really awesome!
Give me a feedback plz.
really like the design of the whole system! runs smooth!
my favorite rom yet
will test battery life the next days.
had no problems yet, will report if there are some
not necessary but: OTA updates would be nice
First thanks for building and sharing this, never heard of POSP!!
Curious to try it but would like to ask if selinux is enforcing?

SElinux enforcing won't matter much unless we go official which we are not going until summer vacation starts and and i work on my own trees. Till then permissive should be as good as enforcing don't bother too much about it.

its certainly a possibility but i have to then setup my own fille share where the OTA manager can access the update 24*7 so yeah need some time for that till then n0 OTAs.
Hello, I installed it and it is awesome but why I cannot flash the GApps? The flash operation goes fine but when I restart it it is without the Google services.
With this ROM, how important is it to delete System before flashing? I usually just delete Data and Dalvic and leave System alone.
Thanks, and thanks for a new ROM to play with! It sounds good.

Haven't tried installing the ROM yet, as I wanted to get some feedback about how important it is to delete /System along with /Data and /Dalvic cache. After I hear from the devs or someone else, I'll install the ROM and post back. Then I can tell you if I succeeded with Gapps.

Did you flash rom and twrp installer,
Reboot to twrp
Then flash gapps and magisk?
If you flash the rom and gapps at the same time, next boot it will boot into another slot which is without gapps.
Will flashing an update keep twrp, gapps, and magisk installed or will I need to reflash all of them like some other ROMs?
How is stability, performance and battery life? Can anyone provide a full review of this? And also, should I continue with POSP in general?

I've had no issues so far and battery life has been just as good as another ROM I've used. I like POSP and I'm using it as my daily.

I tried this ROM only for a few hours and switched because the dark theme from the "auto night" mode did not make the quick tiles dark and it didn't have an increasing ring option. On the plus side I love that it comes with lawn chair as default and has pretty much feature, performance and battery parity with the other popular ROMs for Mata.
Keep up the good work, you are amazing and we need devs like you

Just what I needed thanx a lot:laugh:. About the increase ringer that's the source feature and it's not a viable in POSP I guess

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

This seems to be an issue with all the pie roms using this device tree (Rainbow_Dash and my roms). It seems to be a kernel issue, we are aware of it. Endurance kernel might fix this, you could try it.

Yeah if you don't mind using FAT32 then this is a solution (file size of max 4GB). The issue only occurs on exfat.

New builds have been uploaded. Please note that you need CSB3 firmware/vendor (you can find it in my repo, link in second post). I recommend a clean flash.
Changelog:
- Kernel updated to CSB3 sources (should improve battery), thanks to rainbow_dash
- SD card issues fixed (exfat support)
- added fingerprint for passing cts (no magiskhidepros needed anymore)
- added vendor check

Hey another day another rom, that's what you might be thinking. but we at stag (I'll try not to use big words, because the idea is to be simple) aim at something towards elegance. We are learners just like everyone out there, This is small something we have started which helps us learn every single day. Why Stag, you might question, my answer would be why not. After all Harry's patronus was a stag(pun intended). Anyway, so the aim here is to provide a really good experience to everyone who uses, everyone on telegram channel can contact us and request, everything will be considered, because if you as users feel something missing, it obviously must be missing. So looking forward for people using our StagOS and giving us all your precious feedback.
~Sic Parvis Magna~
PS: for people wondering what sic parvis magna is, it translates to great endings from small beginnings, Something i picked up while playing a game.

I'd say yes because the OP states to flash the rescue zip if you have a theme applied before you update the ROM
It's great to see a new ROM. Thanks. Does it have working fingerprint on 6t with the Los implementations?

Can you add fingerprint icon changer in the settings if it's not already there I don't have telegram or talk on xda much but I think that feature really makes a OnePlus 6t rom feel complete and I like it a lot. We can use the app circle cutter to make our own icons. Thanks in advance

Great rom so far dev... Few things I've noticed default ringtone doesn't make any noise for me (but maybe that is a just me issue) also if you try to use Google phone as your default phone your unable to set it as a default the phone just crashes like the system ui just reboots itself... I'll try and collect logs of the crash as some point today...

First of all Thanks for this wonderful ROM. It's Smooth and Stable. I haven't noticed any Major Bugs. Yet. Just had a few Hiccups while installing. After flashing the latest Illusion Kernel the FP was broken. However flashing Neutrino easily fixed that. Other thing is that some of the Menu Items are located in the wrong place. For Example the Settings for Aggressive Battery are in Status Bar section. The Horns menu is also a little Lower for my Taste but that's just me. I understand these are all Source Side so let's see if the next version fixes that. From Device Side, is DC Dimming implemented? Couldn't find it so I guess that's a no. Hopefully Soon. Other than that perfectly Smooth and Stable. Daily Driver for now......

I woke up today to my phone notification notifying me that this was pinned in the fajita telegram group! That's a great way to wake up. I just flashed and I used 10.3.5 OOS instead of 10.3.4 like op says and i used open gapps nano but all is good. I did a Google restore and setup everything and all seems fine. Appreciate this!! I love POSP!! :good:

Edit
Thanks for this Awesome rom. Was waiting for this for so long. It's surely stable af.
Been using it for a day now. Battery life is really good and the ROM is stable af. The only issue I had is that the app opening times are a bit slower than I'm used to on this device. Hope that gets fixed in the next update. Good work man! ?

You should be able to go into Settings>>Apps & Notifications>>Default Apps>>...Then change the Home App.
Also another thing a lot of people don't consider if you want a closer to stock home experience is flashing ShadyMods systemless Magisk modules for OOS launcher or Shady Launcher.

Yeah, same here. Let's hope it get fixed soon! Otherwise it's very good, stable rom. Good work!
I recommend going into Developer options and setting animation scaling to .5 or .4 to overall speed up responsiveness.
I have encountered 2 issues so far:
1. Lockscreen wallpaper stays the same as the main screen, no matter what I do.
2. Not sure if this is a bug or a general AOSP feature: there are no expanded notifications on lockscreen, I can see only icons. I thought when choosing "show full notifications" when locked will do exactly that, but it doesn't work.

1. Use google wallpaper app for changing wallpaper.
2. Don't know what you are talking about. For me it is same on every a10 rom.
