 cant record videos on 1080p60fps?
After all it has the same camera sensor as the OnePlus3 and the Huawei Mate 8 and both of these phones after a software upgrade on their camera app are enabled to record on 1080p60fps.. First I thought it belongs to the camera app as when I tried the Snapdragon Camera I was able to record video on 720p120fps but 1080p is just on 30fps,What cause that lock can someone please explain me?
As Sensor is the same as the other phones,Same CPU and everything I'm pretty sure the device can record 1080p60fps but what blocking it from it?
Video recording on the OnePlus 3T is of great quality but the autofocus ruins it. It is always hunting... back and forth...
Recording with a fixed focus is a solution but then you have to always refocus yourself.
I am no developer and I don't know how strange my idea might sound but asking doesn't hurt anyone, does it? :highfive:
Is it possible to implement kind of a new focusing system?
I mean, can the camera focus in the background (background task or process, not visible on screen) and when it is done with focus hunting and the desired part is in focus, then it updates the focus on the view/video recording smoothly. So you wouldn't see the focus hunting and have a smoother video.
The processor of the phone is so fast that it can do so many things and it wouldn't be so hard because it is focusing anyway, just this time it shows it later.
I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts about it. :good:
Hello all,
I just ordered my Mi 9 unit and will be expecting in in a week or so.
I read a lot of reviews but all of them were old (day of release) so i would like to ask if we have updates on the following:
Is night mode/ perf. in low light updated?
Notifications issue fixed?
GCAM works for this model without root? Is low light performance better?Audio and Video recording bitrate better than stock app?
Is there a 3rd party video recording app compatible with the Mi9 that records with higher video and audio bitrate? Filmic Pro or Cinema4K maybe?
I read somewhere that Mi 9 is on Google's official list for the Android Q beta programm. Is that enabled? How do i sign? Am i going to be able to keep stock android once the beta programm is completed?
Is there any toolkit similar to Nexus/Pixel ones that make the procedure of installing 3rd party roms easier?
Thanks in advance!
Apparently devs managed to enable an experimental feature of the imx 586 on the Asus ZenFone 6. It's called quad hdr and it enables variable pixel exposure on third party apps and also on video, allowing for better highlights exposure, but not a fake hdr feature, a real even exposure across all image even on Instagram, chat apps etc. This is achieved through a vendor hack and is being discussed on the k20/k20 pro photography group. Unfortunately there seems to be little help for the devs there so I was hoping if someone knowledgeable could help get this feature to our device.
