whats your sot on this rom because on mi a2 getting severe battery drain

This rom is great, a quick review...
The front flash is working, quick charge is not really working, privacy guard sometimes didn't block apps from running in background, some features are missing from rr mod menu
But overall it's working without any major bugs

I do have issues via button backlight - changing this setting you always get rest back to default values.
Backlight button "timeout" can't change the 5 sec time out
The buttons also rest randomly..?
Can we get a 'save' option?

I saw that too. Use the button settings from system settings (last option in settings)

Sources are leading to 404 github page. Also I don't see any changes in the changelog

Pity that you decide who is "serious" or not without even knowing them, pity that you "perdict" the future of my ROMs. I have a life, and this is only a hobby for me. No one has ever supported me with anything, and I don't beg for donations or anything else(unlike some others), and I only do this in my free time. If you are not pleased about my work, no one is stopping you from using other ROMs, or building ROMs yourself and maintaining them. Let's see who will do it better.

Urls are wrong : change ResurrectionRemix to ResurrectionRemix-Devices for device kernel and vendor

That is because the build you are using was built by another dev and the latest one is from different Dev. So I think you have to clean flash.

This is an initial build by me, I don't know what did the older build have, so no changelog. I suppose at least you can think of WhatsApp VC lag being fixed and also newer RR source with August security patch.

I wonder if quick charge works for this rom.. I had flashed a few roms where I cannot quick charge.. even to charge the phone is really hard.. however, when I enter in recovery mode, I can quick charge it. Is there any trick to have it working properly on Mi Max 2 Oxygen?

Yes that is possible. But this is a old kernel issue. And i am not a kernel dev. So if anyone fix that kernel bug I will update that in my next build.
