What are your experiences using PayPal on N9? When I try to pay Scribd subscription for example, it takes me to a PayPal website (instead of app) where it greets me with a message that says "Please add a bank or card to complete your purchase." This is strange because I have already linked my bank account and I already have money on PayPal account. When I try to add my bank account anyway it says "This bank account is already added". Any thoughts?
Mostlikely what you are getting is a logged out page, when you going to pay with subscription make sure popup window also logs you into your PayPal account, otherwise you are filling out a guest form which will then rejected your purchase since it can find your bank card already linked to a PayPal account.

It first takes me to the app to log in with my fingerprint, after which it brings me back to the same page where it asks me to link bank account, when I link it, it says something like "that bank account is already linked"...

That's what I'm saying. You aren't logged into PayPal account when it takes you to that page. Make sure you are before doing purchase.

I am. Before that theres a circular loading bar that says "securely logging you in" and on the page in quest it says "Hi, Tom" and "Not you" right next to it, so I'm pretty sure I'm logged in
I've never had any problems with PayPal on Pie.

If the website you are on using PayPal to pay and it opens the app or PayPal first and you login and then it goes to app and then back to website. Then make sure it did not log you out, since it can open new tab which makes new season to PayPal website which you are then logged out from your account. So make sure it actually is logged in there too, if it is then it would let you pick which card to pay with, if it is not then it will give you an guest form to fill out such as first name, last name, address and so on and then card number.

Happened to me even though it was a false alarm.
These kind of mails are being send daily by scammers.
It is a known technique called fishing.
NEVER, and I mean NEVER click on a link to your bank/paypal/ebay/etc from an email certainly when it is a message like this.
account suspended, or even a false "you have bought item blabla", all these messages where designed to make the reader be concerned regarding their account, and thus follow the link and logging into a fake site.
Typing the address manually is always the safest bet.
Use one e-mail specific only for banking business like paypal, and for nothing else (not for forums etc..), never publish it on the web.

Where would one go to bring an issue to Google's attention? When Google play music first released it gave users the option to bill to the carrier account. I selected this option and it said complete. Several weeks to nearly a month later I get an email stating the my purchase was declined and because of a card I have in my Google Wallet. I deleted this card thinking it may of caused an issue with my selection. I then selected to have Google all access bill to my account again. Here it is a few weeks later and I get another email saying my purchase was declined because I didn't have a card set up in my Google wallet.
This is really starting to get annoying. Has anyone else been successful with having this new service billed to your account? Not just selecting it but actually getting an email when the payment wad due stating the payment was successfully applied to your account and not just some card you have set up in your Google wallet.

EDIT: Here you go!
So i was using Pure Nexus rom 7.0 for my nexus 6. And i was using 2 step verification with sms option.
But because i was logging in a lot out of my PC and didn't receive the sms codes sometimes, i decided to try Google Authenticator app. Biggest nightmare of my life.
I disabled the sms option to try make the app the default way for using 2 step verification.
Then a Pure Nexus Nougat 7.1.1 rom came out and i wiped everything, without making a nandroid backup (yes i know, so stupid of me).
When i wanted to logged in to my account it asked for a code from Google Authenticator app which is not installed in my phone so i had no way to log in.
I had to ask from help from Google which is apparently has the worst costumer services i have ever seen. I filled the account recovery form which asks me when i created my google account(like i would ever remember) and then i ask me to provide all the details i can.
This week my 5th request to recovery for the account was rejected. Sadly, i get an auto email from google telling me that they couldn't verify i'm the rightful owner. They asked me for more details, but wont tell what details that could be. i have no idea what can i do to prove then im the owner.
What a disappointment from google that i cant even attach photos to the request and that all they do is to tell me to provide more details with an auto message, with no guidance.
Oh, and btw i posted in the google nexus forum and was told the exact same thing as the auto -reply email.
Anyone here had he's account recovered and can tell what detail to provide?

Yep. I used it more times than I want to count, in trying to resolve OK Google issues on Pure Nexus.
You can still choose to obtain SMS with verification code which will be automagically pasted in appropriate field.
Just look around your UI before lashing out.
i have one Nexus 6 with NBD91P build which is locked with google account (FRP),
i tried almost everything in order to bypass it, but nothing worked for me till now,

Yeah. Get ahold of the account owner. There are some tut around on how to get past it, You will need an otg flash drive to do it. I know it works as I had to do it to a few devices this weekend and it worked on all of them without fail. Completely bypassed all security.

There should be a link that says something like "Having trouble?" below the field where you would enter the authenticator code. Tap that and you will get a list of options, one of which is to verify via text message.
Getting such a text does not change defaults.

Just to cover one more possibility that you haven't mentioned, did you not print the 10 authentication codes that you can use for exactly your situation?
Failing that, maybe zelendel can give you some advice on the procedure he mentioned above?
Edit: on rereading the thread, maybe I'm getting confused because mirosaw2 has posted a question which seems to be related to his device, not his account, and therefore (if I'm correct) should not have been posted in this thread because it's a different question and zelendel's answer doesn't apply to the OP's problem.
Here is the link to the tut that I used. It worked across a few devices.

There are two different discussions going on. However, you are correct in that he should have the emergency codes. If he doesn't, he should be able to get them easily enough.

well it looks like you'll just have to contact google and let them help you.
@Strephon Alkhalikoi
"he should be able to get them easily enough"
But if he hasn't got access to his account, and Google are playing hardball, how can he get the codes now?
By signing in on his PC. Unless he didn't click the box near where it says "Don't ask again on this computer" on the Google sign-in screen, he won't need an authentication code to access his account. Other devices and services requiring access to Google still need to go through the authenticator.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding the problem. I understand that the OP doesn't have access to his Google account at all, therefore he can't validate his phone, but also can't sign into Google on his PC. Maybe he can clarify that for me?

He set up the Google Authenticator on his N6 because of his frequently accessing his Google account on the PC. Apparently he disabled SMS retrieval in his account, and then wiped his device. Now when he tries to activate the account on the N6 he can't because the account requires an authentication token. Google cannot verify that he is who he says he is and thus will not give him a code.
Unless he set up his PC to automatically authenticate his account upon login, he won't be able to authenticate his account. That means he's locked out of everything and will have to make a new account. He'll also have to find a way to bypass FRP on the N6, as he'll get locked out trying to activate.
I realize this isnt place for topics such as this but I have to try because googling does not help.
So what happened is that i forgot password for my main gmail acc, and i went to forgot my password thinking it would only send verification code to my phone and thats it, but then it asked for the last password i remember then enter another email address and they sent another code to that email and at last it said we will send you an email to the other email address you wrote in, and they did but they said there is not enough information to recover my main gmail acc. If there is any solution to bypass this and somehow recover my main gmail, please help me, everything (photos, emails, play services....) is on that acc. Thank you in advance
I had such problem before, I was told to wait 3 days, I sent them an email with the case id that they provided me, and mentioned all subscriptions done in that account, shared libraries and with which account these libraries were shared. I sent them last the 4 digits of the credit card which was connected to the account. Eventually they sent me a link to sign in my account and change the password.

Thank you very much, I will wait for this next email from google, because i filled out another recovery form, and if the answer is negative again, I will try adding as much information that they will find useful, I hope it pays out in the end.
I create a vivo account from my computer them i put it on my x90 pro plus, to use nova launcher, all was fine, i dig in on store (themes, always on screen) etc. And i had to install some apps to gain coins and them change those coins for themes, or somethin else.
Today, suddenly i try the same tactics, but it says something like this "you can'y use this child account on this feature" them i went to accoun info in the phone and i see, name, date of birth, gender is empty, try to fill up that info, and it says "sorry, this feature is "sorry this feature isn't available right now" so i went with my pc to the vivo account to change that and the menu it doesn't show those options like the phone shows.
Any ideas?

Yeah, the only fully-functional Vivo account is a Chinese one. That's also the only one that you can request accout deletion from for example. The only way to make it outside China that we've found so far is to go through V-Market app and register new account through there. The important thing is to register with phone+password (account with password). It will ask for your phone number, but will still allow you to choose your region - and you need to choose China there.
wait what? You need a Vivo account to install Nova? What else do you need this account for?

changing system launcher permanently requires account password, yeah. Or it will go back to default every time you hit Home
Unlocking Developer options will ask for password if I remember it right. Cloud features like 'Find phone" or sms/call history backup obviously need an account. I think that's about it
ok - well, as long as it's in English, should be fine to create an account if it's a one-off thing.

create a email account (it will be India region) if you just need to unlock few features and be done with it. No need to give them a phone number that way and if you don't need cloud functions you won't see any difference.

I created the account from the phone itself, when it asked for a phone number, I entered my Czech number and I received the sms verification and that was it.
Btw if you use phone make sure to remove Vivo account from the phone before you change that number should you do so. Otherwise you maybe unable to remove that account and e.g. should you tben on top forget your account password that could brick your phone (not possible to hard reset without Vivo account password)...
Really bad idea therefore to create that account with disposable or virtual number/email...
