I am currently trying to unbrick my XT1775. I failed in some way to flash the device back to stock correctly. My current issue is getting the device recognized in Windows so that I can use RSD Lite to flash a stock retail ROM. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I am currently idling in #xda-devs on freenode as JamesElmore and would prefer using PM on there to forum posts, but I'll post my progress here along with links to drivers that I find on the way.

Hello,
I do not have permission to post on the pre-existing thread for my problem, so I have to make a relevant thread. Sorry.
I am trying to follow the guide on here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25294381&postcount=30
When I go the FTM Common1 tab, there is no blinking or reaction on my phone. I am unable to read the phone through the 1877 NavAccess.
I have the current drivers installed and my bionic 4.0.4 is updated to date with ICS and rooted.
Does someone have a solution to this? This is my first smart phone and it was given to me. Sadly I have tmobile.
Thank you.
Hi guys, I am having an issue i cant seem to resolve on my razr i. apologies if this has already been covered in another thread (or 10, which is usually the way with these things because nobody reads the other threads) I have been through a load of other threads but cannot seem to resolve my issue so i started my own.
Right, I have switched from iphone to razr and am not stupid when it comes to jailbreaking etc so thought rooting the razr wouldnt be a problem. when trying to root it it failed and i am stuck at the fastboot menu, however, everything on the menu is disabled so i cant use it. i get the usual message:
fastboot reason: flash failure
fastboot max download size: 100mb
usb connected
if i try to use anything on the menu i get the following message:
fastboot menu disabled.
my phone is not unlocked and not rooted. i have barely done anything to it other than install a couple of free apps. i am unable to progress past this screen. the phone is GB and is on 4.0.4
any help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated. again, apologies if this has already been covered, none of the solutions i found were able to resolve my issue. as i said, i had no problems jailbreaking my old iphone, i am a bit of a n00b when it comes to droids...
AW: [Q] razr i problems - fastboot menu
Are you able to run fastboot commands ? Cause in that case you might be able To unlock bootloader and reflash the software .

I am not able to do anything. if i scroll to any of the options on the menu as soon as i hit the volume up key it just returns a message advising the fastboot menu is disabled.
**edit
ah commands not menu options. not sure how i go about doing that. i am 100% new to droid...

Had the same problem, I used the recommendation in this thread, 5th post and it worked, but afterwards need to re-download apps from PlayStore:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36612151
Follow the instructions exactly - you need the drivers and RSD lite on Windows PC, then connect the phone via usb cable that came with it; and you'll need a full unzip program (cost) so you can move the unzipped files into RSD lite. Get the right flash file though - there's a list in the linked post if you don't want GB retail which I used. Important: this only works for ICS 4.0.4 and don't try to downgrade to an earlier version than what's currently on your phone e.g. v.39 to v.31, for example.
Good luck.

If the solution from mervluk does not work (It didn't work for me either) , you should try if you are able to use the fast boot commands .
To do that simply connect your phone to the PC. Then download fast boot , if you do not already have that. It is in the .zip from the RAZR I root thread.
The go to the downloaded folder. There hold shift and perform a right mouse click. Then choose" start a command prompt here "or something similar (don't know how the option is called in English).
Then type in
fastboot reboot
When the phone reboots you might be able to unlock your phone and flash the software.
BUT BE AWARE! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR WARRANTY!!
So you better try the other solution first. This should be your last option.
If you don't know how to unlock the bootloader look in the RAZR I forum or pn me .

Glad about that. This phone can be a bit of a so-and-so. ics is being updated ota to Jelly Bean 4.1.2, which I've avoided so far to keep fm (although not activated on the supplied software). I did succeed with unlocking the bootloader (loose warranty - important) following the whole complicated procedure on Moto's website - but couldn't myself use the shortcuts on here. (Then had to set up again and re-download everything from the PlayStore). It required the Moto-supplied key. I then rooted, though I think the JB ota download unroots again? You can't use RSD lite with JB.
With JB the procedures are different, and a modified JB European (not for use with GB) firmware is now available on another thread which is impressing some posters. But I think just be a bit cautious as there does not appear to be any fix for the "service code corrupt" bootloader error yet. Looks like the options are very restricted whilst no-one understand the interaction between Google Android and the intel atom chipset.
I have a network unlock key from one of the commercial suppliers (cellunlocker.net), but haven't needed to try and use it yet!
Hi you all guys, I own a Kazam Tornado 348 and with little android knowledge decided to root it, which I managed.
After that I decided to keep playing and I did something wrong since I got the boot screen loop, the one where you are only able to enter the TWRP recovery mode but not the OS, I tried to restore it, wipe and reboot it multiple times without success. Now it seems I did even something worse because I am not able to enter recovery mode anymore and it seems will keep turning off and on (just enough to show the phone logo) until it runs out of battery
It is possible I deleted something else last time I was there, like deleting the TWRP itself? I am on total darkness here, I will appreciate if someone point me towards a possible solution, which I hope there is. Thanks for the help
Simply flash it with sp flash tool with gionee elife s5.1 firmware which is Android 5.1 or with kazam official firmware 4.4.2... It will boot up..
My answer is not for u becaus its too late but for those who came here to the thread having same problem...
help for my tornado 348

Hi, I have a similar problem but I am not an expert... so I need very easy and step by step instructions...
Could you please snd detailed information about the procedure to flash my Tornado 348 (including links or pgms to execute) ?.
Please note that the major problem is when i connect it to internet: in this case I cannot use the smartphone because it starts to open and close apps and downloads an infinite number of apps...until the memory is full and it stops.
So the best solution should be to keep it disconnected from internet (no wifi) and access it from a PC.
For this reason I kindly ask you if you could help me with sending the right sw tool to flash it from my PC connected to my Kazam.
Just in case I leave you my mail : [email protected].
Really hope you can help me. I paid my Tornado 348 € 300,00 and I have NO ASSISTANCE by Kazam... (they say they supended the assistance in Italy and I am waiting since months without any help)
Thanks a lot
Antonio

Same
This happened to me too, and not only I couldn't flash a newer Android version (5.1), my IMEI number got destroyed, and I have tried many things to fix it and restore it, but that didn't work.
I have a Motorola moto g6 plus (XT1926-3). And i've been trying to root it. I'm trying to unlock my bootloader but , whenever i go into fastboot mode.
Suddenly my phone isn't detected by either fastboot or adb. When i'm using my phone normally it gets detected by adb and not fastboot. I have tried to install the usb drivers by installing Motorola device manager but, i hear a Windows error sound when it gets to step 2 and just hangs on the last few percentile of step 2. I also tried to install the drivers from a site called Motorolausbdriver but then the installation hangs at about 60%. To anyone willing to help me, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
EDIT: Meant Need help unlocking bootloader in Title, but the main goal is to root it.

I don't have this device but, the you should be able to obtain some member guidance within one of the following threads that's specific to your device.

UNLESS asked to do so, PLEASE don't PM me regarding support. Sent using The ClaRetoX Forum App on my SM-G900V device.
I recently did my XT1926-7
I was on Win10 1803 and it worked fine for me. Id start by making sure Windows is up to date. Also try other USB ports and other cables.
Also I just used Magisk to get my root. None of that Fastboot flashing but Im using a Treble ROM.
I'm new to all of this so I tried to follow a tutorial I just found online. The tutorial was on the androidexplained website.
I followed everything and at the end the phone turned on and I was going through the set up. But it got stuck on the looking for updates part. I tried restarting the phone and now it won't even turn on. It only shows a message that says "Only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed.
I can access download mode by holding down the vol. down and bixby buttons and plugging the usb cable into a pc, but I can't do anything after that. I tried redoing the thing with odin again, but it shows "Fail".
Please help.

you should search on xda instead of on random sites.
1- learn to differentiate the different note 9 models
2- once you have learned this skill, apply the appropriate fix:
2.a-either flash back stock if you are on a north americian model
2.b-continue rooting process accordingly by following the Dr. ketan root oem fix in the guides section of this forum if you are on an international variant.
2.c-if you have a Chinese or south American version, head on over to the snapdragon rom development section.
how to achieve the above is all documented. just search and read the available info on xda.
Thanks for the help everyone, I downloaded the official ROM and flashed it with odin and my phone's working perfectly fine!
