This is odd. This morning I received a phone call from my family but didn't answer as I was working.
When I got back home I called them back but it cancels it before it starts ringing and says call forwarding active.
I am with plusnet in case this helps.
I checked the settings but nothing seems odd. Its disabled except for when it rings for some time and goes to voicemail which is the default.
I don't understand why I can't make calls.
I've tried calling my phone and it says it's unavailable so people now can't call me either.
I'm not sure what I may have accidentally pressed whilst out. No airplane mode enabled or anything.
I've only had the phone for a couple of weeks.
Have u tried going to settings and search for Call Forward?
You can putt call forward for every sim in your device. Check if there is something enabled.

I got everything working the way I want on my new Tilt. I already created a thread about email not working and I have already been helped on that one (thanks again).
Since then, I decided to use a new rom (Schaps WM6Pro Kaiser 4.21 WWE Full). I am really liking it.
First thing I noticed is that AT&T's Media NET connection was no more, it showed up as CingularGPRS. Although all the settings were right and I think I have everything setup right (data works great, SMS/MMS, incoming/outgoing email, incoming/outgoing phone calls).
But the voicemail isn't working. Phone rings about 12 times, and instead of going to vmail, the caller gets a "The cellular customer you are trying to reach is unavailable, please try your call again" message.
If I press ignore on the phone, the caller gets a busy tone.
I tried searching (really, I did) and didn't find anything.
Any ideas on how to set up voicemail?
Thanks in advance for any help.
My VM got messed up after AT&T renewed my contract and updated my account. Call customer support, I called them last night.
Voicemail is a carrier issue unless you have the wrong number set to dial your voicemail??

I would have no idea what number its supposed to dial.
But thanks for the help, I will give AT&T support a call and have them fix it.
BTW, is this something I did by messing with the phone, or was it probably not set up from the get go? i picked up the phone a few days ago and never received a voicemail and only found out today because a friend called and got that weird message so he texted me instead. Just dont want them accusing me of any
I have the same problem when ignore (red button) a incomming call.
It works good when I don't pick up, then it goes to voicemail after 30 seconds, but when I push the red button it give a busy tone...
Does someone know a sollution for this?
I have the right number in the voicemailbox settings...
Is there an app that I can turn on that sends all calls to my voice mail, since sometimes I want to do stuff without being bothered and screen lighting up with a call.
Does the screen still lite up when I get a call despite it getting forward?

Your phone has a built in feature....shock horror!
It's called Call divert/Call forwarding in Call Settings on your G1.

Actually it's a network feature, the phone is just providing a GUI for it, the phone doesn't redirect any all calls, the network does it after so many rings, or immediately if you have it set to redirected.
it can be done from the diverts menu,
I also like to send individual contacts to voicemail from time to time if I still want my important calls to get through..
Anybody having this problem or have experienced it? If you have or know of a solution, could you help me out? Thanks.
All calls made to my GV goes straight to Voicemail. Not a single ring on the phone.
Oh, one weird thing is that I used to have my wife's number on GV as a secondary and weirdly all calls went to her number. I have since taken it off. could this be a clue?
I would try to look in your GV "settings. Check under "calls" tab and groups tab. Good luck
I bet 'do not disturb' is enabled
Yeah...checked all the settings...they all look good. 'Do Not Disturb' is unchecked. I did a bit of searching today...and it seems to be a GVoice bug.
WTF?!?! What the point of using it then? LOL.
go to google voice on pc and set your phone number to it.. it could be still set on your Wifes, also try to make call with it then try to call it and see if that will help out

Cool...I actually haven't made a call with it in a while...(maybe that's why...it's butt-hurt about me not using it to make calls?...LoL). My wife's number has been deleted off of it since I've been having this problem, but I'll try to make a call with it and see if that will make it work.
Thanks for the tips.
Okay. I had google voice for international calls only. I figured that it was for out going calls only. I guess that because of that setting the calls weren't getting through? I understood it as all calls would come through if my google voice number was called...hmmm...guess they should fix that
Hello, everyone.
I need help with an issue I'm facing. My phone is not receiving any calls whatsoever and I don't know why. I can make calls without any problems, the issue is that I can't receive them.
I don't know when this started happening since I don't receive many calls, I don't know if it's a result of rooting the phone, because it's rooted, or what else can it be. I don't remember if the phone received calls before or immediately after being rooted.
I've tried flashing different modems but I haven't been successful. Also, I have gone through the settings and disabled everything that could be causing the calls to be blocked. I have also called T-Mobile and they disconnected and reconnected my phone to the network and I have gone to one store to have the sim card replaced and that didn't help either. I have wiped the cache and the Dalvik cache and nothing. The only option left that I know is to factory reset the phone wich I'm trying to avoid because I have a ton of apps and my home screens are already setup and folders created and I don't want to do all this setup again.
Here is the weird part. Under just this specific scenario I can make my phone receive calls.
Make a call to any phone
Hangup a couple of seconds after the other phone starts ringing.
IMMEDIATELY BEFORE the call is terminated (lost) dial from the other phone (the one that was called in step 1). This should be within one second and no more after the call is lost.
If I follow this procedure then the call goes through and my note 4 receives it, but the call shall be made immediately after I hang up, otherwise it doesn't go through.
Does anybody have an idea of what could be happening?
Thanks!!
try this, go to settings all the down to calls and click on call rejection which says auto rejection turn that to off, ive had the Same problem and thats what help me out
