TyTN II Arrived

Today at noon UK time I received my TyTN II. Oh wait, let's rephrase that. I was so impatient that I went and picked it up from the local DHL facility ;-)

I had an e-mail from the courier yesterday to say that they'd be delivering mine today. Unfortunately I'm in meetings all day, so there was no way I could be at home to take delivery.
Took all my effort to change the delivery date to tomorrow, so now I'm going to be 24 hours behind everyone else :-(
Happy Kaiser-ing to everyone who got theirs today though. I'm off to play with my dumb old Hermes for the last time....!

i ordered one from devicewire.com to hongkong day b4 yesterday and just tracked the DHL and called, they will deliver my phone in 10 hours!!!

Would i be right in thinking that if i 'need' this phone ASAP, i'm looking at no less than £450?

Has anyone ordered a Diamond from these people? If so did you receive it ok.
I ordered mine on Tuesday at 3pm with express delivery. I received my dispatch notice and a recorded delivery tracking number on Wednesday morning. As I normally get 1st Class post the day after I was expecting it to arrive Thursday but it hasn't, neither did it arrive today. I gather as it's in the post system it's a royal mail delay but I've never had a problem before. (Also Royal Mail are the most unhelpful people around...long story)

Have you emailed the seller??. I bought a phone off him earlier this yr, a blackberry 8310 curve for my bro in Canada and it took him nearly a week or so to post it...wasnt impressed with his service and gave him neutral feedback. Also have you not checked the royalmail website for the tracking info??. Although that wont be of any use as its not updated till the parcel is delivered.
But i would email the seller and ask him what exactly is going on??.

Tracking system just says the item has not been delivered. All the RM tracking can tell you is when it was delivered so you dont know at what stage it is, just that it's somewhere but not delivered....handy I know. It is a valid tracking number tho as I tried changing a digit and it said it was invalid.

I've received mine today. Tis brand new (didnt realize the box is pyramid shaped :S).

Hmmm interesting, i just rung up totalpda and they still say its the 24th they will have stock in. Rung up Inkino and they are saying that this thurs or fri they should have stock in but their allocation has sold out plus they are selling them at £470 with delivery. Insight havent a clue to be honest, although their website says they 50 coming in...they are all sold out but also said stock is due in end of week. When i asked about their refund/return policy..they said you can return it but will be charged a restocking fee of 20%. Spoke to play.com and they are expecting stock in on 19th so have placed an order with them as they are cheapest at the moment. Still have my pre-order with totalpda as well as i will wait and see what happens with play.com...whether they deliver on the 19th or not.
Look on the bright side though, at least you will have a proper uk spec model rather than an imported one ie grey.

Yeah, actually what changed my mind was the issues people are having.
There seems to be a distinct difference in issues between people with the older 1.34 rom and 1.35 rom. So I'm hoping the UK rom will be even better. We don't really know how long it will take for the hard SPL to work on the new diamonds, and when HTC will release an update for the HK version.
I think at this rate it'll be out on T-Mobile by the time i get hold of one

Well i am hoping that the uk spec Diamond i get wont have these issues that people seem to be having with the grey imports. Still not 100% sure if ill keep it but ill have a few days playing with it and see how i get on with it. If i dont then ill just wait for the Sony Xperia X1 which is due out Sept or Oct according to the guy at Inkino. I would wait for tmobile but my contract doesnt renew till next yr so i might end up getting the Touch pro when my contract comes up for renewal.

Anyone had positive dealings with htcdirect.co.uk before? Think I might order from here, would do play but they order to billing and I need it sent to work.

Same reason as me, id like to order from them but not really sure to be honest. In the meantime ive sent them an email asking if they will definitley have them in stock and whether they are proper uk models. Also enquired about their returns policy etc.

Yeah very odd..
Listed on asus website with no information on availability .
The only way to buy the watch is to import from bhphotovideo. (with duty it comes to about £299)
not sure what the UK final price will be though

They have it on the Amazon.de site but you can't have it shipped it to the UK. It seems it's widely available in Europe just not in the UK, maybe it's some safety issue delaying things??

I pre-ordered one from amazon.fr. (france) And even though it had been displaying coming soon (even now) on their website, I received a confirmation email today that it had been shipped.
I tracked it, and it is already in Peterborough, UK, and will be delivered here to me in London on Saturday.
During the pre order, it dropped to 230 euro for the leather-band then went back up, and they honored it..
£193.33 not bad.
Also, saw on reddit that you can use a 15mm pin and just carefully alter your own strap

I pre-ordered on the 26th of November, then I contacted them via email in english and asked if they have stock due before christmas, otherwise I'd have to look for an alternative. They said they don't have a date but they would bump me up the queue.

I pre-ordered mine from Amazon fr (no 3rd party sellers) on 17th of this month... the status is still 'coming soon' and my chanses of getting it until the 24th are getting slim, despite amazon saying they can guarantee a delivery before xmas with fast shipping.. Now it's been 4 days and i haven't received any shipping confirmation email yet .. I've also selected fast shipping!.. Is there a way to contact them? Any detail would be appreciated!!

yes.. I use google translate to help me navigate to their contact us page. There is an option for email in english, use that to send them an email. I did this and they bumped me up the queue and sent me my watch already

I ordered the silver-leather one but judging from our amazon replies we will be getting it early next year
EDIT: silver-silicon band is listed as available in stock on the 28th of December...so definately it's a 1-10 January delivery

Well actually my first choice was amazon de but unfortunately didn't shipped to my country so the second choice was amazon fr.
Zenwatch 3 was top priority to me when being announced earlier September at IFA 2016 as the most beautiful and top design smartwatch released s far to my taste
But if I have to complain for something is that 3-4 days after receiving it amazon fr dropped the price from 249 to 224 for few hours discount offer and send them email that's being unfair for that of being of first one to pre order from earlier November when being list at their web page and to provide me refund the 25 euro differences but hey they refused to do that.
They told me to re order with the new price and return the first purchase but after few minutes receive the email response from them immediately they changed the price back to 249 euro.
So I missed the change to re order to the discount price.
From that prospect I'm not so pleased by Amazon fr policy and attitude.
Well that's said hope to receive yours as soon as possible.

Ordered next day and received in 2 days because of an error from FedEx. Use code "eSurvey2019" for 20$ off. Basically covers the overnight shipping.

Mine was ordered and shipped via Fed Ex 2 day and so far they have royally screwed this up for me. It was supposed to be re-routed as I requested the minute it was scanned into the Fed Ex system. I even got a confirmation email stating this. Then when it didn't show up at the designated holding facility the day it was supposed to be delivered, I got and a "Delivery attempt failed" notification followed by an "exception" notification saying it was being re-routed as per my earlier request- (no Duh Fed-Ex). So this alone wasted a whole day. Then yesterday (Friday) I got an email update from Fed Ex saying it was going to be delivered that day by 2 pm! I thought, finally..... Fast forward to now it still has not been delivered to my Walgreens and is supposedly sitting at a Fed Ex facility somewhere on the outskirts of town. No new updates, since yesterday and nothing from Fed Ex explaining what the F is going on. The Fed Ex online support is worthless to say the least and getting a live person to help is nearly impossible. Especially going into this weekend now. Idiots....... I am never buying from anyone who ships fed ex especially when I have no choice but to sign for the package. UPS is worlds better in my opinion when it comes to priority shipping logistics. At least I can see where they are at in my are via GPS tracking they provide. I f I need to go home and intercept I have that option which is nice.

WOW, that blows. Well Fedex wont officially hold an item, if the shipper(ASUS) requests it. Lucky for me, i have the phone# for my Fedex holding station. If i call as soon as i see its there, they will hold it for pickup. I ordered On a Thursday morning, had it in my hands Friday morning. Phone is killer, except no VOLTE here in the states.

Just got off the phone with Fed Ex-they said oh yeah it was dropped off yesterday at the Walgreens that I specified for the re routing. I said why wasn't I informed of this? I signed up for delivered/exceptions in my Fed Ex account online, I also got a Fed Ex update for every 2 seconds it was on hold from the past 2 days!?? LOL, Fed Ex goes yeah, we have not updated anything online yet......... I said you think???

That's standard shipping practices. The "next day" refers to shipping times only once the carrier receives it, and always only counts business days. You can't expect to order at 10pm on Friday after the warehouse has closed down for the day and receive it Saturday. You'll be lucky to receive it Sunday, but likely Monday, assuming the warehouse fills and ships orders on the weekend and the carrier delivers on Sundays.

I've never had that happen, with the exception of occasional Amazon Prime shipments because I'm not far from a distribution center. For anything running cross country, it's always one day to get the order ready and to the carrier, then one day actual shipping time for next day shipping. They advertise next day shipping, not that you'll get it the next day.

UK Pre-Order Dispatched/Shipping

A few of my mates who have ordered this have already received a message from DPD to say phone will be delivered tomorrow. Oddly, even though I've paid an additional amount for delivery before 10.30am tomorrow, I still haven't received any notification.
What about you guys, anything yet?

Yeah it's soo strange, what they playing at, I've still got nothing from them. Called Samsung and they said they're looking into and will email me back, although, if they send me an email tomorrow saying it's delayed or something has gone wrong, that'll be annoying.

I knew that was a lost cause as soon as they said they would get back to me in 24 hours..... Still nothing on my end btw.

I ordered an Aramid standing cover along with the black Fold 2 and paid for before 10:30am. Only shows shipment 1 of 1 and that it has been dispatched but only the case shows as shipped. Phone still shows pre-order ships by September 14th.
Not sure if both in one or will be 2 shipments. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Sasung doesn't arrive into the DPD network until later so expect an early morning update

Nothing for me too, paid for pre 10:30 arrival for phone and case, only had a confirmation on the case coming this morning

Didn't get nothing in the morning, got this crappy message just now though.
This takes the mick, don't care about a £50 voucher, I care more about a wasted day, took the day off today and I've got work tomorrow. Also, paid for before10:30am today, tomorrow is not before 10:30am on the 15th, anyways, I apologise for my rant.

I'm hoping delivery on 16th otherwise they would just say estimated to be dispatched on the 16th? Time will tell.
I am still working from home, rather than the office, so not an issue for me other than the wait. When it comes to new gadgets I always want delivery yesterday. hehe

Same working from home too, I only took the day off so I can do a few videos for my YouTube channel, that will be impossible tomorrow or anyday I'm working though.
