Pixys: PixysOS Pixys Device Sources: PixysOSDevices FAQ:
Before using the ROM: Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build? A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule. Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels? A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them! Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed? A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports. Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install? A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27. Flashing the ROM: Q. What do I need to know before flashing? A. Check the install instructions in the first post... Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other? A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash. Q. How do I dirty flash builds? A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you. Q. How do I flash kernel builds? A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot. A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot. Using the ROM: Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it? A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage. Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug? A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks. Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer? A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go! If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile. It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
- Backup your personal data (Important) - Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device. - Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended). - Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache. - Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile. - Flash the root solution of your choice (optional). - Reboot your device. The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once! The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update) Currently Supported Root Solutions: Magisk stable Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

One more thing, for now, I haven't installed or downloaded you ROM, but I want to ask if the message app has this bug or not:
If you send a message to someone, and you stay in that conversation/thread while waiting for him/her to reply, when you receive the reply, then immediately delete the newly received message, the mesage app will crash.
Sorry for asking it before trying first.

VoLTE works?
What is the update schedule, weekly ?
And 60fps video on YouTube is little bit laggy for me.
Device Redmi 4A Rolex 2gb/32gb variant
Bluetooth and WiFi not working simultaneously.
If bluetooth is active then it will switch off WiFi and WiFi will not reconnect until bluetooth is deactivated

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Flashing the ROM:
Using the ROM:
- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

Blame google.... Not bugs
Great rom! I would love to see it get updates!
Performance 8/10
( I see stutter sometimes and when connect to pc for some reason mobile starts acting weird)
Battery 6/10
(average battery life 2-3hrs sot but one of the best in pie)(usage mainly include browsing, media, calls)
Haven't played any game yet
Network strength issue both with sim and WiFi
Sometimes charging is not working it discharges but unplugging plugging solves this issue
Heating issue is present
Gcam working fine.
UI is very nice and pretty but when I open app drawer sometimes all the icon labels turn white in colour and is pretty annoying.
Otherwise a very stable rom for Android pie. Can be used for normal use but battery is the weakest point (blame pie) and bt calls don't work.
Using rom as it is no custom kernels or rooted
Sorry didn't include logcat I don't know how to get one without ADB(laptop not accessible while writing this post)

Great! Another cusrom. Thanks
Thank you for your work!
I'll ask the usual questions that may interest other users.
1) Is this ROM based on AOSP or something else? (Lineage, Omni, etc.)
2) Does this ROM support signature spoofing?
3) The tricky one... Why this ROM over another one? Nah that's just too mean. But would you say your ROM stands out thanks to a specific feature or something? In any cases, more choices is always better for the end users, so thank you again.

This is very exciting ??
Quick question though........ Are the flashing instructions in the op correct as we have A/B partition and which OOS firmware is required before flashing? Many thanks for you hard work.

I don't think the ROM is optimized for notched devices.
Icons are going behind the notch instead of the default behaviour.

Try notch hide option in developer settings > display cutout
Hi.
Loving this OS so far. The only 2 issues I have is the following:
1. Icons disappearing under the notch. Notch integration is missing it seems. Hiding the notch in developer options works, but the screen gets too small for my liking then
2. When in call with someone, the loudspeaker is turned on. Pressing the loudspeaker icon does not turn it off. I've tried different phone apps, but it doesn't change. I'm thinking that the microphone isn't detected properly. I can probably grab you a logcat if you want.
1.Thank you, dear, for the work you have done and great effort, but incomplete, I have had some problems, as some of the members have shown here. I hope this will be complete.

3.There is no room for future updates to be done, so we are vulnerable to recovery

Using the ROM:
- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Flashing the ROM:

I would recommend PixysOS for clean experience, BootleggersROM has customization but it also has very nice themes and other features to make the UI beautiful. SuperiorOS is one of my and users favorite, it has customization (a bit more than BTLG in my opinion). MSM Xtended has the most heavy customization from the ROMs I maintain and some users really like that. You can choose the one you want depending on your needs but all of my ROMs are pretty good and don't have any serious bugs (only Wifi problem when phone is locked, but that happens in every Pie ROM AFAIK)

Yep
I've been using it since morning and gotta say this ROM is awesome! Fast but no advanced costumization like havoc or dotos but i guess this makes battery longer.
Edit: "tap to wake" is not working even though the setting is on.
