Got this bad boy over OTA today.
Installed it with no issues.
I haven't gotten the chance to check the new features, but everything seems to be working ok.
Notch shape can be modified to original one on this update, nice move!
Game Turbo seems broken now.
i can't find any new things for fingerprints unlock , also didn't see any difference between 2 type of notch

Yeah, don't feel any difference on fingerprint, but U shaped notch instead of water drop is very noticeable.

ok i see , not very logic to desactivate to have a better sharp screen.
Anyone has the same bug on Game Turbo?
Games don't show up and buttons don't work and are misplaced.

How can you use it?

I'd like to give a BIG Thanks to Thomas Sarlandie for sending me a Pebble to play with! You Rock!
The file is attatched below.
Also, as a final note, don't forget to hit that thanks button
Code:
Changelog:
6/08/2013 - initial release (v0.1)
6/08/2013 - a few changes in the code (v0.1.1)
7/08/2013 - Fixed the header, now in 2 lines (v0.1.2)
[STRIKE]7/08/2013 - Changes in the code, tried to put 'countdown timer' in one line[experimental]. (v0.1.3)[/STRIKE]
8/08/2013 - Aggressive build (Faster), decreased title font side (now 14). (v1.0)
29/08/2013 - Renamed the title to 'Timer' so that it would fit. (v1.1)
15/11/2013 - Now compatible with the new firmware 2.0 (v2.0) :)
Next update - you suggest me.
Installed fine and works well, Thanks! Very useful app for my Pebble. The title at the top just shows "countdown ti...". This needs changing to two lines so it fits on the screen. If anything, maybe the digits could be a bit bigger.

Okay I'll take care of the header. And maybe the font size too. Also, if you could upload some pictures, because i havent seen my own app :3
Thanks for the update. Still not right though. This is what it looks like now.
It looks like the title should fit, but strangely doesn't.

Seems like a bug in the SDK. I decreased the font size (was 18, now 14) should (fingers crossed) work. Now, it has an aggressive build, meaning the app will now become faster and reduce lags if there were any.

Definitely a bug. I'm still seeing "Countdown T..." Why does it do this? Can it be made to wrap to second line?
Other than this the app working good and fast
Thank you for this. Ill check it out.
quick question. The timer works great by the way. Ok for my question; what is the watch face download? It doesn't seam to do anything. Am I missing something? Normally when I install different watch faces, I can switch to them. With this one, it isn't showing up in my list. What am I missing here, other then a brain!!!!

Well, I dont own a Pebble. As far as I can guess, You download the .pbw and Put it on your phone. Then, load it to your pebble using the Pebble App. It will probably ask you to browse to to the pbw file. You could [email protected] for help. He got it running.

This is not a Watch Face. It's a Watch App. You will find installed Watch Apps by pressing the right-middle button and scrolling down.

I get that. The app installed fine and works great. However on the first page you can download the countdown time and also a watch face. What's the face for? Is that what the first build was called, and as they progressed the name got changed? That's what it looks like to me, but if it's something different, I can't figure out what. Since it has a different name, I figured I would ask.
Thanks for the response though, all are welcome and helpful.

No, the first download is a WatchApp. The default name after compiling shows as Watchface and i forgot to change that before uploading. Nothing else. Glad to hear the app works well.

it's a bummer that's bothering me 2 so if anyone knows a solution.
thanks anyways.. by the way, you're on b564 and does the battery get hot even when you're running 1-2 small apps?

hmm will try that... thanks
so now i got my mi8
well have to say im not imprest
1 no face unlock option (only if u change ur location to india)
2 now that i got face unlock to work it good damm dont work wen i have my glasses on bummer
3 there is no procent in batt
4 it seems verry laggy beside op6
5 only 1 color for led
My face unlock works without any location info. It works fine, also with my glasses on. But is not really secure imho, so i just use FP wich is almost instant.
There is a battery percentage but you have to swipe down once. Perhaps Miui 10 allows it to be next to the notch.
I have no lag at all.
Face unlock works fine here, never had to change location for it, works even with sunglasses on and of course in the dark (thanks to IR).
Battery % is available in MIUI 10 without pulling down notifications.
Lag, never seen.
LED-color should have been known if you've seen the big LED-thread.

1 You have a fingerprint sensor, what are you talking about?
3 Yes there is, pull down the status bar.
4 The phone costs 100€ less than the OP6 and offers pretty much same specs.
A SD845 phone can't be laggy, it can eventually be less snappy when compared to a phone which pretty much has EAS built in. Paying 100€ more for a software feature than can possibly be ported is silly unless you have money to throw ( at which point why'd you buy a 450€ phone and not a 600-800€ one )
5 Oh my god, a one-colour notification LED, the horror.

There is NO so called "global ROM" out there for the Mi8 yet...

Are you on some old dev rom from [Firmware] Xiaomi Mi 8 / Mi 8 SE [DIPPER/SIRIUS] [Auto updated weekly!] then, seeing you are on 9.5.1.0. Us others on Chinese roms are on 9.5.9.0. Wich could explain issues with faceunlock and such.
Xiaomi themselves have not released a global version for the Mi8/8SE yet, so it's odd that that thread offers globals.

I guess the seller opened up the box and installed stuff like Google Play for you including a early global update not available to customers. Maybe that's why there are some things not working as expected, like lag or feature issues.

Aye sorry about that. The blur is hiding my IMEI number from in the system info setting screen, but I did a bad job at adding the blur via the YouTube editor! It took overnight for the processing to complete and in all honesty didn't fancy waiting again to rectify it! Won't happen again
Your point about the sim is possible. Mine is a sim tray that's one side for the sim and other for the memory card. It's also possible however that it's a hardware thing that perhaps that side of the tray will only read a sim etc, but as you say likely software dictated...

Just bought a new redmi note 9 2 days ago and so far its a really goodphone...BUT it is reaaally laggy..i mean opening snapchat takes about 10 seconds and other apps too, the camera app is a disaster in terms of loading times..
are you goys experiencing the same issues or have any advice for me??

There's something fishy going on there
I don't have Snapchat installed on mine but the MIUI camera opens fully within a second

Hmmm, I have the 4gb/128gb version - I can see how the extra memory might make a bit of difference, especially given MIUI's bloat, but I wouldn't have expected you to experience such slow performance. I guess we're using the same EU rom. Maybe look at trying to strip out some of the bloatware? Might help a bit?
