Secret Display Mode (Less Saturated and not Yellowish)

UPDATE: there is an alternative app that let you change the color mode, but you need root.
If you're interested, this is the xda thread, and the dev is @emandt. This is the only way I've found of having a not saturated color mode if you don't have a touchwiz rom, like Cyanogenmod.

Limitations ONLY during BETA period:
1) Each time you launch the App it checks for License. If internet connection is not available, the App will not run.
2) For cause n.1 the option "Start at boot" will not work because internet connection is not ready during boot (but it will work when released outside the Beta period)
3) Only MANUAL update available
4) If you have more than one Google Account registered on your device, please contact me because I have to manually add the others to the Licensed list.
- Install on External SDCard is not supported
- Only English Language available
Instructions and development choises:
To avoid creating a permanent running Background Service/Process AND a separated Interface (for changing Settings) I preferred to use an "all-in-one" App which requires this steps:
- first launch the App doesn't show anything (it just set the default/last_saved configuration)
- if launched AGAIN within 30 seconds it will open Settings Interface
- next launches follow the same behaviour as before
This behaviour is intended to work with "Start at boot" options to avoid Interface launching after a Boot is completed.
PS: Open the Interface (the second launch within 30 secs from the first one) may take few seconds while reading informations of your screen.
Instructions for download and activate it:
1) Visit this link and accept to be a Beta Tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.emandt.colormodechanger (this link will allows your Google Account to get a valid License)
2) PLEASE DON'T DOWNLOAD the App from Play Store because a payment is required even if in Beta (Google is crazy charging Testers for this), but manually download it with the link above

Question System UI isn't responding - after December update

Rooted Pixel7 here.
After the December update, I randomly get:
"system UI isn't responding"
Do you also have this problem without root?
Installed magisk modules:
LSPosed
volte-properties for pixel6
universal safety net fix
Systemless hosts
Call recorder skvalex
AOSP mods
Does anyone know where the problem is?

I was also getting random SystemUI crashes until I updated AOSPMods.
Unless you are on the latest canary builds (178+ I believe), you may see issues like this. There were lots of changes in the December feature drop that broke AOSPMod for many users.

I'm on canary build 186, which is the latest as of this post. Just open the AOSPMods app, hit the 3-dot menu in the upper right, select App Updates, then select the Canary update channel / full package, and finally hit Update. After the update, you will be prompted to reboot.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH Android 13 Dec 2022 (Feature drop 2022), or AOSP 13 R18 or Later

Right. The version you have installed has issues with the December update. You should see the AOSPMod app in your apps list though all the same, and it should open just fine. It's just that many features are broken. Once you get into the app, you can change over to the Canary channel and get the working version.
Edit: By the way, even though it says it's not compatible when you're on the canary branch on Github, the latest builds are in fact compatible. These updates were just rolled out over the past couple of days.

Using twrp is not recommended as finding the proper 64 bit version of twrp is difficult.
Installing this rom using just any version of twrp you find for ysl is not possible.
Use Orange Fox recovery instead. It's much more reliable.
I just found this cool rom so i thought i'd share here. Can't find it with google search so it'd take a lot of effort to find this rom otherwise. Maybe youtube would help, i dunno, let me know if this post should be taken down, i'll delete the post then. here are some screenshots-
