Oreo has arrived for the chinnese models

Today but with quota limitations
I tried updating with firmware finder but it gives authentication error. Actually it arrived way before today. The date on ff shows 20-10-2017. It's just that the it shows as MHA-AL00 instead of MHA-AL00C00. So anyone got a trick to update to this new firmware.

In firmware finder instead of AL00C00 type MHA-AL00 . U will get the list of updates. See if you can make it work.

To anyone who missed update cause quote is full.
You can search in FF model MHA-330 (not MHA-AL00 in this case)
Huawei is pushing number 103199 via HiCare.
Doesn't know ability of authentication (I have C636 region)
Tried the one u mentioned but still get the authentication error.
Found Oreo for the C567 us model on firmware finder, (MHA-L29 8.0.0.321 (C567)) but can't install it due to it "not being authorized". It's official and not a beta, but since it hasn't been authorized by Huawei, system update won't install the update, any clue on how to get around this without rooting or installing twrp? Or should I just be patient and wait on this update to be authorized and be rolled out to the us mate 9?

How do you know it's not beta?
Because it's already rolled out on the east coast

Because it has already rolled out to the east coast through the official "update device" in settings. I'm still waiting on it to show up for me. (Beta versions of the firmware have "log" at the end of the build number).

I wonder what's up with Huawei and the US...
You never get any updates for C567.
You get official Oreo first (If it now is official), but 8.0.0.321 is the first beta uploaded, with security patch 2017-10-05.
I hope they update it for you immediately.

Noticed a new version of MHA-L29 8.0.0.321 (C636log) 21-11-2017 has been released but I'm unsure what the difference is from the same version/build number released on 20-10-2017? I did a full wipe and flashed the newer 21-11 version but Google security updates are still listed as 5 October.

It is still a log.

Not getting oreo update for my p10 plus

Hello, i've been wondering why i cant get the oreo update on my p10 plus while everybody else is. My most recent update is vky-l29c576b170 .
I'm not getting any new updates and that's frustrating since i know most p10 plus devices should have it already.
Can somebody help with this one?

No you'll have to rebrand your phone first if you want that. This involves unlocking your bootloader, which Huawei doesn't support anymore.

Yes, until Huawei pushes an update for your brand. DC unlocker can unlock your bootloader, but it will cost you about 5 USD.

I did not get a new update for more than a year, phone was stuck on Nougat version. I recently called Huawei support, explained the problem, they asked me IMEI and told me to wait two/three week. Yesterday I got all updates, now on Oreo - 8.0.0.375 version .

Pie update has been rolled out and you'll get it within this week as it is rolled in batches. But if you want to try it right now. Just install the beta version.

it's only available in India through hicare app
I read it's only being rolled out in China. We might see it rolled out global in coming weeks as speculated online.
Global version?
9.1.0.328 version for COR-L29 (Singapore version)
9.1 is available through Hicare app.
Goto hicare app >> update > apply.
then go in settings and update 9.1
I have tried above steps just now and i am downloading it.
this is only for INDIA, also please note only 2000 devices are allowed to update, next batch of 2000 might available in next week.
Hurry up guys and update.

Perhaps, it's not the stable version( if there is a batch of 2000 available ).
Ram management issue still prevails in this updated version. Highly disappointed.

It is stated that there is only 2000 available batch. That seems to be meant for few people. In other words only few people are using Android 9.1 on Honor Play. Are we sure it is really not a test build?
Oh, people
You will never get test build via ota. When there's ota it's always final. And it always hits small batches of people at first and after some time its for everyone

You are correct. I received the update recently without any of the issues pointed out by others here.
Make sure to go into Hicare and update, then accept that then you can update
Just checking for update doesn't work
I can confirm that checking with HiCare works.
I have just updated my device to 9.1 in Poland. Guys go check HiCare and sign up for update, then it will become available in settings.

Help !!! I not able to update the latest version released on 21st September of ROG 3

Since the new update is of 209 MB and my device is rooted so when I press on on update button it says "system update failed.your device is reverted to its original configurations".
Now please help me how can I update?
I also tried manually to update but it is still saying system update is failed.
Please help
Device Asus ROG 3
Any changes you have made to your device beside rooting? Tencent set?
Its global device not T version.
I unlocked bootloader
Then rooted it by magisk method
No twrp ..
I m bit surprised that in my previous op7t i got update on the same method and I was able to update successfully too
Don't know what is the procedure of Rog Mobiles.
Since it is not a full OTA may be that's why it is not accepting it to update.
Once your device is unlocked it will not update by FOTA. However full manual update will work. Note that full manual update file size is over 2GB, not 200MB. Try asking in asus zentalk.
Yes I know that but it is small update of 209 MB and I am not able to update it by both ways.
I mean neither by automatically nor by manually.
The tried to fix some kind of issues and also added some addons on the update 0.70.
So it is not a full update.

Wait for it to be uploaded on asus website. Those 200mb links that are floating around are unofficial ones and have been warned by Asus at Zentalk not to download it.
