Android Pie was officially released for pixel today. I just wanted an estimate on when Android P custom ROMs will be released.

Is it a custom rom or official miui update.
If custom rom then please can you port stock miui camera app fir custom rom.

I tested it some days ago, it booted but was very very slow and laggish, nearly unusable

Still waiting 60 hour to unlock bootloader

I'm about to try final beta (beta 5) today. I've got System.img and vbmeta.img inside zip. Both to be flashed via fastboot? I've downloaded final beta directly from Google Developers site. It will work right?

Perfect, I think that for the first time it's working well.
I think that developer can do a good job with redmi note 7 and his hardware.

I managed to boot official Q GSI, was really really smooth for what it is, but many things didn't work at all, like Bluetooth, couldn't call anybody, I think even data was not working.
Hopefully someone will fix that.

Just to inform you there is already a PE rom available by bombsquade on Android file host.
I haven't found any xda thread for it.

You Can't have BL unlocked and Fingerprint working! realme needs to fix it first.

Hotspot not working after flashing oxygen OS (moto g5s plus)

From past 3 days I have been trying to install a stable oxygen os on my moto g5s plus. First i installed this:

it was pretty awesome and stable but the only and very important issue was of the hotspot. I coudn't turn it on it shows 'hotspot error' whenever I try to turn it one. Later I tried 2 more oxygen os port which I got from @brsanders one was of 5T in which it used to show the hostpot turned on but was not discoverable and the other one was of 7pro in which the hostpot was working and discoverable but there were other issues of face unlock and many.
I loved the fist rom which had the hostpot error issue , i also asked this quetion on the telegram community group but no one had any solution. I also tried the " hotspot+by+shivv.zip " which didn't worked too. It would be kind of anyone who provide me with the fix or also if there is another working and stable version of oxygen os that would work for me.

PS: As this is my first post I cannot post a link for any of the rom.

I have tried finding him on telegram but no use. But I have been talking with the developer of brazilian gsi and he couldn't fix them all.
Thanks for the concern but is there any way to just flash the hotspot functionality in any rom or if we could change some files in rom and that would turn the hotspot on because my wifi is absolutely working fine.

There are already 2 custom roms: Xiaomi EU rom and an AOSP in Alpha version, if you had to look ...

I was mainly asking for twrp and Xiaomi generally has a large number of roms but this has only two that's why I was asking

This phone is 6 months old.
It has no equivalent.
Twrp android 12 is not yet 100% functional for phones that are 2 years old or older.
Find developers and/or launch a crowdfunder.
Install a GSI rom.

Currently no idea.
development does not happen overnight.
there is no Chinese firmware for this phone so fewer updates and the developer must have this phone which has no equivalent.

There can't be a weekly rom for this device, it's probably an error, maybe mi 11 pro.(mars not vili).

Anyway, just as a FYI... lead developer will release soon the source tree for #vili.
Then ROM development will go wild. We have some good devs who now are working on this.

Install treble info app see if it says that your devices supports it, after that just follow my guide but use your stock fastboot ROM instead of the 11t pro one

I suggest you use a AOSPA recovery to install things and do the job. TWRP is nice, but the TWRP unofficial is in a bootloop bug mess. Check the forums to see recovery install, after that we can just unload the zip to the device for a custom rom just with a computer through ADB sideload means.

I dont unerstand why this phone is not sell in China , why is only for Globla market? one of the better phone not sell in China... thats why we dint have development, xioami eu weekly, only stable , most of developers are from China , Asia.. they dont have this phone so .. no custom Roms..
