Hello, been trying to find the information online. But is this model of the s10 bootloader unlocked? SM-G973U?
Nope
No, unfortunately it's not. If you want to unlock your bootloader you'll want the G973F Exynos model.

It's possible you could be SIM unlocked but the bootloader has not been unlocked on US phones in a long time (T-Mobile S5 I think was the last)

Hello all. The time has come to upgrade my S3 to an S5. My credit is in the toilet due to divorce. I basically have to buy the phone outright. If I buy one unlocked on Amazon for example will it be easier to root? If so, which model should I buy?
Thanks.
Root isn't the problem...
Bootloader unlock is...
So if you choose an international variant...or Canadian variant of the S5...you will have the bootloader unlocked by default which will allow custom recovery and endless mods..
For US based carriers...I believe T-Mobile is the only domestic carrier with an unlocked bootloader...(check before buying)...
Happy hunting....g

I know I am aware of that most of carrier branded (ATT, Verizon, etc.) all come with locked bootloader, what about international version? is it the same?
also which version of Note 5 you would recommend that does not tights to any of phone companies, but work world-wide, including USA?

N920C is the international variant but N920I should also be okay and no, they don't have locked bootloaders.
You can check which variant is best for you by going to this site:

And selecting the device model and your sim provider
Hello ladies and gentlemen.
I am looking to buy the N950FD singapore version of Note 8. Can anyone tell me if all devices of this variant is bootloader unlockable? I did see the twrp for FD and I also did several researches, some say there is no OEM unlock option for this model until 7 days later it will show after activation? There is a method to skip that and retrieve OEM unlock option straight away.
I just want to confirm this, not willing to buy the Snapdragon version because of lacking custom rom support and ability to unlock bootloader...
Thank you for your time.

I don't have the Singapore version, but I do have the N950FD from Dubai which is bootloader unlocked. To my knowledge all other Exynos variants of the Note 8 are also bootloader unlocked. Yes there is a 7 day wait period to toggle OEM Unlock on some Exynos phones, but there is also a workaround for that posted as a sticky. Hope this helps.

No problem. You can read through the oem unlock thread too for more info on the 7 day timer... I think there were specific posts about the singapore model, but probably from before the workaround and fix were discovered.
I have the international S8+ G955F which I have Renovate rom on it. Will the S10+ have a locked bootloader and no ability to root and rom it?
Mine was not a US version and if I pre-order it will be a US version
USA Snapdragons are locked down and cannot be unlocked to date. International Exynos which you had before Have unlockable Bootloaders.
Hi friends, i just ordered an S10E snapdragon from USA, and i want to know if the phone will be locked for my french Simcard ?
Can i unlock the network by flashing an U1 rom with ODIN?
Thx you !
Is it the unlocked version or a carrier version? If carrier, which one?
If it is the unlocked version then it should work with whatever SIM card you put into it.
