I love the default arrangement on the S10 with a different lockscreen wallpaper each time you turn the screen on, but there does not seem to be a way to use your own collection of wallpapers in this fashion. I've seen suggestions about using a 3rd party app but the mechanism is already built into the phone. In the Samsung Themes app it refers to the OEM wallpaper rotation as a "multi-pack." Has anyone figured out how to make our own multi pack that can be applied as the lockscreen wallpaper?
If love to know this too.

Yes, but rather than say "I read somewhere that..." or by explaining what I had read and needlessly waited for a reply that would most definitely be "where's your source?" I figured it was just more efficient to reply with just the article.
But, there is obviously a chance this will be a feature in the future. I wish I could use this feature on my homescreen as well.

Hello,
Actually, there is a way with a 3rd party app named "4K Wallpapers". You just need to install it from Google Play (free) and download one image from their app (important - for the app to auto-create a folder). Download the S10 wallpapers and move them in folder "/storage/emulated/0/Pictures/UHD Wallpapers". After that go to "Settings" > "Auto Wallpaper Changer Settings" > Set the condition to "Change On Phone Unlock" and tap "Set Wallpaper".
The change is smooth and wallpapers keep their quality.
Good luck,
Ionut Andrei Paraschiv
Nearly works, unfortunately there is no "set wallpaper" option. I only see "Home screen" or "Home screen and lock screen". There is no option for just the lock screen which is what I want.

I know many people here have reported lag associated with the stock lockscreen that comes with the device. I was curious to know that if anyone has tried a new lockscreen and seen better results? Such as installing a vanilla AOSP lockscreen in place of the blur one and see if it makes any difference?
I dont know if the lockscreen is an actual .apk you can change out easily or not, as i have not poked around myself, but i do know that when i owned my incredible many people were switching out there sense lockscreens for vanilla ones and it didnt seem like a big deal
+1 for this question / desire. I too would like to switch out the lockscreen (and indeed some other APKs/items) for "stock" if possible...
Well, I'll tell you this. I use ADW launcher and have not noticed any lag at the lock screen. I've also seen others using custom launchers that also have said they notice no lag.
I've used adw and launcher pro and still have lag on the lock screen on 2.2

Go look up Widget Locker. It's a sexy lockscreen widget that removes lag COMPLETELY (it actually disables the android lockscreen and you use it instead. Works fansmic, allows tons of widgets on it, including shortcuts to your favorite apps fast, and security locks.
$1.99 in market - search widget locker.
The only thing with Widget Locker -- in my experience -- is that turning on the phone sometimes shows the default lockscreen for a second before fading into widget locker.
Does the home button bypass widget locker?

No lag using flyscreen either.

If you disable screen lock in Location & Security in the settings, you don't get that issue anymore.
I had the same gripe about it until I found that option to uncheck.

I didn't find the option to disable screen lock, but I turned it off using extended controls widget, which should have the same effect. Either way, thanks for the tip!
Not that this has anything to do with your op but htc does not make the droidx as per your signature. Thought you might want to know.

I don't have this option, but I downloaded "No Lock" from the marketplace and it works great with Flyscreen. (I'm using the Froyo leak posted recently)
I did a search and pulled up nothing. My question is, is there a way to just set one wallpaper to work on all screens, so when you set scrolling wallpaper, it just scrolls to each side of the wallpaper??? The it's set up now, it puts a full wallpaper on each screen and stitches them all together, which kind of looks weird when you switch between them. If this can't be done, is there another app I can use or another way to get full screen wallpapers??
Anyone know.
Help someone???
can you re-explain your question.. im not understanding what it is that you are asking..
I have a live wallpaper that I have set.. and as I scroll the screen it stay right where it is.. no matter what I scroll to.
Yes you can. You need to disable transitions or animations. Have a dig through the live wallpaper settings and you should be able to find it.

Dig through the live wallpaper settings? Which ones? The ones in multi picture or are there some other wallpaper settings that I am unaware of? I am pretty sure that the OP was asking about getting a static wallpaper to span across all screens while also having the proper display resolution in both portrait and landscape mode. Something that is still evading me/us to this very day.
I really wish someone would come up with a fix for this.

That is what I am asking. When I set a non live wallpaper it wont allow scrolling wallpaper.
It sets a wallpaper for each screen and stitches them together.
I had same problem. Using ADW Launcher, went to adw settings and un-checked "allow wallpaper scrolling". Now just one wallpaper that my home screens scroll across.

Tried that, and then it doesn't scroll at all.
I am using google launcher and when I try and change my background it does not change the lockscreen background too.
When I go to change the lockscreen background in settings it does not offer the same options to choose from as my normal background...
Not Sure why you are posting this in the Galaxy S6 forum since the question is about Google Launcher. It's not a Galaxy s6 question but, a Google questions.
However, it's been a while since I used Google's Launcher. But, when you choose a wallpaper, it should ask if you want to use it for either the Home Screen / Lock Screen or both.

Easiest way to take care of that is to go to your gallery app or whatever you use to view the image, select "More" in the upper corner, then "Set as wallpaper", then select "Home AND Lock Screen". Profit.

i use the google now launcher too, and i have no problems with this. after you choose wallpapers in the home screen. slide all the way to the right and choose wallpapers again, there you can choose where you want to change your wallpaper, home screen, lockscreen or both.
For those who prefer custom Launchers.
I prefer to use Nova instead of Pixel Launcher but persistent Nova search bar is too small on my opinion and doesn't update weather correctly. So I made my own Pixel styled search widget for KWGT.
Widget is fully customizable so you can set it up as you want including all its layers, colour etc.
KWGT Kustom Widget Pro Key is required to load preset!
Download preset from Google Drive
Also if you have Tasker you can launch Google Now Weather using this task:
Code:
Action android.intent.action.VIEW
Cat Default
Data dynact://velour/weather/ProxyActivity
Package com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox
Class com.google.android.apps.gsa.velour.DynamicActivityTrampoline
Target Activity

You need to install KWGT and move Google_Pixel_Search_Widget.kwgt into Kustom/widgets folder. Then choose KWGT4x1 widget from your widgets gallery and place it to the screen > "click to setup..." (it opens KWGT app) > Exported tab > Google Pixel Search Widget. That's all.

Ofc you're right. I missed that point - will add requirements.
UPD
Several cosmetic improvements.
How do I get mine to display like yours? Mine doesn't sit right at the side of the screen, and doesn't extend as far to the right.

Try to resize it right after placing into home screen. And also set Layer > Scale to 70.
Was an issue with sizing settings from within the KWGT app settings. Changed to auto resizing and it all looks perfect now.

By default it is set to launch Google News & Weather. So you should install this app or set TOUCH to launch another app, shortcut etc..

You can always choose another weather source or try different apps, shortcuts etc. for launching.
I'm using weather.com as a source and google now weather.
Can you please post a link to the wallpaper and icon packs that you used?
This is great!
Do you have any idea how to get it to open a Google search overlay like the Nova widget can?
I googled around and it said to use activity - Google - gsa.queryentry.queryentryactivity which comes close. It opens the overlay but also the app. I would love to faithfully reproduce the native widget so I can use a better weather source. Thanks!
Icon pack name?

Hi folks,
I need a minimal AOD screen that does not show the galaxy sky as well as white star dots.
Only shows time, date, battery and notification icons.
What AOD screen are you using please?
Just choose a non-live image. I did and my AOD is black except for the clock, date, and notifications.
...
Yep, the stars and sky are part of Samsung's third category of Android background called "Infinity Wallpaper".
(besides the regular and "live" backgrounds)
Just disable it, or use the static versions available, and you should be fine.

Ok, long press on an empty spot on desktop. It brings up the wallpaper theme and widget selections
Then select wallpaper. At the top click on my wallpaper/view all
Pick a wallpaper that doesn't have the play icon on the top right . Example from my note, default 1 is an infinity wallpaper, default 6 is the same without the infinity stuff.
If you select a wallpaper without the infinity then your AOD will be minimal and not have stars and what not
Hope that helps

That means there is no way to turn off stars and sky on the AOD screen while having it on the homescreen, right?

As far as I can tell, you are correct. I tried to change the AOD after I set the wallpaper to an infinity one, and could not seem to get rid of the stars. My only other idea would be to separate the wallpaper out, but not sure how to do that.

Settings Wallpapers and themes VIEW ALL (scroll down)
For the first infinity background, 5 and 6 are the static home and lock screen versions respectively.
For the second one, 7 and 8 are the static home and lock screen versions respectively.
You should be able to figure out the rest.
