Edge panel handle resets it's position after restart, never stays on custom position, keeps on resetting always. Any solution?
If you have just updated to the Android Pie. I would recommend that you wipe the Cache Partition in Recovery mode.

I am having this problem since a few month, after the phone fell and got a barely visible crack on left side of screen i assume this problem started
It keeps on touching random places automatically and does not respond to my touches, sometimes locking and unlocking phone fixes the problem.
but the navigation bar are not working at all
I am thinking will installing a custom rom or formatting the phone solve the problem in case it is software issue.
My cell was on charge and i was using it, all of sudden screen brightness went too dim although the adaptive brightness was off and brightness level was high but brightness went too dim with horizontal display layout line all over screen. Now i have set the brightness level at high but still brightness is too dim. While locking and unlocking the phone continuously 3-4 times, the brightness restored but eventually last for 2-3 seconds.
Already tried hard reset, factory reset, wiping cache but none of these works for me.
What should i do? please help

Probably hardware fault, consider RMA
Hello ! I need help for a specific issue i have never heard happening on an android phone.
I have an Exynos S10e and the task/app switcher becomes partially unresponsive in specific conditions.
When the app switcher just appears, if i try to swipe somewhere (swipe to the side or swipe up to close an app) mid-way through the swipe, the screen suddenly stop recognizing my finger, i have to lift my finger and touch the screen again for it to function. Basically, i have to interact with the screen after the hardware layer updates to avoid this problem.
This issue only appears after the screen has been locked once in the session.
Basically if i reboot/shutdown my S10e, access my launcher and fiddle around with the app switcher, everything is fine. As soon as the screen locks and i unlock it, the issue reappears.
The problem exists with both the stock app switcher and the "task changer" from Good Lock. Also exists with both OneUi and Nova Launcher. I tried a lot of things and i'm up to date on the security updates, etc.
I wiped the cache partition, tried with and without the Always-On-Display, and that changed nothing.
Anyone experiencing the same thing ? Or a solution to suggest ?
(The issue also exists with my old Nexus 5 but the time window allowing the glitch to occur is extremely narrow.)
Hello, Suddenly my status bar area is not responsive to touch therefore I am not able to pull down notification. Touch is working perfectly on other areas.
I tested touch using *#0*# and top area blocks are not responding to touch.
I didn't dropped my phone, screen is not broken and no water damage. It suddenly stopped working.
I tried reboot, safe mode, wipe cache partition and factory reset but it is not working.
Initially i thought it is hardware issue but in lock screen i am able to pull down notification perfectly. so hardware issue is ruled out.
Can anyone recommend a solution? Your help will be highly appreciated.

It could very well be hardware related and there's no other way but to replace the screen if it is indeed hardware related... But for now try going into settings -> display -> status bar -> untick and retick both options there and see what happens.. I was also going to suggest to try this.. Press the physical power button until the power menu appears
Long press the on screen power off button until it turns into 'safe mode'. Click on that
Check whether the status bar now works or not. If it works, then it's definitely related to one of your apps possibly.
But you did say you tried safe mode so I don't know.. Have you updated it recently? Any recently installed apps?
Edit: Do you happen to have a screen protector and case on the phone? Someone else said quote. "the glass from the screen protector was interfering with the perimeter of the plastic case. The plastic pushed the glass up, so thats why it was interfering."

I'm facing a serious issue regarding system navigation button. When I press any of the navigation buttons, the touch area animation keeps remain and doesn’t disappear.
Please help me to fix the problem.
I know I can enable gestures instead of buttons for system navigation. But I really want to figure out what is going on.

I get the same issue sometimes (actually only one time). You can try clearing SystemUI Data (just for sure) and Rebooting your phone
i have the same issue it is not the problem with the ui it is the problem with the tempered glass just remove it that will fix the problem reply me if it worked

i'm agree with you. somethimes some glass cause problems with touch
