Bizarre Behavior when answering calls

I've had this happen to me on both of my 8525 (Schaps WM6-3.60a) and Tilt (HTC Rom) loaded with SPB Pocket Plus 4. Majority of the times when I answer a call, whether if it's using my Jawbone headset or directly from the device, I'll hear a series of notification sounds. Sometimes these are notifications that visual pop up on the screen and have happened in the past. Some are just sound notifications without any visual pop-ups. They only happen when initiating a call (both incoming/outgoing). Sometimes I'll notice that these are notifications of reminders that never appeared on screen, but seem to come up whenever there is a call. Anybody experiencing this?
me but not exactly.
if im using my itech clip II mini it will not answer immidiately, ill hear a weird sound possibly a notification-type sound and sometimes a half second of the caller's voice will be transmitted over speakerphone! The latter part is completely unacceptable!!
Hi there! I have the same problem as number #1. Have not figured out why. - It happens rarely. It does'nt seems to have any connection with which programs I am running, but have'nt given it alot of thought. Will have a look at the device next time it occur.

Disabling Sound Notifications While On A Phone Call

Is it possible with standard adjustments, or is there a need for a special app, to disable the beeping notifications I receive for upcoming calandar events and sound notifications for other then an incoming call while Iam trying to carry on a phone conversation? I find it very distracting and annoying to constantly hear beeps and chimes while Iam trying to carry on a conversation on my TYTN II!!
I do that with phoneAlarm, which lets me turn those chimes into short vibrations
Why don't you look at the Sounds & Notifications configuration located in the Personal folder? You can disable Notifications (reminders/alarms).
I still want to receive reminders/alarms, but not while Iam on a phone conversation and hear those sounds through the phone's ear piece. Is this possible?
stop notification sound while in call
ya me too i liek get this song playing why im on the phone when i get a message wtf haha anyone

[Q] Galaxy Tab automatic silent mode?

Hi guys!
I've been reading and searching this forum for a few days and I can't find anything that is related to the problem I'm having right now with my Galaxy Tab.
As of right now, whenever I receive any phone call on my Tab, it automatically switches to silent mode (crossed speaker icon on notification bar). It drives me crazy as I can't hear the ringtone whenever someone calls me, even though it's not on silent mode at the first place. The weird thing is it automatically switches back to normal mode when the call ended.
I've been missing too many calls because I can't hear it ringing. I already pressed the power button and made sure the phone is not on silent mode, and tried calling the Tab using my home phone, and it switches to silent mode when the call arrives.
Anyone have a solution to this? Please help. I'm on wits end here!
Download audio manager to see what all the different volume levels are set too. Might be something funny going on
I have installed audiomanager and checked that none of the volume levels are zero or set to silent. This is really frustrating.
Is there any way to soft reset the Tab without losing all the installed apps and data?
I have different problem related to silent mode.
When I am in silent mode, all the notification sounds are off but then when I play games, the sound is on. I have to go into setting to set "media voume" to zero manually if i want to play game wihtout sound.
This is kinda inconvient, I suppose silent mode mean silent everything.
It's kind of funny that on a number of the Droid ROM forums people are asking for this as a *feature* to avoid the annoying vibration that incoming messages and other notifications make when on a call.

I have the same problem. All the volume controls are high but ringer don't sound. any idea?
Be sure to check ALL the settings in ALL the settings and apps that pertain to anything that has sound.
This includes all the games, alarm clocks, video recorders, video players, music players, radios, etc. I had a similar problem, and this approach seemed to help.

Block Viber / Messenger / Skype calls

Hi everyone! I'm new to Tasker.
I have just recently switched to Android from iPhone. I'm happy about everything, except for the do not disturb. With iOS, when Do Not Disturb was enabled, no calls or notifications were coming through, and it was super useful. DND on Android, on the other hand, only mutes sounds, which isn't good enough because Viber, Messanger, and Skype still overlay the whole screen when somebody calls you. This gets even more distracting when I run outside listening to audiobooks - they always get paused when there is an incoming call. I never had this problem with iOS.
This is precisely why I turned to Tasker but was only partially successful. After much tinkering, I managed to block these apps using Tasker's firewall. Well, all but Messenger, which I deleted out of frustration because they don't play it fair, so that's no longer an issue. I also blocked the calls by disabling the associated service when DND is on and turning it back on when DND is off.
However, blocking Viber and Skypes network isn't the most elegant way, because sometimes I want to use them even when on DND, but have all the benefits of DND if I no longer need them. This was all working great on iOS.
So as you can tell, I got it figured out to a degree, but still, wish I could get this iOS kind of Do Not Disturb the way I described. At this point, it only comes down to not letting those IM apps overlay my whole screen with their calls when I'm on DND, and consequently, interrupt my audiobook listening when.
Thanks guys!

Incoming Phone Ring to Speaker Group?

I like basically everyone on earth, use my mobile phone as my only contact number. Often my phone is not directly on my person or even at arms length. I am curious on if there is some option that maybe I'm overlooking that will ring the speaker group whenever i receive phone calls. I have a job in which i can get calls off hours and it would be extremely helpful if my speaker group rings rather than just my phone?
Is there an option out there for this action that i could have possibly overlooked?
To me this is a no brainer feature but any insight would be terrific.
