System UI Tuner on Note 5 (6.0.1)?

I tried the holding the gear for the settings but it never spins and I can't get this feature enabled. Am I missing something?

Did you enable it in developer options?
From what I have seen it is not available in all regions.
Touchwiz doesn't have SystemUI Tuner. The gear will not spin with the original SystemUI.apk and using Samsung Good Lock the gear will spin but It will not open anything since there's no code in Settings app.

It does make sense that it would not work on Samsung. Not sure what I was thinking.

True, but almost every feature from System UI Tuner is already available in Touchwiz:
Editable notification drawer toggles: Edit button in statusbar header.
Battery Percentage: Settings > Battery > Show Battery Percentage.
Dark UI theme: Well, you have hundreds of dark themes in Theme Store including Material Dark.
Only Demo Mode is absent.
Well I just need to make the notification bar nontransparent, I don't want to change anything else in the UI. I have a lock wallpaper that has a white area at the top which makes the notification icons basically invisible.

Sadly that's not something you can do with SysUI tuner either in Stock Android. You can edit the image to add a 48p height bar to cover the statusbar and set it as a new lockscreen wallpaper. Also, if you're rooted, use GravityBox or Perfect Statusbar. By the way by default in Marshmallow when you set a white wallpaper the statusbar icons turn to the opposite so you can see them. You may want to tune your image brightness with an Image editor in order to trigger the inverted statusbar.

Enable System UI Tuner on Android 6.0.1

Greetings.
I own a Moto G 2014 xt1064.
I am using CyanPop rom version 6.3-NIGHTLY-20160411 with Android version 6.0.1. I want to enable System UI Tuner on Settings Menu. I follow the steps on this link http://www.androidcentral.com/inside-marshmallow-system-ui-tuner with no success. I also find this forum with similar problem https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Moto-X-Pure-Moto-X-Style/System-UI-Tuner-on-MXPE/td-p/3226809 but that solution didn't work for me.
I think maybe in another ROM the standard method works.
Let me know if you could do it in your current ROM.
Cheers
The functions of the tuner are integrated in the rom itself. For example the feature for hiding status bar icons would be in status bar options
Xenonhd has system ui tuner you can enable by long pressing the settings icon

long press the settings icon which is located in status bar
Thanks Halatk7,
I am more clear now, I tested some ROMs with the functions of the tuner integrated (Cyanpop, Blisspop and Tesla), and I think the system ui tuner was disabled in those cases, long press the settings icon procedure was not working.
I then tested some popular ROMs for the motog 2014 and found the feature I needed( hide status bar items) in Tesla ROM v1.0-test-20160123-0642 integrated in the ROM itself as you said.
By the way, the status bar item I was trying to hide was Airplane mode.
Now working good.

Need help to achieve this...

I have stock rooted z3 compact kitkat. And enjoying all xposed modules.
Some issues...
1) In gravitybox, Quick settings management ain't working for me. I have enabled the switch and did all correct settings still in my quick settings extra rows/tiles and apps dont appear.
I need quick settings as seen in the attachment... Which ia again configured via gravitybox.
So what can be done to achieve it?
2) i also want to change colors or quick settings icons so how to do that?
3) also i want to change status bar background color without affectibgeany icons so which app for this?
