This CAN'T be the new galaxy sV
It is too amazing and 'highunbelievable'
...
Yea. And if it will be published, I can't think of the limit with 2.000 dollars
Well, I'm waiting for the new HTC phone. Let us wait for the design previews
But I'm really surprised. It's really cool designed.

Samsung galaxy s5 images not leaked till now.
Even if this was real (which I highly doubt it is), it looks like a crappy iPod lol. No thanks. U-g-l-y
"Thanks to GalaxyS5info they have put together a fantastic photo gallery of what they would like the Samsung Galaxy S5 to look like"
That sums it up folks
Samsung Galaxy S5 metal cover & more
The potential expressed by a device such as the Galaxy s5 is really huge, and Apple is likely to remain technologically backward.
I think it is a fake message
If Samsung makes the S5 aluminum, I think to buy it.

it looks awesome! i would really love the aluminium design.
I'm really looking forward to see "revolutionary" design on galaxy series but it seems unlikely
Aluminum body + hardplastic = awesomeness

Yeah...great! That shouldn't confuse TOO many users as to whether they are in the right device forum or not!
Literally on my way to purchase a LTE Galaxy Tab S2 but don't know if I should get the Verizon or Tmobile version. I want the Verizon one but if it can't be rooted without losing LTE, then I will settle for the Tmobile version.
Anyone wants to chime in? I did a quick search but didn't find a clear, straightforward answer.
TIA!

Damn, I don't know it. I ordered it in-store and it should be delivered eitehr tomorrow or Tuesday. I guess I will keep my fingers crossed that I get a model that is rootable.
Seeing that the Tab S2 for Verizon is not rootable because of the locked bootloader, I have decided to return it and ordered the Asus Zenpad Z10 instead.
I see that the Asus Zenpad Z8 has already been rooted, so i expect the Z10 will probably be rootable as well.
Now I'm wondering if the Tab S2 was a better buy all things considered, over the Zenpad Z10.

I'm interested in purchasing a Note 8 and would like to know which one is more flash friendly for someone living in the US. I'd like to be able to root and flash custom roms. Is unlocking the bootloader even an option on any Note 8?
I tried searching for a thread on this and was unable to find one. Right now I'm using an AT&T mvno and have my eyes on the unlocked refurb Note 8 on Amazon for $699.
Thanks in advance!
You really need to sharpen your searching skills then.

Hey boys, I'm from Sydney and ordered my phone through Telstra
I later find out that Samsung will sell dual sim version through normal shops and single sim with all operators ( vodafone, telstra etc )
now that's my question.
will I be able to use dual sim if I buy a sim tray which allows 2 sim and flashing a firmware from dual sim version or the dual sim version has a different hardware too?
thanks

Yes,I ordered the purple 8/512 about 24hrs ago, from T-MoUS,expecting delivery by this Friday.
There's a lot to like,my favorite improvements include the 8GB RAM & the blockier/less-rounded edges. :good:

Im going to go for the copper version, can get the 128gb now but will wait for the 512gb for another week or so.
Really debating going with an n9600 instead of a exynos version for once just to try the snap out. At least the BL isnt locked on it so i can have root and twrp

A true dual sim device will have *two* IMEIs listed on the box.
My Exynos S9+ does.

Has the same bands as hk s8+ does. No reason it shouldn't work. I was even able to get volte working on it, once I got it rooted.

You should open a thread on it for sure. I know with the S9 and S9+ they just had to flash the Puerto Rico firmware to get signal. I'm definitely trying it when the firmware is released. Maybe the shipping firmware will work out of the box this time though.

It works fine on VZW, except no volte...Once root is established, we should be able to enable it. Unfortunately, there is zero dev support for this device.

Guess I'll be waiting a bit longer need a rooted phone. Thanks for the update.
I am posting a guide on how to add any CSC pack to the dual sim Note 9 N960FD. I went from OXM singtel to XAA Tmobile.
HERE is the guide, I got to 10 post

I've never rooted or even looked into it. I was wondering if someone could help walk me through it. I have the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 SM-F916U.

No root method available that I know about. The Z fold 2 will have very little if any developer support. It costs way too much and will be very few devices in the wild compared to any other phone. Unlike the original Fold all Z Fold 2's are Snapdragon based. With most Samsung phones there is a worldwide Exynos version and North American based Snapdragon version. The Samsung Exynos phones have an unlockable bootloader the Snapdragon Devices do not.
Update:
Apparently the same paid service that can unlock the Note 20 Ultra can unlock the Z Fold 2.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/twrp-for-samsung-galaxy-z-fold2-5g-f916b.4163833/page-3
I does cost money to unlock it. I did not see in that thread if TWRP works with the U or U1 devices.
Good Luck.
I just saw your message thank you
