Where to buy?!?!

Okay...I've been drooling over this phone for the past few weeks. I'm almost ready to pull the trigger...but I'm looking for the least expensive but most reputable online dealer to make my purchase. I'm in the USA so it would have to be imported.
Suggestions? Experiences? Warranty issues? I'm all ears. Let me know what your experience has been with the different online retailers.

Good Point! eBay is probably the one place I haven't looked! Thanks man!

Amazon has a few sellers offering them for around 650. they're also fulfillment so you get free 2 day shipping.

I'm also getting ready to pull the trigger.
If you're just looking for a cheap price, eBay has Australian Notes on sale, which I think is the cheapest of them all due to currency fluctuations.
Anybody know of a seller that does international shipping that has a REALLY lenient return policy? I tend to have horrible luck with displays and don't want to get stuck with one with defects (I once had to return five LCD monitors in a row because each one had more than two dead/stuck pixels! Also, my current Cellphone, a Streak, has an always-on stuck red pixel).
Given the fact that AMOLED screens slowly develop defects, I would really like to find a seller that offers 14+ day return policy with little or no expense on my part, in case I end up making multiple returns.

I did buy my i9100 from expansys USA and it was perfect! Fast shipping. Never had any trouble with the hardware...so I never dealt with the warranty part. But my experience with them was very good.

Might pay to be a little more patient, I'm thinkin' there will be at least another 50 drop post Christmas.
Just a thought and I could be wrong so...
Be nice to use that extra savings towards accessories though IMHO
When I first started lookin' I couldn't find one below 730.00 so if I can get one for six I can that custom leather case I want and break even there.

I've got friends who would buy this for me in either India or Australia.
Where would I have either one of them shop in their respective countries to get me one? Is it worth it, plus shipping, or should I just drop $650 on Ebay? I mean, from what I saw the exchange rate, 35,000 Indian Rupees (MSRP) is $660.

Yeah, I saw that, but the arrival date was in 2012.
Newegg had free 2-day shipping (shoprunner free year trial) and I had a $20 coupon from google.
So, $679 and I'll have it Monday. Plus there is a free charger thingy thrown in, so that's a plus.
I just really hope my unlimited data isn't f-d around with after putting my sim in...

Doesn't the GT prefix indicate the IMEI will be considered a tablet? Some listings omit the GT prefix...I think these are the Polish/Netherland version that doesn't flag ATT as a tablet...

Hmmm...it appears the white one is going for $800 still, while the black(ish) one is $650ish. I'm debating on importing 5 or 6 of these to see if I can pay for mine.
Thoughts?

Buying the N7000 from Amazon

Hello, I am interested in getting the Galaxy note. I am on ATT service. I know the phone is coming here soon, but after examining it I would really like to get the international version with the guaranteed ICS upgrade, and the Exynos chip.
I was wondering if it is safe to buy it from Amazon?
I cant post a link here, but it is called

And it is sold by FGS Trading and Fulfilled by Amazon.
I read a couple of threads here that said to watch out for certain sellers of the phone, and I dont want to buy one that will not be able to get the updates.
Is that one safe to buy?

Bought mine off Amazon, came from Germany (DBT code) in December. Has worked perfectly on at&t. Just input the APN (found on here) and you should be good to go. Now that at&t is releasing it, if you buy one off Amazon, it should say that it has a home button, unlocked and not branded by a carrier.

Is yours from FGS Trading?
I just found another one in white from WorldWide Distributors.
Maybe they are a better company to deal with, I'm not sure. Ive never bought a phone from Amazon before

I purchased from amazon. Mine was sold by and fullfilled by amazon.com (as opposed to sold by someone else) and supposedly has a US Warranty. Personally, I think this is a safer bet than one of those sold by a 3rd party through amazon for a few reasons:
1. amazon prime overnight shipping for only 3.99 USD
2. if there are problems, its easy to talk to amazon directly to resolve them.
3. if the "US Warranty" isn't exactly true, I can just return the device directly to amazon without any hassles or run arounds.
4. I had an issue with the first Note amazon sent me. I called them up and they shipped, overnight, a replacement Note. They did this at their own expense BEFORE I sent back the defective one without any additional credit card charges. They also sent me a pre-paid UPS shipping label to send back the defective one. (Which reminds me, I need to send the first one back to amazon...)

I just got mine two days ago from Amazon. Went with the white one from Global Mobiles and definitely do not regret it. Phone came in perfect and about 18 hours after I ordered it (have to love that prime shipping). As said earlier, put in the apn found here for Internet and also one for mms's and you should be fine - that's what worked for me.
Additionally, in ordering it from Amazon and getting the unlocked one, you don't have to deal with AT&T's slow update track record, but you will have enough access to their LTE of you're in one of the markets where it is available as well as local insurance. It's a trade off, as they are different devices on the inside. I believe even it's a sticky here, check it out.
Either way, I don't think you'll go wrong this device.

Yeah I understand that they are different devices, thats why I would like to purchase the unlocked one. I live in an LTE area, but I really want the Exynos chip that is in the international version. Everywhere I go I have wifi, so LTE isnt a big concern for me. And I understand that LTE eats lots of battery. Maybe in two years when LTE is better, and the chipsets for it are not as demanding, I will upgrade.
Since I want to get the white version, amazon itself doesnt sell it. I have to go through 3rd party sellers.
Anybody ever dealt with Goodios?
I think I will order it today, and I can get it on tuesday.

If you are east coast USA I can recommend AT GSM in New York. Quick process and shipment.

I got mine from Amazon-Global Mobiles. Since it is fulfilled by Amazon, you get the Amazon return policy etc. You can certainly feel safe buying from Amazon.

Since the ATT version is so close, don't you want to wait to see the reviews before buying one?

Got mine from amazon too. Global mobiles. There is no US warranty on any of the imports.

Yep, agree with the mod, one of the things that makes the xda so successful is the ORDER.
Back to the topic, if you don't mind paying extra dollars, go Amazon. They have the top-notch customer service, which took care of my return of previous unsuccessful purchase of mobile phones and a lot of other stuff. Specifically, this seller called "global mobile" is my recommendation.
I had the same question as you did, because I wanted the phone to come completely sealed in the box, and from Europe. So I tried my luck: I bought one for my buddy, not from global mobiles, and the packaging was partially crap, as it's obviously been opened and looks like it came from Latin America. Then I bought a white one for my girlfriend, from global mobile, and it was well packaged and factory sealed, which was the most important thing to me. Also, it came from Germany, so OTA upgrades are good.
At the time, this seller only had white version, so I talked to them thru email, and was informed that their next batch of black (or dark blue actually) would come at xxxx date. I waited and ordered, and it came in yesterday. Right, it's the same kind of goodie my girlfriend got. So I would definitely recommend this seller with my own experience. They said they are some kind of verified importer and they are headquartered in Germany, so their shipments only get rare and random inspection by custom, which is why most of their phones come factory sealed. I'm not sure if any seller mentioned above provide this kind of service/product, but at least I know this seller does.
Be noted though, since it's sealed and comes from Europe, the charger is obviously different, but they do provide a plug converter in the "outer" packaging, and included a nice note about selecting the right language (English) because the first thing you'll see when you turn on the phone is in German, which I liked :thumb up: Also, you can buy OEM samsung charger U.S. version cheap from Amazon.

I simply bought two of these to use at home (i like to reach a charger of my device easily w/o carrying them around)
I just thought the included converter could at least show that they were a thoughtful seller. Oh well, meticulous Germans as we knew it

Hello, I order the Xperia Z1 from handtec and it came with a free Sony SmartWatch2. Fedex is putting my shipment on a clearance hold and wants me to fill out a watch breakout work sheet. I need help on the value breakdown of the movement, case, band, battery, and jewels. Thanks

umm its an LCD panel with nfc, bluetooth and a battery. there is no movement or anything.

I told FedEx that the SmartWatch2 came free with my Z1, but, they said that all incoming items must have a price on them. So in lost at what to put down for the price of the movement, case, band, battery, and jewels even though the watch was free.

Hi i had the same exact issue im from the US. Handtec apparently didn't fill out the customs FCC form correctly and fedex thinks it is a watch when its actually only the phone in the package. The customs guy at fedex emailed a new copy of the form and also the copy that handtec filled out and i had to just redo it. You might want to get in touch with them again and let them know its only a phone and the smartwatch is shipping separately.

I live in the US and received my Xperia Z1 from Handtec a day after it released. They are very reliable based on my experience!

even if it was in the box - it's not a watch as such - it's an accessory extention of your phone and has cpu BT and OS no watch movement or anything like it, they are getting confused by the name and the fact you wear it on your wrist - it might tell the time but it is an electronic gadget not a watch

I'm ordering today from Handtec. Any news if Handtec is helping resolve this issue? Maybe I can ask them not to put any reference to a smartwatch since there's no smartwatch in the package?

I just talked to Handtec Customer Support and they said they were aware of the issue and it is not ractified with Fedex. So we shouldn't have anymore problems. On that note, I just ordered my Z1! Wooot!

fedex guy can't get in my apartment front door .I need to local pick up if not must wait to monday WTF

Samsung's website has replacement charging cradles for $24.99, but they're on backorder.
They do have them in stock on AT&T's site for $25.00.
Got mine today.
Seems identical to the one that came with the Gear:

- PC recognizes device

Got mine for $17 with tax and shipping, but I recommend ordering 2 when they are back in stock, as shipping is the same I believe.

They are back in stock at Samsung website. Coupon code (rv18623) still works if you are registered / logged in on Samsung site. Just ordered 2 and does not raise the shipping cost above that for single unit (3.95 US$ I think it was).
EDIT: Got my order confirmation and they DID double up on the shipping

I bought one of these on Amazon under the "Monoy" brand. Works fine, doesn't stay on as well as the original but it is good enough. I got it shipped next day prime for about $33. They seem to be out of the particular one I bought now. There are others you can find via search.

Best Buy is selling now for $25; and many of use got them a couple months back from Samsung for $17.50 including shipping, so try them.

if your still looking i just saw lots of choices on amazon between $10 generic and $30 oem hope that helps also if you have prime most of the oem ones are prime eligible
