Any way to stop the Samsung Messages app from waking the screen when a message is received? I really can't stand it and have no option I can find to disable this.

Is there any application that enables to see / dismiss notifications without opening a slider on locked screen ?
Any of the lockscreen alternative apps. They let you drop down the status bar with screen locked to check all notifications without having to unlock. The one thing about that is the volume keys awake the screen when using them I use ringer mode locker to work around that issue.
Handcent sms, or sms popup will do that, allow you to read and respond to messages with a locked screen, but not email, FB or twitter.
Can anyone tell me what I have to disable to get rid of the annoying full screen event notifications? I am referring to the ones that allow you to dismiss or snooze an alert. I have tried disabling calendar notifications and tasks, but I still get them. Any help would be appreciated.
When i turn 'Notifications turn on screen' on i want to choose the sms and calendar app to wake up the screen whenever i receiving a notification and at the same time not letting Messenger wake up the screen when receiving a message. Is this not possible? Is it either all or nothing?
Is there any way to get more apps other than just reminders to show up on the Always on display alerts in the security settings? I have all the other settings correct as I see the notifications when the screen is on, but when its locked and in the AOD mode, only reminders pop up and no other notifications.
Hi guys!
I receive daily a notification by Samsung to turn on my Caller ID and Spam protection, which in turn will send Samsung even more data about the calls I receive. I don't want it. Dismissing the notification will just make it show again the next day.
How can I remove it for good?
I can't remember exactly how I stopped those but if I'm not mistaken you should be able to press and hold the notification the next time you get it and it will display options for that notification. The options I see are; Alert, Silent and On/Off. Then you would save your selection and that should take care of it. There's also a details button that would probably give you more options for other notifications from the app sending those to you.
