Since I don't have much time to keep on updating my BlendMIUI so I decided to writte a program to give you guys the chance to build BlendMIUI for your own with latest MIUI sources in just few minutes!
Q:What is BlendMIUI Speed-Porting Software For XPERIA 2011
Ans:This is a short program trying to help you guys to build your own BlendMIUI rom for Xperia 2011 in just few minutes.
Q:How to use it?
Unlock Bootloader first!
1.Download BMSPS(BlendMIUI Speed-Porting Software) then unpack it to anywhere you like(Windows environment).Btw,you should install JAVA SE JRE first or it won't works because it needs JAVA environment to sign the rom.You can goto oracle.com/java to download the latest Java SE JRE.
2.Download latest MIUI rom for Desire HD from miui.us(or anywhere you want).
3.Rename the rom you just downloaded as MIUI.zip then put it into BMSPS/MIUI_DHD_ROM directory.(Do not rename it as MIUI.zip.zip!)
4.Run BMSPS_luancher.exe to start.
5.Do as follows then it will automatically create update.zip under the BMSPS directory.
Then you have two choices:
=>Help youself:
6.Put the update.zip rom to your SD-card.
7.Flash BlendMIUI kernel(I have put it into \BlendMIUI-kernel directory) or DooMKernel for MIUI.
8.Use CWM-recovery to flash the update.zip rom.
=>Use Auto-Flash Function
You don't need to do anything on your phone,it will help you to do all works automatically and boot into the new system!
Features:
1.Support Devices: Xperia Arc,Xperia Arc S,Xperia NEO,Xperia NEO V,Xperia Ray.
2.Latest CM7.2.0 rebuilted sources as base.
3.Automatically port MIUI for your device then output unpdate.zip and sign the rom to let you flash it into your device directly.
4.Your choice Function (addons)
5.Fully working Auto-Flash Function
P.S: CM7 sources and kernel for XPERIA RAY are come from bheremans.
Changelog for Version 02:
1.Add moded Packageinstall to let you chose where you would like to install your apps including SD-card.
2.Fixed function to remind you to install java-jre if update.zip is not created.
3.Small changes.
Changelog for Version 03:
1.Fixed PackageInstaller and Torch FC problem when using the ROM from www.miui.com as base.
2.Automatically recognize MIUI version (Depends on the MIUI rom you use) and change Build version for porting rom.
3.Add "Your Choice" function to help you customize your own BlendMIUI rom(BlendUI,DSPManager,Tweaks,Audios from SE).
4.[For DEVs] Whole-New Source code:More easy to read,more easy to add new language(I mean the BMSPS itself) and new functions.
Changelog for Version 04:
1.Disable echoing information for better display.
2.Fixes and improve performance of BMSPS.
3.Add "Auto-Flash" function to help you flash BlendMIUI automatically
Changelog for Version 04.3:
1.Add Xperia Ray ST18i support(All sources for Xperia Ray are come from bheremans).
2.Fixed Auto-Flash function.
3.Fixed ADB Detective bug which cause the software stuck at entering into Auto-Flash function when you input "yes".
Changelog for Version 04.7:
1.Add Xperia Neo V support.
2.Fully working Auto-Flash function (You don't need to do anything on your phone now until it boots into the new system.BMSPS will help you to do everything automatically.)
3.Some small changes
WARNING:This is not an update-package and you'd better delete all old files if you have installed early version of BMSPS.
Make sure you have unlocked bootloader before using this tool.Baseband 56 is recommanded.

Sounds so cool! thanks
Just tried it for 1.11.18 and it works perfectly, a million thanks!
EDIT:
Because I'm lazy and I don't wanna boot into Win7 each time (I just have it for gaming), I compiled the BMSPS_launcher for use on my Fedora installation. I thought I'd upload it here, if anyone else using Linux wants to give it a try.
You just need the zip and unzip packages installed, in addition to the pre-requisites mentioned by Jason.
I attached the modified source file and the binaries for 32 and 64-bit installations.
@Jason: I hope this is fine with you. If not, let me know and I'll remove them. Thanks again for all your work.
Wow! So nice of you guy.

Sure,go ahead,it would be much convenient to Linux users.
Btw I have updated my latest sources on github and I will keep on adding more functions to BMSPS.

I have checked your file,there is a mistake:
Code:
if( Device==1 )
{
chdir("DATA/LT15i/");
system("zip -r -u ../../temp.zip *");
}
should be:
Code:
if( Device==1 || Device==2)
{
chdir("DATA/LT15i/");
system("zip -r -u ../../temp.zip *");
}
Cuz LT15i & LT18i share most files
WOW really thanks i just updated my BlendMIUI it works like a charm !
thank you soo much
Edit: Thanks for adding DSPManager !! ^_^
it works soo great on my ARC !!

Is there any way to edit this rom to something we want like which APKS are installed and default launcher that kinda stuff?
this is great. it would be accelent if i could chose the language that i whant to install instead of english(not in the cmd window, but for the ROM itself).
can you make a feature for this? only then you will not only be A king you will be THE king.
@Jason: Ok so I've compiled the v2 you posted for Linux 32bit/64bit and archived the whole thing:
EDIT: Reuploaded
http://www.mediafire.com/?9uemvociipaopnn
PS - the source code is attached to the post for your reference. I commented out the Windows-specific lines (instead of deleting them) and put the Linux version below for an easier comparison.
Just one thing, I noticed that even if the update.zip was properly signed and created, the program would still display "5. Failed!" but then clear the screen and show that update.zip was successfully created...
I added an extra condition like below in the Show_Progress function and now it's fine:
Code:
if( i==5 && Step==5 && Out_Check()==0 ) printf("Failed!\n");

Yes,I made a little mistake:
Code:
void Sign_Rom()
{
Show_Progress(4);
system("java -jar signapk.jar testkey.x509.pem testkey.pk8 temp.zip update.zip");
system("del temp.zip");
Show_Progress(5); // Delete this line!!!
}
Code:
Show_Progress(5);
shouldn't be there.Just remove this line and it will be fine.
I will keep on updating my source code to add more useful functions to give you more choices and let it become not only a speed-porting software but also an MIUI rom customization tool.The early version of BMSPS is quite short with some basic functions and it's not written in a standard way.I'm going to do some changes and if you like to contribute to it,you can always fork my source code and add your own things including some useful functions and I will be appreciate.
P.S:
I will release next version of BMSPS with some useful functions before MIUI 1.11.25 released.

Yeah, you're right, it's better to just remove that line instead of adding an extra condition. I'm reuploading now and I'll update the link in my post above once it's done.

This will be used to detail how to get LinuxonAndroid running on the GPad and the process of QPair support to bring new and interesting features to the project as a whole.
Step 1 - Install Linux on the tablet
We shall start by using the standard Complete Linux Installer to install and run Linux with the GUI pumped over VNC (Frame buffer method coming soon!), this method works on most devices and is the most universal but as the project develops in the coming weeks a better method for the GPad will be developed.
Anyway on with installing!
Root
First things first you will need to root your tablet, currently my tablet is running Stock V50020d with root.
The below will most likely work on other ROMs as long as you have root it should work!
(A custom ROM may be developed for further features.. watch this space)
Download
Now we have root you will need to download the below:
Complete Linux Installer
Terminal Emulator
VNC View (I recommend PocketCloud)
Finally download A Linux .img file from our source forge site HERE, I recommend and will be using Ubuntu 13.10 Small ext4. Once downloaded extract the .zip file and copy the .img to your devices memory (internal memory or sdcard).

Bingo!
With linuxonandroid running on the tablet we could then use QPair to allow the user to have a phone (or another tablet..?) as the mouse/keyboard for Linux
posted first steps in OP to start getting LoA running on the tablet.
Everything is running very well, I shall finish the guide shortly to get LoA running but really the app install guide will work perfectly.
Next step I will be releasing a special Ubuntu 14.10 image which will be the supported image for QPair features and other changes for the GPad.

Howdy, cool project. Couple of questions. I'm looking for a reason to install Linux on my tablet, but also understand that I can remotely view my home system with vnc. So what would be the benefit?
Is there more control using Linux to Linux?
Does this mean I could open into my home system, make changes to my kernel, compile, and upload to a server from my tablet?? Late night insomnia while in the mountains would be awesome. I would have to tether my tablet to my phone for WiFi, and run through Linux? This sounds pretty awesome.
Tell me the reasons it won't work.
Pretty awesome OP. Thanks!
Cant log in ubuntu
Can somebody tell me why im not able to boot?im running lollipop with red kernel and before i was running kitkat and still the same.Im my g2 there is no problem but on tab doesn work.I download complete linux installer,busybox,terminal and vnc and i never get the @root.i trh also a differend image but nothing.Any help will be appreciate
The Unlegacy-Android ProjectIntroduction
Unlegacy-Android started out as the OMAP4-AOSP Project. It was created in late 2015 in order to maintain a clean and organized place for pure AOSP support for various OMAP4 devices, such as the Galaxy Nexus and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 series. Over time this evolved to support more than just these devices, but still maintains its roots of supporting "legacy" devices that no longer receive "official" updates: hence Unlegacy-Android was born.
Installation
It's important that /system needs to be unmounted before installing the ROM - some recoveries tend to leave it mounted after performing operations on it.
If you're planning to install GApps, be sure to read the second post!
Aside from these, installation and upgrading is no different than on other ROMs. As usual, 'espresso' goes for all non-3g versions, 'espresso3g' goes for all 3g versions.
Problems
- Occasional sound stuttering in some games
- No hwrotation (meaning the boot animation is landscape on p31xx). I don't consider this as a problem, as autorotation will take effect after bootup anyways... and most 7" tablets, like the Nexus 7 work this way as well.
- The 7.1 builds are experimental! Means: modem not working perfectly yet.
If you notice anything else, be sure to report it in this thread. While I'm kind of busy, I usually read the thread and acknowledge the bug reports, even if I don't reply directly to them.
Downloads
See: http://builds.unlegacy-android.org
Always use the latest TWRP, to flash Android 7.x, you must use TWRP 3.0.3-0 or newer.
Features?
There isn't much to say here - this is AOSP, if you install GApps, you pretty much get the same thing that's running on the Nexus devices. The aim of this project is to create a fast and stable ROM - although, one could use Xposed to add extra features.
As usual, feedback is appreciated
Want to support development? You can consider donating, I spent countless of hours with this

GApps
If you want to install GApps, we recommend Open GApps Nano or BaNkS GApps.
An important note: as this is a pure AOSP ROM, installing GApps tends to be problematic: in order to try to avoid installation issues, be sure to install GApps immediately after installing the ROM, before booting the system for the first time. After the initial bootup finished, be sure to go into Settings -> Apps, and grant every permission to every Google application - most importantly, Google Play services.
In the case of an upgrade, be sure to re-install the GApps package, as upgrading wipes /system. You shouldn't need to re-set the permissions afterwards.

One more note. DO NOT set up your Google account until you grant all permissions, otherwise you will be stuck on the initial setup.

No, at least not yet. I think that the big thing for this will be 3.4 in the near future - I made some very good progress with it, aside from camera not working yet, there are only minor problems remaining
Thank you for everything , dear friend ! And for the support of the old device , and what you are doing and Andi for us ordinary users .
I understand correctly , that support will only 6.0.1 Android N and we do not see , because the device and its old base ?

Before every new Android release, we devs get all sorts of questions like this. I'd like to say it once and for all: there's no such thing as 'we do not see' the next versions and whatnot. People are being negative for some reason, but we always try and succeed in the end... I'm sure that if you start reading past posts, you'll find a lot of people saying that we1l never see Lollipop or Marshmallow due to the device being too old, lol.

Oh don't worry, I'm working extremely hard in the background almost since like a year... I know a lot about these devices (bought a P5100 specifically for testing 3G on the builds and kernels)
Feature list: well, this is AOSP, and I'd like to keep it this way. Imagine this like the stock ROM on the Nexus devices (with GApps flashed, of course).
Changelog: don't expect anything other than AOSP updates and hardware related fixes and updates - of course, I'm going to write a post each time I release an update, just like I do in the Galaxy Nexus thread however, it's unlikely that I'll add a changelog to the OP (I just don't see the usefulness in it).
Screenshots: will do, but then again, don't expect anything special. Stable and fast pure Android, that is AOSP. As a side note, it's Xposed compatible
I hope everybody likes the new shiny unified forum section! There's still a bit of a work left to do, but I think it looks great and eases maintaining the threads; blame me if you think otherwise :silly:
Thak you for your effort to keep tab 2 alive . Amazing work. Are RRO Layers compatible with this rom?

Hi Ziyan,
I'm glad you mentioned this, as I thought that I was going insane this morning (or just slightly more insane than usual).
Just browsing the new "Unified" forum (to verify my subscriptions) and noticed that the "Dhollmen" threads could be clarified (just like the "Linaro" threads), for example ...
This thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2176563 could be titled: [KERNEL][P51xx][AOSP] Dhollmen Espresso
This thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183830 could be titled: [KERNEL][P31xx][AOSP] Dhollmen Espresso
Just to avoid confusion (I freely admit that I am easily confused).
Thanks.

Hi Andi,
I only suggested renaming the existing "pair" of threads (they both exist in the Unified Forum) ... Just like the "pair" of Linaro threads (that also both exist in the Unified forum).
The download links in (all four) of the threads (mentioned above) link to unique builds on AFH (for both P31xx and P51xx devices) in this forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2/galaxy-tab-2-unified
@Ziyan, while we're on the subject, the CandySix for P51XX thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2/10-inch-development/rom-candysix-v1-1-t3331598 should also be moved to the new Unified forum as well (the CandySix for P31xx thread has already been moved).
Sorry for all the edits (I put the blame on OCD).
Thanks.

Done; I guess this is it then. Like the XDA forum admin said, the best way to handle moving both threads is to move them both to this unified section, and close one of them (preferably the one with the less posts). While we could merge them into one thread, the posts would get all mixed through the other threads posts (because of the date order) and we would lose any sense of a flow in the conversation...
Minimum Custom Recovery version?
@Ziyan @Android-Andi Thanks for bringing new life to this old tabs
Is there any minimum requirement for recovery for flashing this ROM? I'm running pretty old CWM v.6.0.5.1. Is it sufficient?
NetHunter -
The Kali NetHunter is an Android ROM overlay that includes a robust Mobile Penetration Testing Platform. The Kali Linux NetHunter project is the first Open Source Android penetration testing platform for Nexus devices, created as a joint effort between the Kali community member “BinkyBear” and Offensive Security. The overlay includes a custom kernel, a Kali Linux chroot, and an accompanying Android application, which allows for easier interaction with various security tools and attacks. Beyond the penetration testing tools arsenal within Kali Linux, NetHunter also supports Wireless 802.11 frame injection, one-click MANA Evil Access Point setups, HID keyboard (Teensy like attacks), as well as BadUSB MITM attacks and is built upon the sturdy shoulders of the Kali Linux distribution and tool sets. For more information about the moving parts that make up NetHunter, check out our NetHunter Components page. NetHunter is an open-source project developed by Offensive Security and the community.
Instructions -
1. Install any ROM of your choice (AOSP, CM, Tesla)
2. Flash Gapps
3. Reboot
4. Setup your phone settings.
5. Go to Recovery and flash nethunter zip.
6. Reboot (It might reboot a couple of times, please setback)
7. Open NetHunter app to finalize settings.
Notes -
- Major portion of Kali works on kernel. I'm maintaining a kernel specifically designed for this. Flashing of any other kernel will result in unprecedented consequences.
- There are underlying issues which might cause a reboot when PEN-TESTING. Personally, I had very very very few reboots while testing.
- I have tested this extensively with ath9k_htc wireless adapter. Problems might arise with it, but I have created solutions too.
- If anyone who has knowledge in pen testing and is willing to contribute, let me know following things works or NOT.
Wireless Injection - Working with ath9k_htc. RALINK, Realtek supported but not tested.
Bluetooth interfaces USB hacks - Not tested, since I have no knowledge nor time to learn it.
Y cable - This is also not tested, since I don't have any resources left to buy new stuff.
Other Pen testing stuff - Again, not tested. But I have checked cSploit on my network and it works awesome.
Bugs :
1) Since PRIMA wlan is built-in, when our external adapter is disconnected there is a kernel panic and it reboots.
Other things????

- Also, remember that only 4 gigs is available after CM install. After chroot even less.
So, you might wana selectively install the pen-testings tools you want, unless you're using internal+external configuration.

Probably because there is 3.4.112 kernel present. You cannot overwrite this due to restrictions of Android system, what you are trying to achieve?

No, the old stock ROM is bloated with security holes. You need a unlocked boot loader to flash a Kernel anyways, so why not use a custom ROM in first place and install this overlay without any troubles.
Im on tesla mm will it still be necessary to flash kernel ,this mm is on your airless kernel ?
An error occurred during the installation.
Hey. When I try to flash this zip, I get an error 1. Error: unable to extract! The zip may be corrupt or your device may not have enough RAM to proceed. Consider using a smaller installer if it is available. CM 13, the kernel is 3.4.112-cm, android is 6.0.1.

Sorry, I haven't lately keeping track of this project.
It worked fine for me 6 months ago, that time we used 2.8.70 TWRP I guess.

LinuxForExynos Group PresentsA WONDERFUL NON WORKING LINUX DISTRO THAT DOESNT EVEN TRY TO BOOTANYWAYS TO FLASH IT:First, flash TWRP or OrangeFoxSecondly, flash Astrako's Partitioner Script from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...epartition-script-for-vendor-support.4143541/ . What this does is it makes your system partition to 4GB, which is good for PostMarketOS. Flash this and reboot to recovery. WARNING: ALL DATA WILL BE GONEThirdly, download PostMarketOS from the links given below and flash it via PBRP. it is automatic and please do NOT opt in for Full Disk Encryption as it will break the phone.Fourth, reboot and enjoy! For now this only has a terminal with a touch keyboard. The login is `user` with the password `12345`.If it works for you or doesn't PLEASE let me know and please do note that this is alpha build software and you should not use it as a daily driver or expect your phone to be stable. Thank you.

I am working on a pmOS port to G610F. Currently there is a port for the J710F (https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_J7_(2016)). This new port will be based on that. Due to me breaking my grandma's phone, she actually has the G610F, also yes she is outstation so I don't have the phone, so, basically I need testers for the new port. Every single development enhancements, milestones and builds will be provided here. As of now, I have the source at https://github.com/LinuxForExynos/pmos-samsung-on7xelte. If you have any suggestions or are interesting in developing or testing, please reply to this thread or hit me a dm at Otus9051#5971 in discord. This project won't be possible without you. Also, I am developing Halium for it too, so this thread will also have this too.
Requirements for testing:
Knowledge with Linux (atleast upto knowing how to cd or cp, the more the better)
Time (a lot)
My PBRP build (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-pitch-black-recovery-project-v3-1-0.4287985/) [actually any twrp build but this one has a better terminal ui and looks cool]
A G610F, with my pbrp
Requirements for development:
why am i putting this but anyways
Knowledge with Alpine Linux and Linux Kernels
Knowledge with DTBs and stuff and android ofc
A laptop/pc with Linux (not wsl) and atleast 6gb ram and a dual core processor

It's ok man
I have here a G610Y. My knowledge of Linux (Debian/Ubuntu/Mint) I think is somewhere between beginner and intermediate. I am familiar with flashing to partitions on the phone with Heimdall though.

its workin'
@zpunout get ready with latest stock, DO NOT BOOT PLEASE I BEG YOU, and flash my recovery instead of stock recovery at the time of flashing. and do not boot to system.
still compiling
See the Main Post for Links
> (doesn't work lol[if you thought it would well no your dreams are gone])
Can confirm, doesn't boot, stuck at samsung splash screen, charging doesn't show percentage so maybe kernel problems.
Yeah, I and zpunout are working on it. Infact, WE HAVE NO LEADS LOL so uh yeah i have to do some digging i guess... The biggest problem is that I don't have the device itself right now so it makes it a bit difficult to work and apply patches. My current workflow is Patch > Build > Upload > Test > Repeat
And uploading takes a long time where I live like a 200MB file takes 10mins to upload... Yeah...

It might seem that development is dead but its not. It takes more than a year to complete each port. Please have patience. You can track our progress at https://github.com/LinuxForExy7870/
