Installation
- Make a (Nandroid) Backup of your current ROM
- Full WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + wipe dalvik cache)

- After flashing, reboot device (First reboot will take a while)

another solid rom for merlin. you are doing great job:highfive: using it with stock gapps and google assistant....with that pixel nav bar animation...it almost looks like pixel phone. very excited for the stable build:fingers-crossed:

Giving a try to every available ROM for merlin ,nice one ,will wait for more stable build ,back to cm14.1 for now

I like this rom, it has things to correct but they are very minimal, do not affect the user experience, I will stay with this ROM and wait for updates.
I found an error when changing the battery icon, the options that are displayed are misassigned and the UI stops when the icon is changed. The rest is great, please continue with the contribution of these ROM

Hi all!
I have installed the CM 14.1. Everything was going great except when I was taking a picture, the resolution or quality of this was pretty bad in comparison of others I took when I was using Marshmallow from the original update, even installing the Camera Motorola App
So, I want to know if this happen too with this ROM or if this ROM has another issue.

Camera quality was good!!.. battery quality was good!!.. but cm music player was missing !!.. think so this is the best rom minor bugs in camera app.. I have found In me) VOLTE Working Thanks for this good work I waiting for ur bug updates and more to goo with this merlin mobile

So far so good, im just having some issues with both simcards LTE its har, i have to get one out so the other can be configured, there are lags on the browser, but camera, bluetooh working fine, phone is hotter than last build, no boot loops, a lot of bugs are fixed, it works for a daily basis

XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is based on LineageOS 14.1 with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.

Flashing Instructions:
To install this ROM you will need to have a latest custom Recovery such as TWRP installed.

Video doesn't play screen goes black either I have to wait for app to force close or restart the phone....

** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip <--& vendor img, if applicable--> to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Notification dots seem to have disappeared (definitely from play store and messaging) and the font and icon size, although set at default seem to be smaller than on previous builds, seems like small now seems to be default rather than extra small > small then default.

Notification dots seem to disappear after every reboot. I can get them back by toggling off and on the allow notification dots in settings > apps and notifications

Thanks for your hard work man, it's so stable Pie build.
@Rosan18 @Gagan_sharma45 to fix the internal problem pop-up you only need to edit build prop (system) this value:
ro.treble.enabled=true
to this one:
ro.treble.enabled=false
Then reboot and it doesn't appear anymore, it is not a final solution cause it is a tree issue I think, but i you do it, you can have your phone without that pop-up window, greets.

can I change DNS on this ROM?
on some ROM or maybe all the ROM from O to P I've tried, I can't change dns. costum dns doesn't work. I tried using the Magisk module, Afwall with custom script and it didn't work

Is this the last crDroid Oreo for I9300? The security patches are from December 2018, so I guess the support is over?

Issues:
- runs rather slowly (slower than LOS 14.1), CPU is capped @ 800mhz (not a big problem for most of the time)
- drains little more battery than LOS 14.1 (not a big problem)
- the camera is broken sometimes
- sometimes it reboots itself and cannot be started, the battery has to be removed
- sometimes it hangs and doesn't react to anything (black screen), the battery has to be removed
I cannot reproduce this freezes and reboots, it happens randomly. It's very annoying.
Unfortunately, for me, this ROM is rather not suitable for everyday operation. That's a shame, because apart from these freezes and reboots (which often require a battery to be removed, because the phone's not responding), it's a quite nice ROM, with fine features, it rather doesn't overheat (not like Pie anyway), RAM memory management seems to be okay, performance and working time are worse than LOS 14.1 but I could get used to it - it's not that bad, besides, this Oreo has some nice features over Nougat (for me, it's mainly more sophisticated notification system). Too bad it's not stable enough but definitely more stable than any Pie I've ever tested.

How to use this mode? Maybe I'll try it again when I finish testing the current ROM.

I installed this ROM again (clean install), this time with "go mode". Unfortunately, nothing has changed. Certain apps extremely stutter or just freezes, and it all leads to reboots. This ROM is not stable for me

For freezee problem Fix set governor: pegasusQ from kernelmanager.

hey there, thank you for you superb work..this rom is awesome but camera is not working properly,front facing camera and video mode both are not working

Flashed the rom yesterday, and hot some feedback :
1) Dirty flash over 7.13 didn't worked for me, bootlooped. I had to format data and clean flash (but I had magisk install and I switched from NickGapps to FlamesGapps, so it may bé related to that). Google sync had a bit of a struggle to trigger (it did eventualy, after reboot, and all my apps were reinstalled)
2) internet deconnection. Wifi and data sometime just crash (I have the bars but get a "!" next to it). Fixed by rebooting
3) minor UI freezes (had those with 7.13 too, may be related to Signal app, as it happens on SMS reception)
4) sound is saturated on phone call, but it's a known bug from los 19

Through popular demand crDroid 8.4 is here and now features a functional OTA updater for migrating across to new builds much easier than before.

Nothing I can really do about that, it's still charging but the metrics for calculating that do not work for our device properly.
