I'm sure there's an app for that.
Like this one. If it doesn't work, then just try others until you find one that does.

Good luck friend!
Each photo was one step, tap or select the items circled in red. Used whatsapp to show the steps.
Worked for me, you'll get it too, pretty basic once shown.
Cheers!

Fair Enough for that. Very Simple and already done that. But I wanted to change the actual messages vibration pattern. Any Ideas?

My fellow XDA'ers,
Since i have the kaiser i enjoyed it quite a while, now i have recently flashed it to dutty's rom (um dunno what version actualy wil get back on that later).
The rom is great just great, thanks for that.
I've got only one problem when i set a sound or vibrate for new text message nothing happens i only get it on display, i tried setting al sounds to on and vibrate but still no sounds or vibrate when i get a new sms.
This is a problem because my server monitoring system sms'es me when a server is down and i dont get a notification of it, kinda useless though.
Anybody having the same problem ? or somebody know an answer to it.
Thanks in advance
really nobody who knows an answer to this problem ?

Hi guys
I just upgraded my HTC One to Android 4.4.3 with Sense 6 using a custom rom (MaximusHD 42.0.0).
When I recieve a text message, I naturally see a notification of this on my lockscreen (see picture).
If I tap on the notification, nothing happens, only for the visual representation that I pressed it (colors change a bit).
I would assume that the message app would open when I tap the notification.
If I remember correctly, the correct behaviour was available in Sense 5/5.5
Could this be a mistake in the custom rom or just an overal feature missing from Sense 6?
It's really stupid to unlock the phone + slide down the notification center and press the notification.

It's sense 6 feature. You can slide down in order to get that rectangle and then click on message and it will open. For notification bar you don't need to unlock your phone. Just pull down whith screen on

Thanks!
It works now, but it's pretty weird and inconvenient if you don't know that it works that way.
Anyway, thanks man!

I recently upgraded to a Note 5 from the Galaxy S5 active. It was very easy to set on the S5 but I cannot get my unread text message notification repeat setting to work on the Note 5. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Settings/ Accessibility/ Notification reminder
Choose the ones you want.
Good luck
I've set it there and it still doesn't work. Oddly enough I downloaded Textra and used it for about 2 weeks and it worked fine with that app, just not the messages app.

There isn't an option there to set repeat notifications.

I don't have that option on that screen. I have everything except repeat message alert.
I've had Note 5 for 6 months and repeat notifications has been driving me CRAZY! I looked everywhere (I thought) for a setting to disable it. Thank you for pointing me to this setting!
No more turning my phone OFF at night to stop it making noises every minute! (Even with Do Not Disturb enabled!)
Hi, as above. After updating this really annoying eyedropper icon that if pressed, changes the colour of everything on screen. Mostly It's just in the bleeping way.
What is it and how do I get rid of it?
Thanks,
Zo0

Go to settings then the accessibility section then the text and display section the colour correction shortcut is what you need to turn off
that's the first thing/place I looked but upon further review and getting used to the new interface, the radio button is on a drop-down menu under CC and it says " colour correction shortcut lol "
I guess I was in such a hurry I missed it.
Thank you,
Zo0

No probs this is why XDA is here
Am i remembering wrong or there was this option on pixel 6/pro? I cannot find it in my pixel 7 and here is what i found on google support:
Change volume, sound & vibrate settings on your Pixel phone - Pixel Phone Help
You can make your phone's volume louder or quieter. You can also change your ringtone, sound, and vibration. Important: Some of these steps work only on Android 10 and up.

Same for me.... i think they removed that option cause i can't find it anywhere
I'm definitely not finding it, replying to follow the thread in case we missed something.

That part, no,
That's the part I'm looking for, pretty sure OP is as well. Prevent ring shortcut appears to be gone.
Gone on the 6a too.
