GSM status

HI
I use daily with the GSM the forward option to force all cals to be forwarded to an another phone. After forwarding as been activeted (otion under phone menu and services ) I don't have any remember on the TF"D screen to display the status of my GSM.
On my older GSM (not a Pocket) I had an status icon to remember me this status.
Is it a way to display the satus of this function on the main screen ?

Click to collapse
I have those along with status, phone status, SD Card, and Field Test on one of my screens.
Testing, brings up Phone information & Battery information
AnyCut is cool but I want to make something that has all that information in a collective app that i can just click and obtain info. A report would be nice too, like with the network diagnostics tool in BlackBerry OS.
Anyone know if there is a way to bring up a certain contact. I know its possible to make a direct call/sms shortcut. But i would like to be able to open the contact and then select call or sms. I dont like making 2 shortcuts for 1 contact

having used this before and creating a few short cuts. But creating this pic mes short cut is driving me mad. can it be done

Android 2.1 auto reject

There is an option: settings -> call settings -> all calls -> auto reject which allows us to block calls. How does this get accomplished? Does it pickup then hang up?
It works by adding the number to call reject list.
go to contact> open logs> then open the contact who called you>press menu>add to reject list> now onwards these numbers are rejected when they try to call you.
Now I want to know how to unblock these numbers or is there a way to mange these numbers somehow.
To unblock a number, press Menu > Settings > Call settings > All calls > Auto reject > Auto reject list and untick the number you want to unblock. Or you can delete the number from the list by pressing the menu key and selecting delete.

Thanks that works I can see all numbers which i have added to that list.
Auto reject does not stop the text/sms message for the numbers or does it reject?
I am getting lot of spam sms from a bulk web sms service which shows no number, any way to reject the sms?

[Q] How to setup voicemail speed dial (Keypad 1) for Straight Talk?

My International Note have the Keypad 1 for voicemail (it even has an icon on it). However, with the ST SIM card inside, when I press and hold 1, the call connects, said "Good Bye" and hangup. I am assuming it dials the wrong number, given my Note is International version.
How do I change this setup so I can press and hold Keypad 1 for voicemail?
Home => Settings (system settings not phone settings) => Call => Voicemail (bottom option) => Voicemail number

[Q] Downtime, Priority Mode, Sleep Mode with Moto Assist in Lollipop

Hey guys,
I don't own a Motorola device running Lollipop, but I'm curious as to how Moto Assist handles the Priority Mode in Lollipop.
If I'm not mistaken, in KitKat, Assist's 'Sleep Mode' will switch the phone into Silent Mode, depending on the time you've set. Also, you get the option for certain contacts to be able to get to you while the Sleep Mode is on (with the choice of None, Starred Contacts, Everyone in your phone book). I can't remember if there's the option to let Messages from the white-listed contacts to ring during Sleep Mode period, or even an auto-reply for all calls/text rejected during Sleep Mode.
I'm curious… how does Moto Assist handle this Priority Mode/None/All found in Lollipop?
If I'm not mistaken, if you've set Sleep Mode in Assist, it will turn on Priority Mode. Are you limited to the same options, as to how Contacts white-listing are handled (choice of None, Starred and Everyone?). Does Assist offer a more granular control or finer tuning in comparison to the native Interruption settings? Is Assist not a replacement for the native Priority Mode, and it only acts as something that turns on Priority Mode (separate from the native Downtime setting)
Setting up Meeting Mode, will also turn on Priority Mode. Is the Auto-Reply feature still there? Same with the above point on whitelisting contacts/notification types.
Is this conflicting with Android's own/built-in settings in Settings > Sounds and notifications > Interruption. Particularly the type of notifications that are let through (Calls, Messages, Alarms), and which contacts are being let through? (None, Starred Contacts Only, Everyone)
I guess if you can upload screenshots/video how Assist looks in L, that would help answer some of the questions I have!
Thanks!
OK, sleep is the same as no calls (although, I seem to remember it will ring if a favourite calls you more than once in quick succession).
Meeting is none or favourites for auto reply.
Is it conflicting? No. Works fine.
