I recommend a clean NEW flash with Odin 3.13.1 (and PIE Firmware) and make a factory reset with the normal recovery.

Before you rush off to do that. I would recommend wiping the Cache Partition in Recovery mode. If that doesn't resolve your issue then back up your device and perform a hard factory reset.

In that case I would just install Oreo back on it and wait for the Official Release of Pie. That is porbably a glitch in the Beta.

Sorry to all.
Thats my mistake
I disable aod through package disabler [emoji14]
Now its working fine.
Mod plz close this thread.

SGS slow booting and all crashing

Hi,
I have problem with SGS. When I got it from my friend there was Android 2.3.3. When i turn on the phone, booting took maybe 30minutes, then all apps started to crash. So I did wipe data and wipe cache in system recovery but it didnt solve the problem. Then I flash over Odin official firmware but still booting takes about 30minutes and all apps are crashing. I tried to flash three files rom via odin too but it didnt help. So please help, i really dont know what to do now, i tried everything
Phone is non-rooted, there is official 2.3.6 but all is crashing so it is unusable.
Thanks and sorry for my english

yes you can, use odin and the download menu of the phone (turn it of, then turn it on and press volume down + home + power buttom for a few sec)
there are a few guids in this forum how to do that, just search for it

You have a corrupt param partition.
Download tha param from here. Unzip and flash the "PARAM_i8190.tar.md5" with Odin and it will be ok.

No it won't. It's a kernel issue because cm12 only affect boot and system partition when you flash it.
Good to hear that it worked out fine

I believe that for something like that You need unlocked bootloader and flash Fastboot version of the ROM, not Recovery or OTA version.
This mi9 is not my personal phone (company phone) so I can't unlock the bootloader or install ROM's
Due to my job I use the phone outside and the automatic brightness is crazy sometimes
With previous MIUI version all was good

Then all you can do is wait for the next version while hoping the issue has been fixed, of course you should report it as well using the feedback app. There's a chance that you're the only one experiencing the issue or there could be more but none reports it, hence the developers have no idea it happens.

Then maybe just try to reset (erase cache and user data) Settings.apk?! Maybe this will help You and by this procedure Your personal data on this phone is not in any kind of a danger.

If a Hard Factory reset doesn't resolve your issue. I would recommend that you manually reinstall the OS using Odin.

That is interesting.... Please describe your issue in detail. As that screenshot really doesn't explain much.

1/ the device must be unlocked.
2/TWRP does not work 100% in Android 12 and restoring from Android 11 to 12 will cause problems assuming that the backup is possible.

Were you able to find a fix for this problem. Had updated it to MIUI13 (India) a month back but had suddenly started rebooting immediately when data or wifi is turned on.

yeah the annoying fix called the factory reset. I didn't find any other fix for this.
