Hi, I want to know how can I safely root my G5s Plus, i have stock 8.1.0 rom and its 32bits but don't know what programs or the procedure to follow to safely root my phone.... I empathize the word SAFELY because I don't want to brick my phone, I come from a Samsung S2 and there where millions of post to do pretty much everything to it but this one I don't know it seems complicated.
I hope you can help me do it.
Regards.

Got the Galaxy Note and runs great...Im just wondering if rooting is something i should take the time to learn and do. . does it really make the phone/experience that much better
I know when i had an iphone I would jailbreak it and would never use a factory set iphone .. is it the same thing with Android?
im sure this question has been asked time and again on this forum, but figured i would ask Note users. .
when rooting is there a chance to "brick" the note or do any permanant damage or is it all reversible? . .
thanks for any input. .

Use this method to root : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329360
easy and fast rooting.
will not increase counter.
Wun brick your phone for rooting. Your phone might only brick when you flash roms or kernels.
But after rooting, you will get CWM, flashing from there will hardly brick your phone.
Read up on backups like Nandroid backups & titanium backups.
Don worry too much. Just root it!
If you have been jailbreaking the iphone, this shouldn't be over your head
I prefer to stay as close to unmodified as I can for as long as I can.
Rooting and flashing ROMs really breathes new life into a device, and the novelty of the galaxy note is still fresh for me.
Congratulations for seeing the light. In regards to the phone switch

face it you will root sooner or later and, to be frank, there is nothing scary it it.

Thanks for the replies. .
I think going to go ahead and root. .that Rocket Rom looks really nice..
Hey guys. please help me. I bought a note 4 the normal one (SM-N910F) and have lollipop on it. I'd like to root it but I don't know if this is possible because it has lollipop. Can anyone give me some advice please. Or would you rather suggest me Rooting it or not since it's new.
If you root your device, you active the knox flag 0x1 and lost your warranty, but with root you can do all things like customize your device with a new rom and some mods, and the best option is delete all bloatware.
Root is admin permission.

Thanks but I did know that. Actually you didn't answer any of my questions lol^^ thanks anyway.

I would always root the phone to get rid of bloatware and improve perfomance, get CPU control etc.
The best way for me to root it is the CWM or TWRP recovery method.
Follow this link to get full instructions with a video and all the needed files:

But i really don't want to downgrade my phone it takes alot of time and effort. I just want the method of pre rooting. It's just that i really don't know what are the basics such as the "Bootloader", SuperSU, how to choose the designated firmware and also the root recovery.
If you know a thread or a link please reply it to me.
D6633? Wrong forum my friend ?
is there a way to root without triping knox? Or is any1 working on it?
Maybe if you wanted a partial root like snapdragon models....but if you want custom recovery then no.
I just want to delete few apps Cuz I like Stock
First time Samsung and I am very happy with that <3
Awww, from my experience. if you partially rooted it and tried to put the phone back to official or non rooted status then it wont boot unless you reset it again so it kind of wont work. honestly though most of these custom roms are pretty good like Renovate N95x for the note 8, best rom from my own experience.
k but I never had so expensive Phone . I am too scared that something might go wrong :/ I'll wait with root a month or more if that. thx 4 help

As of right now, no there is not.
I do not think that there is any easy way to get T-Mobile carrier rooted with high version of android.

This worked (mostly) fine for me, although don't expect to keep your data: https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g6/how-to/root-h872-to-including-11g-t3775518
