So I have .MOV video...and I have tried everything from "All video converter" to "Xillosoft"....all of them give me error half way through... Even youtube is giving me errors...I feel like something about the video is messed up. But I am able to play this video in QUICKTIME and VLC but in the middle of the video there is a 3 SECOND DURATION where it just gives me blue screen and flickring...this is probably the problem...
Now I think the only option is to record my screen using some GOOD PROGRAM and play the video....THIS VIDEO I HAVE IS 1080P @ 30fps GREAT MUSIC VIDEO
So anyone has any suggestion on a screen//desktop recorder that can record at equally good quALITY.....please help

Handbrake.
Everything seems to play fine on my note, I use MX Player Pro and Dice Player.
DVD Catalyst 4 , has hundreds of profiles and converts dvd`s and video files and it is fast, as it has a feature that does 2 pass encoding in 1
It`s not free though, but it`s only $9.95

It is full screen. You can view normal or zoomed. As its 16x10 screen you'll never get any true full screen.

It will always ask you to convert when you are using Kies mtp mode.
But you won't be able to copy mkv files.
If you are using usb storage mode you can copy mkv files but it won't ask you To automatically covert.
I tried MX player, vplayer, dice player.
For m2ts 1080p videos MX player can't play the videos well, for vplayer you need to configure it in order to play the test videos well, for dice player it is the only one that can play with default setting.
As for mkv, MP4, all players play them well.
Hello guys, I wanted to ask you something.
When I go to watch a downloaded video, in 720p on my dual is not in full screen.
Some video, while others have black bars above and below .. you can remove them, perhaps changing player?
thank you very much!
it all depends on the format that the video was encoded in. (panscan, letterbox, ...) On most videos you can push the double windows icon and on most of mine if i do stretch or crop it will almost always make full screen. This does not come without draw backs though. Cutting some of the picture our or stretching somethings out of ratio. This is the same issues you can have when watching DVD or BlueRays on a tv. Hope that helps you some.
Im having issues with the video player app that comes on the Note 4. The videos on the app plays like normal. The problem is that the controls don't appear when you touch the screen to pause or skip video, change screen sizes, forward or rewind video or anything like that. All it does is play videos and that's it. Please help

You mean after you start playing a video...when you touch the screen to bring up the controls...it doesn't do anything? Have you tried clearing the Data/Cache in Application Manager?
I love using the stock video player on my note 8, especially being able to screen mirror a movie AND still use the phone in a normal manor without disrupting the film. Only negative is it's terrible when it comes to codecs.
Anybody know of an app/or a way were I can play any movie regardless of codec and be able to screen mirror in the background? I've tried loads but none have that one feature the stock video player has.
Any help would be appreciated!

Mostly, it depends of the device you are trying to mirror. For example, if you have a smart TV with mirrorcast you can send videos in background with YouTube vanced, the same for Roku.
It's a downloaded film to my devices internal memory so YouTube Vanced wouldn't work in this scenario
