I Flashed official Slovakia firmware of android pie on my note 8 which SB2
My country is pakistan, my question is whether I'll recieve next OTA or I'll have to flash every time? And if yes then which OTA I'll receive Slovakia or Pakistan?

Today official OTA SB4 is available and i got notification for update, downloaded update twice and both times it said download file is invalid, i guess I'll have to update through PC? Something definitely is broken somewhere.

Do you get any error in recovery?Maybe is bad download...anyway i recommend flash it via Odin but use HOME_CSC if you wont lose data...home csc means just update if you flash with normal csc than is full install and means factory reset

Yes there are errors in recovery, recovery mode starts with "no command" error and then in recovery it give multiple errors, like recovery file is not found etc.
Can your please guide, what if i download official country firmware zip which i already have downloaded from updato for pak, now can i flash the zip file using stock recovery? Is it safe?
For odin my issue is tht i don't have pc or laptop with me, 2ndly i don't want to lose my data, there's a long long and reliable process of restoring and backup.
So in short would you recommend updating OTA ZIP from recovery? If yes what would be the way?

Hi guys, i have a problem.
I've tried to install xposed but i bricked my device, so i flashed the old firmware (only cust.img,boot.img,system.img and recovery.img) and now..the phone is working but the sim is not detected..any idea to solve this?
[UPDATE - I've stock rom and i'm on b133 firmware]
You need to go to stock firmware B052, stock recovery and wipe data after fully installation.
Then you need to do an OTA update to 170 and then and OTA update to 180.
After update to one of those OTA updates, your ril (sim) will work again without a problem.

Here is the post, http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/general/huawei-p8-lite-android-6-0-marshmallow-t3309796 download the B152 firmaware and flash it, you can follow the instructions provided by the OP. after that maybe you will recover yoir IMEI or you wont, in any case just update via OTA to 177 version and the IMEI will be restored, exactly the same thing happened to me and that was how I solved
regards
PD In the case you have the balong issue here is the fix for the B152
You can also download it from here:
http://hi6210sft.blogspot.be/2016/05/unbrick-huawei-p8-lite-via-fastboot.html#more
that happended to me when i downgraded but if you OTA update that should sort the problem out, thats what work for me anyway.

I still don't understand why you don't 'like' OTAs. In System Update, Settings, you can always choose Full Update instead of default Differential. And you can force afterwards Factory Reset if you think you need.
b386 is the last flashable by DLOAD. Btw, I was going back and forth through diff stock and rooted and custom ROMs, rollbacks, OTAs, and never had any error in installations. There are many threads with excellent info and guides, you must read and follow because in diff situations methods might be different. DLOAD is not always applicable
I used the betas in this thread, so I of course flashed the firmware recommended this one via Odin, now I don't know if I will receive OTA updates or not? how to check for it and make sure everything is stock and normal again? should I download my country's firmware from Sammobile and flash it via Odin then wait for updates?

I think if you go to the native update settings in settings and just do a manual check that should let you know if the system works

I got an unlocked SM-N960U1 from Amazon. After many updates it's at baseband N960U1UEU1ARL1.
I thought to upgrade to Pie via firmware.science but it only shows these 3 "current versions:"
N960U1UES1ARJ9
N960U1UEU1ZRKP
N960U1UEU1ZRL7
Am I SOL? Any way for me to get One UI on this thing?
search function within xda should give you an answer
I have the same phone and same software version. Did you figure out how to update?

LOL. I hasn't been released for the U1 yet!! Seriously. When it's released, you'll get it via OTA.

Hello. Did you do these steps yourself? Did going from ARL1 back to ARJ9 factory reset your phone or needed you to factory reset to work? Thank you.
Call recording is available on this rom?
download the stock firmware from sammobile for your variant
use odin 3.13 or higher to flash the ROM.
extract the firmware from sammobile
take the AP and CSC files from the stock firmware and put them in ODIN
put phone in download mode and press START to make it flash
phone will reboot and be stock (lock bootloader or flash custom up param to hide bootloader unlocked message)

I've to update It manually? And if yes, which Is the right update to choose in order to make It works in Italy without problems? And the right update procedure? Thank you for your help
