Update android 8.1 emui 8.1 ?

Hello guys Do you know if p10 receive an update to android 8.1 ?

8.0 isn't even out, yet...so, how would someone know, if Huawei will please their customers by releasing 8.1 - they didn't even made a 7.1 rom for P10.

Probably not. Official 8.0 went live today and that will be all - that's what I think.
But there's always a good chance a talented developer on xda will release a cfw for our phone.
I got my Galaxy tab 2 on 7.1.2 thanks to slim-roms.

Nothing for EMUI 8 update in New Zealand

Still not received the update as of yet over in the UK yet.

No update here in the Netherlands yet either.

Available in Belgium since this morning.

Arrived in Croatia yesterday, Emui 8.0 and Oreo in same update.

Available in Romania since ytd

update the VTR-L09C02 to Oreo

Hello guys ,
i tried to update my P10 VTR-L09C02 to Oreo via Firmware Finder but it doesn't show me any new update , the last one i have on the list is VTR-L09C02B161 and it date is 2018-01-19 .
anyone knows how to update my phone to Oreo ?

I've been told others with vtr-l09 and l29 have received Oreo via system updates on their phones but not me...
wonder if FF has screw3d things up ?
I'm on Vodacom p10 device in South Africa

well guys i also have a VTR-L09C02 but on oreo, i updated it with the scripts available here on the forum it was real easy

I was exactly on the same build VTR-L09C02B161. A couple of weeks ago the Oreo update appeared for me in Firmware Finder and yesterday it got approved. I installed it and everything is working great so far. Check your FF, the update should be there.

UK Pie?

Hi guys
I have the UK Varient LX1-C782 which is on 8.2.0
Just wondering if there is any firmware update out there I can use to install pie. Tried using Firmware Finder but this didn't work as it was not approved for installation.

Just curious if you've been living under a rock for a month. It's out for almost every single country and if you check the forums you'll see the beta has finished back in March

Android Pie is out.... but don't expect it anytime soon on your phone reason being you have the C782 version, this is a customised region requested by the UK network's that Huawei agreed to, so updates are very few and far between hence why your still stuck on the December security patch.

EMUI 11 Beta enrollment open

hi all,
seems that the EMUI 11 Beta enrollment has been open for Turkey and UK and Germany.
i downloaded the Beta 11 EMUI apk and install it.
I have Romanian SIM.
AppGallery is setup for UK
Huawei ID is for UK
Settings-Language-country is setup fopr UK
I am also on VPN on East London - UK
But with all of these, i am unable to see nor attend the EMUI 11 Beta project.
Any solution?

I got today an option to opt on for testa.
I'm on 154 firmware, Poland .

for those who got the beta and had gms, did it break it ?

No EMUI 11 at the moment, they are gathering testers. For my country there is room for 100 testers. When it be full they start beta roll out .

Do they release beta in all eu countries or random??

In the US, looks like its not supported. List of available projects is empty. On 154 (C432E8R6P1) software.

Is your region in AppGallery & Support App all set to the UK too? I have mine set to the UK (since the US is literally not an option) but you also have a UK SIM since you are actually in the UK.
A Reddit user (I can't access their profile) called HuaweiCommunity also made a recent reddit post announcing the open beta: https://www.reddit.com/r/Huawei/comments/j66wgc/help_us_help_you_test_the_new_emui_11_and_give_us/
Tried to click on their profile to see if they have any other posts/comments with more info, but no luck.

EMUI 12 Update

Hey guys,
Happy to share the emui 12 update is available for me in Mauritius now, ahead of the release schedule.. Finished downloading and playing a bit... Thanks Huawei!

Today it comes here in Germany only 802 MB because I have installed EMUI 12 Beta this update is to Stable Release. Wen you comes from EMUI 11 it is about 3 GB
Sorry for my Bad Englisch IT is Google translate.

Still waiting for the update from Pakistan. I hope the update brings back icon sorting and the hidden apps features.

It will have as the mate 20 Oro was Android certified before the Ban on Chinese tech firms.
The update is bringing EMUI 12 not Android 12.

Still no update here in Croatia.

i received EMUI 12 last monday but since the update Google Discover is no more available . Only Huawei Assistant Today.

Happy overall with it, but not 100% liking the notification and control panel split.
