After I updated to PIE, all the keyboards I use except for the Samsung one are to low on the screen. The buttons are only 1/2 showing. I have one handed off as well. This is a screen shot of the note. You can see the buttons are clipped on gboard. Same on swiftkey. I have also tried changing the resolution and same issue.

I have tried posting an image here, but only an attachment seems to work.
I notice this as well. My keyboard does not cut off like yours but Gboard is shifted down significantly and it makes typing very uncomfortable. And since I'm not used to the position, typing speed has been affected dramatically. Is there an app or some way we can push up third party keyboards while using gesture navigation?
I have yet to find anything that fixes it. I have just been using the samsung keyboard and its autocorrect is abysmal.

Weird I haven't noticed this. Im using GBoard without these issues.
There must be some setting buried some where.
I finally fixed it. It was the app Navigation Gestures. I had to disable Hide Navigation Bar then uninstall it.

anyone know how i can disable reverse landscape and reverse portrait in the build prop?
i am going crazy as i have apps that need to lock the rotation in landscape that do not work with MIUI for some reason. not even tasker will work and i have no idea why. i've been using this program for years and I've never had this problem. the only thing i can think of that is causing a problem is the fact that this is the only rom i've had with full all directions auto rotation.

I've used it for years on various devices, never had a problem w/it.
IDK if this will override the system settings (needs accessibility permissions,I'm guessing it'll work afterwards).
tI've been using my Note 8 for about a week and a half and I've encountered a really annoying bug that wasn't there on the first day.
When I'm in any kind of multi-tasking screen, any Internet Browser on the bottom half of the screen is blanked out. So for example, in the two screenshots below, I have Amazon and NewEgg open in Samsung Browser and Chrome at the same time. Whichever one is on the bottom is completely blanked out. If I switch which app is on the bottom, it switches which one will be blacked out.
In my phone, it looks black, but in the screenshots below it looks white.
Anyone know what this could be? Admittedly, it could be a lot of different things--I've been toying with Bx Actions, Bk package disabler / ADB, Nova Launcher, my settings, etc...
As it stands now, the rest of the phone works great, but I may have to factory reset my device.
It would also help if someone can tell me how to reliably create a bunch of restore points so I can move in iterations next time I set everything up.
Thanks

I'm one of the few people who almost always holds the phone in landscape orientation; even when talking on the phone with Bluetooth... especially, with the large high-res screen of the Note 9. I'm able to do this with One UI (and also the older launcher on Oreo)... however, I'd like to try others with more customizations.
The first launcher I tried was Nova Prime. To my surprise, it now has an arbitrary limitation which does NOT allow having the dock at the bottom of the screen in Landscape mode... even if there's room for it. Instead, it puts the dock at the right edge of the screen... which looks really bad IMO. I used to be able to do this with Nova launcher, even on my old Note 4. Not anymore.. I've already confirmed this limitation with other Nova users who use a Note 9.
For those of you that are using 3rd party launchers (other than Nova), I'm curious if you could please confirm that you get the dock at the bottom of your landscape screen ...like the screenshot below. I'm thinking about Action Launcher.

The stock EdgeLighting and I downloaded EdgeLighting+ and I still cannot get the camera hole punch notification light to work on either the outer or inner screens. I assume the correct option would be "Eclipse" but when I press it nothing happens?

I'm using Always On Edge from the Play Store.
I've used it on past few galaxy models and it works really well, minimal impact to battery life.
Settings can be a bit tricky but it's easy enough to work out. I've raised a few issues with the dev and he always responds and sorts it really quickly. At the minute I can only get it working on either the front or inside screen, not both at the same time due to the camera placement. I've contacted dev to see if that would be something he could implement.
Use the app called Aod Notify. Perfect app.

since updating to MIUI 14 this button and panel showed up and I can't for the life of me find a way to disable it
it's there with all keyboards, not just the default
it doesn't show up if I hide the gesture help line panel at the bottom but then I miss the quicker appswitching functionality that it has
and the home screen gets an annoying gap as well

You use a Stable Beta, possible bug.

thanks for your quick reply
I had no idea it was beta, haven't signed up for any pre release pilot program or testing of any sort
oh well, hopefully they'll fix it if it is indeed a bug
Well, I'm also getting those annoying exit keyboard button. I just enable the hide full screen gesture indicator and the button is gone.
