5- To completely hide navigation bar : add following line qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 to /vendor/build.prop at the very end. make sure you have some kind of navigation app installed before you do this mod.

Ed exposed is updated. Riru 15 and framework 0.2.9.9 beta2 as of now and I'm using them on devbase pie and have no issues. Not sure if the latest is stable enough for this rom but just letting you know in case stable on devbase means stable on this rom as well since both seem to be based on stock

none up to date. i couldn't make it work earlier this week. but seems there's been updates and am going to try and make it work after clean flashing new roms

Made an new AROMA ROM based on the A2017G-N-B10 stock version. Like the other slim roms it’s just based on stock with some additions and option to debloat further.
I added the JOJOC Battery Tweak in options that focuses on improved battery performance. I first used it in my MiFavor5.0 rom and gave me and other users some pretty amazing SOT. So therefore i implemented it here too and it gave me an average of +7h SOT.
It’s fully functional and tested. Smooth, no bugs. Magisk/SuperSU fully running without issues.

When you're on another ROM, stock (or even on B05-slim,B06-slim² or B08…) and you want a clean install just follow this procedure :
Other models like A2017 and A2017U can flash this too. Only use Universal BL & your specific MODEM ! : https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=148464
0. In case you want to reflash your own apps, backup your personal apps with f.e. TB, ZipMe... (or whatever)
1. Make a full backup of your current device in TWRP ! (use it to RESTORE if necessary) DON’T FORGET !
2. Wipe cache / dalvik / data / system
3a For G version flash : A2017G-N-B10-bootstack : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=890129502657589611

AFTER INSTALL :
1. Go into Adaway/give root permission/download files etc. and update DONE!
2. Go into PlayStore/settings and check “no auto updates” ! Otherwise the Youtube app will update again to that TERRIBLE ANNOYING ADD state!
3. Check with f.e. Kernel Adiutor, when you added JoJoc Tweak, if it’s running ok and see if values are matching like here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75431784&postcount=2
3a. When on SuperSU, the JoJoc Tweak is enabled by default. So no worries.
3b. When on Magisk, just reboot into TWRP and flash the JoJoc Magisk Module : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75631796&postcount=169 and reboot. Or flash it within Magisk/add new module and search for your downloaded module on intSD/extSD. Check values whether tweak is running but it will.

Can someone please test the Android personal dictionary with this rom? Slim4 is hands down my favorite rom for my A2017U. I'm wondering if it is worth the upgrade.
i installed, coming from darkrom 14.1 my phone will not connect to cell network. it keeps disabling and stating my phone is in airplane mode when i call. i have a a2017u
"Could not remount /system". reboot disemmcwp doesnt work.
I'm using magisk and try to convert apps to system apps with "/system/app mover"
Also strange problem: apps asking for root after a reboot.
Some suggestions or so?
I had the same problem.
It's only working with superSU.
If SuperSu is a sure thing, i think i will switch to SU and maybe switch back to magisk, if i cant find similar xposed modules or apps which i'm using with magisk.
In my case it's working without problems.
Xposed v89 is installed and the phone is encrypted.

try some download manager I had the same problem and downloaded this file

Ah okay. So i need to update step by step? 15.3 -> 15.4 -> 16.0?
I mean that problem still exists with 15.3 and Manager v5.6.3.

HOW TO INSTALL
1. Install Recovery 3.2.1-0
3. Download the ROM and copy it to your sd card.
4.Mount system , data and cache
5. wipe dalvik-cache , cache , data and system
6. After that flash the ROM
7.Follow Aroma Installer
8. Wait 3 to 8 minutes (First start of installation take a long boot)
9. Finish the setup (You will see the picture will blur and bootlogo will be small than screen)
10.To fix this open settings>display>screen resolution change to WQHD then change back to FHD then restart .
*note: if you not change back to FHD , you can't take screenshot and record screen .

i downloaded v1.1 from the link (https://drive.google.com/file/d/195B8aAKDWwvV0g21ExKKdKtVauMqOl80/view)
did a full wipe including the internel storage, then i copied the files to phone and i wait 10 min of bootloop.. :/

Installed the Rom last night,everything worked just fine except the fact that I choosesd custom AOD in aroma installation and did not let the phone to enter deep sleep.
So I installed clean flash for second time with stock AOD and everything runs smoothly.

I used the first csc option and my sim card is detected and everything works (I don't have LTE only 3g contract) also now there is a toggle for screenshot in quick settings, I didn't have that on my DBT CSC.
Updated Magisk to 16.4 and works great.

I'm not sure, but I would try to flash the latest HOME CSC of your latest nougat Stock Firmware.

Installed the Rom last night,everything worked just fine except the fact that I choosesd custom AOD in aroma installation and did not let the phone to enter deep sleep.
So I installed clean flash for second time with stock AOD and everything runs smoothly.

No risk no fun, make a TWRP backup with EFS and flash the ROM. Only you can decide if it's working well for you.

Ya it worked fine. I solved the battery issue by clearing google play services data and cache wipe.

I know that many will say that it is an equal rom others posted, but this my rom she is differentiated. I've been looking for improvements and for it to be an excent version of a stock. I hope it is the first of many other roms not only for the J7 model but for other variants.

If you wanted to install xposed, rom is compatible with it, but as rom comes with Magisk installed, basicIntegrity goes from true to false.

HOW TO INSTALL
1. Install Recovery 3.2.2
3. Download the ROM and copy it to your pendriver and use an otg cable or copy the rom to the internal memory of the device when the device is in TWRP mode that allows the USB cable to access the internal memory of the device.
4. Mount system , data and cache
5. wipe dalvik-cache , cache , data and system
6. After that flash the ROM
7. Follow Aroma Installer
8. At the end of the installation of the autoreboot rom will not happen because it will present error 11, do not worry this will not affect the installation of the rom reboot manually.
9. Wait 2 to 5 minutes (First start of installation take a long boot).

Have you tried debug mode in developer mode? In some cases when it's debugging mode enabled some pc happens that it does not recognize. The rom is tested before being sent to XDA, and the fixes added here are to requests from users who need them, which in itself does not present any bug.

Installation Steps
●
1. Make sure you are using TKKG, AJ'S, latest official TWRP or any TWRP based on them. Otherwise I cannot respond to any bug reports.

4. Flash the ROM. Choose Clean wipe too in Aroma. Choose your options.

Got bootloop after clean install. Re downloaded it, and the same. Error after rom install was about being unable to install root.
I did have message that root would have to be installed separately because of some error...but rom did install. It did seem to get stuck at Samsung logo...phone vibrated, back to logo but it then installed normally. That seems to happen now with all roms. Even though I did get root error message Magisk fully installed, checked root with Root Checker, root fully installed. You Tube Vanced works. Did you wipe everything other than internal storage?

Maybe corrupt download . Try download again.if it worked for many others that's likely your problem.

Does this rom work for the G935F?
Many thanks 100% working for me. Clean install went straight forward and once setup was able to update to magisk 20.4 again all went smoothly.
Not found any issues and only 3% battery drain overnight so very good all round thus far.

I was able to download languages. Click on default language. Fonts, go into display, click fonts default, it goes into screen largely blank with Font style on top. Double click on this, may take a couple of attempts . Only issue I had was keyboard. Keyboard display was old style phone 3 digit display, i. e instead of letters havng a seperate entry each entry had 3 letters, tap 2 times to get B, three times to get C. Downloaded swift keyboard. All great now.

Trying to screen capture to show you...do you know how..
See screenshots. By tapping repeatedly on Font Style you will get fonts. Language and keyboard are also a bit trial and error. Did eventually get full Samsung keyboard, not sure how.
OK for that but it is still a bug it should work better. Still can't download languages.

Did you double tap on English (default ).
I can see the list with languages but when you select one it starts downloading but nothing just keeps tryng forever and it fails.

Just tested on mine and downloaded 3 languages no problem whatsoever, can only suggest you fully wipe phone and reinstall. my phone is a UK G935F are you perhaps using a slightly different variant i wonder ?
Phone is s7 flat g930f. Already did full wipe when installed probably messed up something with aroma installer. Will try again soon.
