rooting SM-N950F

Just wondering if any one knows can I use another countries firmware on my SM-N950F Optus australia note 8 such as UK or something that had been updated.

Yes. You can. Just make sure that the firmware is for N950F. I think that now BRI has latest firmware, with November Security Patch.

Pie for VTR-AL00

I am in Canada and I have a P10 from China, model number VTR-AL00C00 that is currently running 8.0.0.369. I see that there have been updates for this model, including the Pie beta and there are updates for my model on Firmware Finder but I am unable to install any of them because the are not approved for installation. Mine is still on the November security patch...
Anyone have any ideas on updates? Also my bootloader is locked. Thanks in advance.

Pie for N950U1 (Non-Beta)?

So, I'm still running Beta 2 of Pie on my Note 8 and have heard of people already getting stable Pie on Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile (N950U) which is the model of my phone but nothing for US International Phones. Should I just wait for a T-Mobile Firmware of Pie as that is the firmware my phone originally came with or flash the released Sprint Update and deal with the bloatware of that build despite being on AT&T?
Only reason I'm on N950U1 Firmware was for the Beta and lower bloat from AT&T. I use no AT&T Apps whatsoever and more

Im in the same cas, but i preferd wait to the update on n950u1 than flash a any carrier and have the blootware.

Note 8 SM-950U Android pie update

Hi,i recently bought Note 8 from ebay,turns out it has security patch from july 2018 and im not receiving any updates since then.I want android pie so bad
It's an US carrier unlocked phone i guess.Here are my details;

I stay in Australia so does flashing ATT firmware work?What should i do to get the update?should i change csc ?i have basic knowledge in flashing ,rooting but im new to CSCs. please suggest me any ideas.
