Hi guys sorry for posting in this forum. For some reason my log in isnt recognised anymore so had to re register. Ive been waiting for the RC1 to come out for Cynogen mod and i excitingly installed. What amazing improvement its brought over the Slick rom i was using. However in true fashion ive just plugged my micr hdmi cable into the phone to watch a film and it no longer works and theres so option in settings anymore Hope someone can shine a light on this issue
Regards
Also for me, it works (not so good) hdmi for watching the screen on TV, but if I open a video recorded by the O2X, it connect/disconnect continuosly from the TV.
I'm sorry in advance if this subject already exists. I've searched and didn't find anything similar.
Problem is that when I take pics with HDR mode (especially at night (first picture - it look like there is a smoke) or sunny day) there are some gray spots.
1. HDR
2. look at the sky on the left side of pic - looks like some kind of cloud is there
3. near the building on the sky it looks like there is a cloud.
So since my phone is still under warranty I took it for repair 10 days ago, and still nothing from them.
I'm asking here, because, sometimes in Serbia whn you give them to fix your phone, they don't do anything. I mean literally. Just give you back your phone and than you have to take it again, and again..
Have anyone have/had this kind of problem?
Phone is running android 4.2 - latest update for Europe/Serbia and it's stock rom.
Thank in advance
First, some basic phone info:
- Sony Xperia V
- Cyanogenmod 10.2 (stable)
- Using both stock Camera App and Focal
- Fairly new, only a few months old.
- Obviously has been rooted and has the bootloader unlocked
Here's a video demonstrating my camera's problem:
youtube(dot)com/watch?v=_ChV39DT_QQ
(replace the "(dot)" with ".") (New account so I can't post outside links yet, sorry)
If you've watched the short video, I guess you can see where my problem is. Everytime I try to take a photo or a video, those blurry lines appear. If I'm taking a photo, the lines appear grayish-black and are still faintly visible if I save the picture. If I'm taking a video, they appear as red/green/blue lines and are very noticeable under low lighting. Even on much better lighting, the camera appears to quickly alternate between being slightly greenish and slightly pink. I also noticed that the camera has a harder time focusing on objects than before. The front camera works fine, however.
This was a fairly recent problem. It just appeared suddenly one day without warning; I'm pretty sure I didn't drop my phone and water damage seems to be unlikely (it's an Xperia V afterall.) There is also no visible physical damage on the camera.
Here's a list of things I've done to try and fix it:
- Turn off phone, remove battery, reboot
- Use a different camera app. The problem appears regardless of what app I use (stock, Focal, CameraZoom, Vignette etc.)
- Clear the camera app's cache and data.
- Upgrade from CM 10.1.3 to 10.2 (the problem appeared while I was still on 10.1.3 and persisted in 10.2)
What I HAVEN'T done yet:
- Do a factory reset or a complete memory wipe
- Flash a different ROM
- Disassemble the phone
So does anyone have any idea how to fix this, or at least know what's causing it? One of the deciding factors on why I bought this phone in the first place is its camera so I'd hate to have it rendered pretty useless.
Hello to everyone.
I have red magic 3 global release. i am a mobile publisher. When I bought this phone, I noticed that there was no screen recording feature for my YouTube content, and although I waited for a long time, I didn't receive any screen recording with any updates. I wanted to project the image with elgato but I can't give it to the screen in any way. I have tried many converters. I didn't get a positive result.
can I fix this if I root my phone? or is there someone who can solve this problem or someone who can give an idea?
thanks in advance for your answers..
Hello,
As I own this device for month now, I wanted to share all the software issues I have discovered.
First of all, recording videos. When you move around while recording, the video is choppy. That is pretty much big issue for me as it's one of the features I used to use with previous phone.
Second, selfie camera. When you switch to selfie, default mode is Photo with function "Pretty" set to value 2 - sadly this function mostly makes faces look inhuman (e.g. widening the face) and so having this as default setting when opening the camera app is not really good.
Third - random reboots. I didn't figure out why is it really happening, but it's there. Luckily it has never happened during a call or any activity from my side.
Fourth - when turning off one screen, second screed blinks for very little while. That doesn't really look good either.
Did you also encounter (any of) these issues?

So far so good
I've been using this phone for 3 weeks now
( Without google apps obviously)
This phone is really good
The only issue I've having with this phone is that the screen flickers in some part of the display
Like I'm using all the apps the display is fine but when I'm in Gallery it flickers and it's annoying
I don't know why it's happening
Second the camera quality isn't that great it has all this beautification going on but
I do like that camera family thing it's pretty cool

Guys I have a European z20. The system camera crashes when I try to change from main camera to wide angle or zoom on the tip and shoot. In pro mode instead it works regularly. Anyone who has the european z20 confirm it to me as a bug? Thank you
The phone is lagging with this ugly stock rom. I will try to install the chinese rom, I dont like the global rom, its too bad.
I am willing risk and try this rom. I'm on NC627J_ENCommon_v1.03 and haven't got update for months . I'm guessing if I can flash, can I do it locally on my phone in software update? And is it possible to link me to this rom. I would appreciate it.
