edit- sorry, i uninstalled busybox magisk module and it started working. never got that issue in any rom.

Currently running the latest Oxygen OS 4.1 on my 3t and I'm really loving OOS, but I miss the camera that comes with LineageOS 14 cause it had the Denoise feature that keeps more details in the image.
Can anyone here create a port of the camera that will work on OOS? I have tried several apk and libs, the camera just starts and closes immediately, really frustrating.
Thanks!
Try the Magisk module in this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3t/themes/magisk-magisk-modules-oneplus-3t-t3548446
Any version of Xposed works on Max 2? I need to use App Settings module
I've been scouring the internet for days since SDK24 and SDK25 is now officially supported.. But can't seem to find one that actually works.
I obviously went to the official thread the first time around, not working. Xpose is installed and all, but it doesn't work. Has that resource hook error. (similar to this thread)
Tried this SolarWarez Xposed, doesn't work either, both Magisk and System. It says the framework is not active.
I'm using MIUI 9 v7.9.21 from xiaomi.eu, deodexed, bootloader unlocked, Magisk 14, TWRP 3.1.1-0

Hi
Try downgrading to Magisk 13.3 or so, then use systemless by SolarWarez.
Here is the SolarWarez SDK 25 systemless xposed that works for me: SDK25 version: https://yadi.sk/d/K3dva3gG3MDHRd
The bad news: App Settings's settings dont work/ dont stick for any Nougat device.
Skyolinhelper is a barebones alternative that does work please google it
Sorry I cant help any further
unfortunately it only works with rom deodex. I put the multirom 7.9.21 and xposed works. some modules work but only partly ... i use xmiui (works in part) and one tap video download
Hello,
I used Xposed framework-[UNOFFICIAL] Xposed v88.1 for MIUI 9 [SDK24/25] by Psy_Man, arm64-sdk25 (Android 7.1).. Works perfectly on Xiaomi Max 2 with MIUI 9, version 7.10.12 EU. I use the following modules:
- Flat Style Indicator bars-works fine
- MIUI 8 tweaks-performs partially, without forced stops ....:good:
I finally managed to flash xposed-v88.2-sdk25-arm64-test4.zip from the official MIUI 9 Github thread.
I'm on latest weekly MIUI 9 xiaomi.eu rom (7.10.19), which is Android 7.1 with Magisk 14.0. Flashed via iscle's TWRP.
Download for test4 (Android 7.1), Android 7.0 would be this one
Got the downloadlink from here: http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=946636&highlight=xposed
I suggest you to read the description in the MI Forum thread. I haven't tested any modules yet, I only know that the framework is active for me and that it disabled SafetyNet.
EDIT:I just tried using PBMC (remap hardware buttons), but my phone just quick reboots (with google boot animation instead of xiaomi) as soon as I try to use a remapped button. Is that because of my Xposed version or is it the normal behaviour of miui devices when using these functions? I also tried it with recource apis disabled, same result.. PBMC is my #1 reason for xposed, maybe someone on a different rom or xposed version can try a basic command chain like next media for me?
I tried many many versions of Xposed now (I'm on .eu-rom with miui 9 and Android 7.1), and while I had no bootloops with most of them, not a single one worked with the only app I'm trying to get to work (PBMC). I read somewhere to try the Xposed Magisk module and I did, but it only told me in the Xposed app that "Xposed is not installed"...
Does someone have the time to test the Xposed app PBMC for me? You only have to set the basic chains which the app offers to you, then save, then turn on music, then turn off the Screen and hold up or down. For me everything I do results in a quick reboot. The developer looked at my logs and said it is a xposed problem.
Hello.
I have OnePlus 3T 128GB. The Resurrection Remix ROM 6.0 - Oreo is installed on your phone. Can you help apk camera who can upload slow and fast video and works with this rom? I tried the original oneplus application here. It uploads video slow. But the camera's flash does not work. I also tried Google Camera MOD. There is no slomo.
Would you please advise the application that will work? Or do I prefer to choose a different ROM? What?
(Excuse my bad English.)
If you have Magisk installed, try to use this module
Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately, I'm using superSU. Does the solution for root superSU exist?
You can extract media_profiles.xml from the Magisk module zip and replace it by yourself in /system/etc, but I suggest you move to Magisk, as it is simply better solution now.
I tried magisk. But the Google camera did not work properly. I went back to Omni ROM.
Send ONEPLUS 3T Omni Oreo
Which version you have tried to use?
I've tried Magisk 16.0 stable. I went back to SuperSU.
Send ONEPLUS 3T Omni Oreo
And the Google Camera?
I'm using Skulshady 3.0 GCam app with front HDR+ fix and everything works on OOS.
I'd say SuperSU is superseded by Magisk, because with supersu you can't even pass SafetyNet, but that's my two cents.
OOS is completely different from Omni ROM. That's why the camera Mod does not work.
Send ONEPLUS 3T Omni Oreo
Some time ago I tested NitrogenOS and GCam worked without problems, you may try it out
I tried nitrogen rom with gcam. Slow recording does not work.
Oneplus camera works slow and fast video recording. But photography using the flash is black. In daylight without flash, the photos from oneplus camera are good.
Is there a light fix for the oneplus camera?
Send ONEPLUS 3T Omni Oreo
If you're using the latest weekly beta updates (either Chinese or Xiaomi.EU), I think you're now enjoying the latest Xiaomi.EU beta rom 8.11.22 with Oreo. I've been using the Camera2API from Magisk modules and google camera here in the forum while using the Nougat MIUI roms but after the last update to Oreo the mentioned module wasn't included in Magisk.
After searching, I found this mod for Camera2API with slow motion in the Magisk forum https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4399533&d=1516885596 which worked as intended.
Also, I tried this Google Camera https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/MGC_6.1.021_Potter_v4F-san1ty-final.apk which worked fine even the night sight mode is fantastic.
hello dear
please the link to the google camera api and the moded apk for the Oreo mui rom
thnx

try Settings -> BSG MOD settings and Green Tint Fix -> TINT FIX -> Switch On Green Tint on Front Camera Fix and restart the app
What twrp you used for oreo? I've used cofface modded twrp for nougat but after oreo update I'm back on stock recovery
I'm an Android and MIUI newb, I really try to get the hang of it, but please, can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong here:
I want to install the apk of GCam and it just doesn't seem to work. I installed the latest version by B-S-G (MGC_6.1.021_Vc_Newlibs) and still the camera doesn't run smoothly and freezes every time I open the app.
I'm running on MIUI 10.1.1.0 stable, my device bootloader is NOT unlocked.
What am I doing wrong?
I'm not certain, but I think you need to root your phone to use Gcam properly.
But one advice: I have custom ROM in Mi 8 which had Gcam (BSG) in it. Not impressed as it is not that stable and as far as I understand, not a single Xiaomi model with Gcam can use slow motion. And I think you also lose optical zoom with it (not 100% sure about that).
I think I'll chance my ui back to miui and just de-bloat all the crap Xiaomi have put in.
I got the same problem with 10.1.1 Global Stable. Gcam is very laggy and freeze
Hm, I don't know....
The only reason I want to use it is Night Sight.
But, on the other hand, I don't want to root the phone and lose all my data.
Hello, same thing here! I'm on MIUI 10.1.1.0 global
Night sight has a VERY laggy viewfinder and pictures is not properly taken (seems to be a normal picture) and takes about 30s
I have Pie Beta 8.12.7 MIUI.EU and the last version, 1d work perfect for me.
Newest GCam Ports only working on latest Betas without problems. For the 10.1.1.0 Release you need to use the Android 8.1 versions of the GCam Port...
See also Thread from BSG.

Thank you, that makes me hopeful.
You just need to read... you need android 9 with night mode in stock camera app. If you have that you can install latest gcams without issue and no need to do additional steps.

Sorry, but what night mode in the stock camera app? There's no such preference on my phone.
