Hi guys, just purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8 inch (SM-T713). It’s been a while since I had a android tablet so I can’t remember the steps I need to do to root etc. I’ll figure it out. What I am struggling to find is any info on a nice clean stock rom similar to that found on Google’s own android devices. Anyone any ideas? Does any exist?

Heya guys, a friend of mine is selling me his Samsung Galaxy Tab, serial number PT-1000N, which is the Latin American version. Now, I gave a quick view into these forums and it has been hard to find specifications to this particular device. I'd like to know which ROMs I can install and any experiences you'd may had with it or heard about. I already went to Team Overture's web site and saw that this device is not compatible with their ROMs. I won't buy a device I can't mod and install any rom I want as I do with my Samsung Galaxy Ace. Thanks for all the help you guys can provide me.

Hello,
I have a somewhat related question to this forum....it's about the Samsung NX2000 camera. Anybody familiar with it?
I'm wondering if this camera could be hacked/rooted to install android OS?
See my thinking below
Here is the camera:
http://www.samsung.com/us/photography/digital-cameras/EV-NX2000BFWUS-specs
It's some kind of Samsung OS, but not android.
But it is a camera that connects wirelessly to android phones - transferring photos to the phone & the phone wirelessly controlling the camera.
Recently Samsung released the source code for this phone:
http://www.tizenexperts.com/2013/06/samsung-nx300-nx2000-source-code-out-time-hack-camera/
This may be a way for some of you amazingly talented programmers to understand what the camera is built upon.
And of course everybody is familiar with the Samsung Galaxy Camera.
And now, Samsung has announced that there is a newly coming Samsung Galaxy NX camera that natively has android OS on it:
http://crave.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/samsung-galaxy-nx-android-camera-expected-20-june-50011499/
So with all that, I'm guessing the price of the older NX2000 will drop soon because the Galaxy NX will be the hot new thing & I'm wondering if there would be a way to use the Galaxy NX OS on the NX2000?
What do you smart peoples think?
Thanks,
GMP

Hello.
I'm new to Ubuntu Touch. I didn't even know it existed until a few months ago.
I have a Galaxy J7 Sky Pro, Android of course, and I am wondering what it would take for me to wipe it and load Ubuntu Touch onto it?
It is running Android 6.0.1.
I know this is kind of a crazy question probably, but I think it might be a neat project to toy around with.
Thank you!
Hi all, I have been the owner of a Galaxy Note 10.1 since it first appeared in my local store in 2012. However, one of the drawbacks with this tablet is that could not be upgraded beyond versions 4 and 4.1.
I recently noticed my tablet was getting slower so decided maybe an upgrade would help. I found a very instructive video on the web to help guide me through the installation of Lineage OS 16.0. However, after successfully completing the installation I am having an issue with the Kindle app. It has installed but each time I try to run it, at first appears OK but then vanishes. The upgrade has made a marked improvement in speed but I generally only use the tablet for internet browsing and for bedtime reading of Kindle books. I find the Kindle issue very frustrating so if anyone can come up with some ideas that may help it would be very much appreciated. Please bear in mind I am well into my eighties so try not to be too techie ... my brain is beginning to slow down, just like my Galaxy was!
