REMINDER
If you're having issues and want to submit a report (Logcat) please make sure you are reporting from the stock kernel, not a modified kernel. Modified kernels can break or fix, even improve things. It depends. I can't get a full clue of the issue when you're not running the original kernel.

Thanks for bringing us all these different ROMs to try out .
This one seems pretty smooth so far. Been trying it out for a little while now. Came across a few bugs:
-Couldn't disable SELinux (change to permissive) in Developer Settings
-Advanced Settings under Language & Keyboard FCs
-The SmartNav editor doesn't seem to be functional. I tried adding a few actions to a few added buttons but nothing happened when clicking on 'Single Click' or 'Double Click'.
Keep up the good work :thumbsup:

You guys keep opening threads for all these different devices and the mods keep closing them due to authorship and commit history being removed. When are you guys going to learn?
Edit: at least you're not asking your users to fix mobile data for you this time :laugh:

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

INSTALLATION STEPS :
-trough TWRP 64 bit recovery recovery (last release please!)
- wipe cache and dalvik and reboot
- wipe system
- factory reset
- flash rom and then gapps
Because the gapps is not included, after installing ROM you can install the desired gapps (pico, nano, mini...etc) only 64 bit latest

Same here. Really like the overall implementation though, slight concern about battery life.

Hey, I just wanted to come back and add that I really love this ROM! This is exactly what I have been looking for in terms of UI, but after a few days of using it there are just a few things that I have to mention, especially since I have just installed Lineage with Pie right before this.
Battery life doesn't seem to be so great.
There seems to be a lot more storage used than Lineage. Once I got all my apps installed with Lineage, I was still well under 7gb used, and that was with Substratum and a few themes included. With Dot, I'm at 7.3 and it only takes a few days of reddit for your cache to get so big that you can no longer install updates. I don't know what you guys can cut out, but at the very least it would be nice to be able to uninstall the wallpaper app (I always set mine via Quickpic).
The clock's timer function doesn't work once you've put it in the background. The timer is still going, but no alarm.
I imagine you guys are building a Pie version so none of this will probably get fixed but again, I really love this ROM and I am surprised more people aren't using it. If I had to guess though, it would be the battery and storage. Those are pretty key, so if there is anything you guys can do to fix those I'm sure more people would use this. The UI, the net data display, there are some really nice things built in by default. Keep up the good work!
