What do you want to uninstall?
And for what reason?
Thanks!

Unless you trying to track, locate or wipe another smartphone/tablet/watch remotely from an Android device, there's no need to install it from the Play Store.
With newer versions of Android, 'Find My Device' is built into the operating system.
(Settings > Security & Location > Device Admin Apps)
To provide better security, it's assigned as a Device Administrator.
Meaning it can't be uninstalled.
And it's always running unless you deactivate it manually.
For someone else to deactivate it, they would need your security credentials (password, fingerprint or face).

hello,
how can i install the market enabler?
can somebody help pls
Download from http://code.google.com/p/market-enabler/
Some guys haven't any will of reading..
i tried that solution but still i can not paid applications.
I installed market enabler via appInstaller by Gregory House
http://www.androlib.com/android.application.com-iqbs-android-appinstaller-pxEn.aspx
why still i can not see the paid applications?
1. Install and open the Apps Installer application from the "Android Market".
2. This opens a view showing *.apk application names in the sdcard root directory.(note, if no AppNames are listed you have no .apk files in the root directory of the SDCard)
3. Touch the app name to initiate installation of the app.
4. The app is now installed

1. You must have root privileges
2. Reboot your phone or terminate Android Market before starting Market Enabler and then fake T-Mobile US
i have an other probelem now when i try to change setting from market enabler it says "we got a problem houston" and market still can not find other applications...
why does it give that message
Do you have root?

Before starting this thread, it's impossible that you didn't saw the posts regarding rooting.
Rooting is the process by which you regain administrative access to your phone. It opens up otherwise impossible options to your phone.
Just like windows, you're only guest now on your phone.
This could help
- Why root?: http://android-dls.com/wiki/index.php?title=Why_Root
However i dis-advise you to root your phone unless you have some spare time and the will to read all the requirements and how to's

Yes I know reading can be sooo hard for other people... be respectful to the forum by doing a little research first... there are multiple threads on the first page about rooting... even the 1 click solution.
Do yourself a favor and read carefully before attempting to root... every step counts
thanks for the replies.
i think i need to read the topics carefully before rooting my phone

LOL! Wicked mate!
Btw my phone IS rooted but market enabler won't install
http://uploaded.to/file/en3pg4
I'm going to ask the devs why
What do you mean by "won't install"? How do you install it?
I mean that I downloaded the .apk and tried to install and I get a generic error while "analysing the file" (I don't know how it sounds in english)
hello,
i rooted my phone it does not give "we got a problem houston" error now. but still i cannot see the paid applications.
I installed the market enabler before i was rooting the phone. Can it be the reason. Do you advise me to uninstall market enabler and install again?
And can somebody can tell me how to change the setting.
I go to settings tab from the market enabler and click on German O2
Later go to the Actual tab and and press save current settings. And exit
Is that right?
What is the gsm.sim.operator.numeric in actual tab. There is a number...
thanks for replies
The last time we got an update I had to say remind me later multiple times...eventually I went to sleep just to wake up and find out my phone was updated without my permission.
Is there a way to stop the software update on a stock device?

You can disable it with BK disabler.
Have you tried This? What services would I need to disable?

Using it now.
Just go to the system tab and disable the blue coloured software update with BK disabler. Done.
Can't find a link to the app.
Is there a way to manually do it through settings?

Yeah me neither lol. Just disable options through settings -> software update. It might still eventually push updates after a while though. Long-term you can disable Software update with Titanium Backup if rooted, or else use BK Package Disabler as described earlier.
what if you enable them back but when checking for a software update it just says "up to date", i am running the Nov 1st security patch, have had updates disabled since i use Sub overlays and have a custom ui, just tonight i went and u installed everything bcuz i heard there was a security patch out that was needed n order to get Oreo later this month..i know for a fact my phone isnt up to date.
anyone know what is going on??
my provider is AT&T, any help would b appreciated.
btw..i am NOT rooted or running any custom roms.
Just use bk disabler, disable everything related to software updates, this prevents even the forced updates that sometimes samsung or carriers push, when you re enable all, if there is some update, yo will be able to install it
yeah, using the app is no problem..it's when i enable the updates again thru BK my phone is saying its up to date and i know for a fact it is like 4 security patches behind..i have no idea how to fix it.
i enabled all apps including the update ones, uninstalled BK also.

You are just awesome, pretty and simple. Thank you so much.
For those who do not understand you need activate Developers Options (google it)
Then in Developers Option, uncheck Auto Update System.
I have had this checked from the start and still get update notifications?

Hi, actually I tried your previous post on extreme bloatware removal and ended up with not able to install apks. Even tried side loading via adb. But some required service has been included in your list which caused the apks not installed. I checked with two other devices and same happened. Could you please confirm if it's rectified in this updated one.

Thanks for reporting,
I personally can still install the apks without problems. I didn't need to try adb sideload. otherwise I would not have loaded the list. Anyway I will in these days identify the package involved and make it visible. It was a feature that I personally don't use much based on my configuration. In any case, I repeat, you did well to report it. I will provide to insert it on the thread.

Thanks mate, and I give you a little advice about unlocking the bootloader: it gave me an unlock error even though I never unplugged the Mi account from the device and it was all hours past. With the latest version of the MiUnlock it gave me an unlock error despite everything being in order. I solved by installing version 2.2.624.14. I'll tell you just in case :fingers-crossed:
com.xiaomi.providers.appindex* entries should not be removed from Xiaomi phones. These apps are actually the custom skinned "Settings" for Android - removing them will lose access to all settings and will require your device be factory reset. Leave them alone!

After doing this, the calendar is no longer working. I didn't noticed you included the calendar in those commands, why would you do that?

Because as i said, this is a Debloat, i use third party apps for my personal configuration. especially in packages like in this case "calendar"; it is not difficult to guess that doing a debloat eliminates a related service. That's why I always say to make a backup.
Except that removing the calendar provider doesn't allow the google calendar app to work (the play store version, not the one installed by default). It is completely unnecessary to remove it (again, the provider, not the app) and I wouldn't consider it bloatware at all.
I recommend you to use this https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f1/how-to/tool-xiaomi-adb-fastboot-tools-t3887359
Or visit the saki github https://saki-eu.github.io/XiaomiADBFastbootTools/
It's better and make you easily to debloat or do any adb/fastboot needed. :fingers-crossed:

Thank You on Your answer but to be honest that's not my question. I didn't asked about procedure itself, I have asked is it possible to uninstall this APK without "mysterious" error in ADB shell, [Failure -1000] or something like that, when one tries to uninstall those particular APK's?! I don't won't to just disable those APK's, I would like to uninstall them from currently working OS (I'm totally aware that with this they are not uninstalled - deleted "forever" because they are still in image itself and after factory reset they are still there but that's OK, at least they are removed from currently deployed OS). This JAVA application for which You have gave me a link is nothing more but nice GUI for ADB shell and I don't have a need for something like that, but thank You anyway!

Maybe issue lays in currently disabled state of APK?!
Maybe APK must be in enabled state to be uninstalled, not in disabled state (I have earlier disabled this APK because that's maximum I could do in this time)?
Nope!
Previously disabled APK is not the issue!
Hi, I recently upgraded to OOS 13 stable version and I found the builtin backup to google does not work anymore if I enable the lockscreen password.
If I remove the lockscreen password, the backup could succeed.
I am wondering whether anyone has the same issue ?
BTW, I have magisk module installed and rooted.

Go to system -> google -> backup
Click backup now, it will prompt the lockscreen and starts to backup, then it will complain 'backup failed'.
Open your google driver and check your backup file, it will show size of zero.

Oh ok, that's odd. What size pin / password do you have?
If it's 4 then increase it to 6 and see if it helps..
Shouldn't but give it a whirl
