We are all using the same device tree.
However this one has the sd card issues fixed (exfat support) and updated kernel sources.
Therefore this rom also requires CSB3 vendor/firmware.
Will update my other roms asap.

Thanks for clearing up my mistakes.
Going to try this one out tonight after work. Getting tired of LOS15 and want to get onto a Pie rom.
Battery seems very good now with the kernel update (of course everyone's usage differs)

Alex already posted PE for Note 9, there doesn't seem to be much interest so i'm not sure if i will do my builds for crownlte. I'm not a fan of doing blind builds even though our devices are similar.

On RR there was a huge battery standby drain. Does this rom also has that issue?
New builds have been uploaded. Please take into account that you NEED CSB9 vendor/firmware (install will fail if you're not on it). You can find these in my mega repo (second post)
Changelog:
- Updated kernel source (thanks to Rainbow_Dash)
- Updated ROM source

Hi, HWC is Hardware composer, which enables User Interface (UI) rendering via GPU. So kinda speeds things up.

Hi guys. I've uploaded a video of my current setup using this ROM. It's really smooth and quite stable.
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bP5C2sneMfk
Things I've changed:
1. Installed Google Product Sans. You can download the font here. Install using TWRP
2. Installed Rootless Launcher
3. Installed Magisk and Magisk Manager to root my device. Then uninstalled some preloaded apps that I don't need like browser, phone dialer, calculator and messages using System App Remover. Then I installed Google Play versions of those from Google itself (for continuous updates/support)
4. Activated developer options and changed animations to .5x to make it really fast and fluid
Im on dotos 2.5....can i flash dis..what should i do
Can I use a custom kernel like LOS?
I'm in love, thanks so much.
Downloaded Windows 10 October 2018 update and when I installed Your Phone companion on my Zenfonee 3, it constantly rebooted every 2 or 3 minutes. I knew it was the phone companion app coz when I uninstalled it, my phone stopped rebooting

I have managed to get kernel 4.4 working on capricorn, all features are working including fingerprint sensor. The latest 4.8 version (and all future versions) have FBE (file based encryption) enabled, which is easier to work with and use than traditional FDE (full disk encryption) in previous Android versions. Because of this change, you MUST use the FBE enabled TWRP recovery linked above in order to access your files in recovery mode. In case you missed it, here is the link again:

If you are coming from a 3.18 based ROM (you probably will be lol) you MUST format your internal storage directly after flashing the ROM. Backup anything important first.
Source code related to the 4.4 bringup (including kernel source, device trees and HALs) are available here:

Very special thanks to @xNombre who did the original work porting 4.4 to gemini.

Look at the device group you are in. You are in the completely wrong place for this.
After installing not start. I use the Experience Android 11 Pixel rom.

Sounds like you didn't follow the instructions fully. Read the second post.

Now possible in my internal test builds.
I also have WiFi display (screen cast) working in my internal test builds. I will release some updated builds in the next few days.

Read post number two. Then read post number eight, which reiterates the important bits of post number two.
Can you integrate command "adb shell settings put secure show_rotation_suggestions 0" (disabling screen rotation icon) directly into the firmware?
updated builds(with swap buttons) will be released?

hey,
since the original post the twrp 3.6 has been released for capricorn, in the changelog for 3.6 i saw FBE mentioned. can we use the official TWRP from now on?
also you mentioned an improved internal build, I would be grateful if you were to release an updated build.
It has been mentioned before - LED is always 100% bright and some kind of brightness control would be a great improvement. I see no issues with this ROM and it provides the most functions.
in about device it doesn;t show that i'm using 4.4 kernel. It's still showing 3.18. Is it normal?
