I'm new to this forum, just throwing that out, so if I don't specify something, please let me know.
So, I have a Doogee x5 (not my main phone, recently bought a new one, so this one is just for stuff) that I softly-bricked via the kingroot app, since I was trying out this app before using it on my main phone. Now, why would I do that? My main phone is doogee shoot 2 which has a very annoying bloatware that opens the browser randomly. I did a little bit of searching, and turns out it was a system app. So naturally, I searched how to get rid of it, and saw that there was only a single answer: rooting the device. Now, I'm not an expert with this, so I searched for basic and simple solutions. I decided to try the method on my side-phone first, and thank god I did that.
Now, the Doogee X5 is stuck in a boot-loop, it does boot in recovery mode, it won't update or flash new ROMs (via "install updates from SD card") since for some reason, the installation is always aborted, and I don't know what to do next....
Would be glad for any help!
Thanks in advance, Raph/

Nobody is aware of any solution?
Have you tried flashing Official ROM via SP FLASH TOOL
perhaps that should be successful
That requires (if you already know this then skip it):
- doogee X5 preloader drivers (and by that I mean MediaTek MT6580 preloader drivers, or something like MediaTek MT65xx preloader drivers)
- SP Flash tool
- PC with Windows, and USB cable to connect it
- Official Doogee X5 ROM
And also, you should have some instructions how to connect it when flashing. On my doogee device (not X5) was something like, Click download in SP Flash Tool + Power + Volume Up + connect it to pc

I've tried it, but the phone isn't detected by the PC, and I'm pretty sure I installed the preloader driver correctly...

This happened to me once (same device) , try flashing a stock rom in SPFLASHTOOL (that you're sure that works) while pressing volume up button (usually it takes more than 15 secs of pressing for device to get detected), don't stop pressing it, then it will enter to META mode, a MTK brick-fixing mode integrated in DOOGEE X5, just while you press that volume up button, device should come to life for long enough to flash a stock working rom to it, don't stop pressing while rom is fully flashed
sorry bad english
hope it helps
Hi everybody,
I spent my time to find a solution to install Windows 10 but without success...
I followed tutorials but i'm blocked at the moment where I select my key into the Bios (2.05) -> Boot override and nothing happens it flash quickly and I can select the key indefinitely.
Someone can help me ?
Many thanks.
Hi, there are a few key things you need to do to ensure proper recognition and install:
1. Windows must be 32bit (no connection to your issue just mentioning it, because 64bit install will brick your device)
2. Use Rufus tool to create a bootable drive and in the Partition Scheme menu choose GPT
If you do all of the above and your flash drive is not faulty, you should not encounter any issues
If you still do, try to turn off your device and turn it on by keeping the power + volume up buttons together to get the dual boot screen. From there you should be able to click on the windows icon if your flash drive is prepared correctly and the setup will start.
P.S. Silly quiestion but are you sure you have the dual OS bios?
Hi,
Step 1 already did but in the second step when I keep power + volume up nothing happens only booting.
I don't think I have the DualBios but I can't find the right files with a good tutorial.
Thanks
Hi, I did flash a dual os bios form c6j8 to my m5c5 (which now works fine with Windows 10 32bit), but you must understand you do that at you own risk and may cause you to brick your device.
This is the thread that explains how to flash the bios https://forum.xda-developers.com/x98-air/help/unbrick-bios-softbrick-withouth-eeprom-t3285054 and you can find the dual bios for c5j8 around the forum. If you can't I can zip mine and post them somewhere.
Hi,
I don't want to take this risk but thank You.
Do You have an idea if we can install Android 6.0 or 7.0 on this tablet ?
Hello everyone, I own a chinese phone coolpad ivvi i5, recently i wanted to flash it with the rom of vernee apollo but unfortunately I didn't select the download only but format all + download in the SP flash tools latest version and ended up failing the flash and losing my android os :crying: now the phone won't neither boot or charge it has no response to power button too
PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME
another problem is that this device eventhough i searched through the internet there doesn't seem to be any information about my IVVI i5 so there no way i can have it's stock rom because i didn't make a backup
What can i do, THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP
Hi there,
I had my old phone Micromax E313 which comes with MT6592M Chipset.
So, I decided to PORT TWRP Recovery for this phone. I have successfully made it.
So sharing this Recovery with you, you can easily flash
FOR KITKAT Ver. only, Not sure about Lolipop Version, so try at your risk, I'm not responsible for any kind of damage to your phone.
Steps to Install :
1. Download SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1604_Win through search in Google.
2. Extract and Open flashtool.exe using Run as Administrator.
3. Now Select the scatter file and Click on Download Button.
4. Remove phone battery and connect to your PC/Laptop using MicroUSB cable and wait till it flashed. (Will take 20 Seconds).
5. Boom! Now you can boot to recovery using Volume Up and Power Button.
