sad that it's a los 16 feature.
I like to know if I activated bluetooth by accident or forgot to turn it off.

By the way I keep BT tile in the first row to be sure I didn't forgot to turn it off.

Yuga get hot even when switched off
If you want to keep device a little cooler without a big performance loss, disable all kernel's touch boosts using kernel adiutor, and slightly under clock CPU to 1350 GHz.
Also set interactive governor and then set target_load as 90.

Nope. Boosts are active and CPU is set at 1512 max freq as usual.
Interactive governor is the default, but target loads are different.

Many thanks and I wish you all the best making official port of Xperia Z for LineageOS. :good:
I'm personally looking a stable, hopefully, official LineageOS version for my great phone. I think current different LineageOS versions for yuga are big mess; there have been two LineageOS version and also RR ja XenonHD versions and I just cannot see the goal for having so many different versions for big, but still limited audience of custom rom users. Above all, LineageOS is best known custom rom and most easier way to go forward for the "land of custom roms".
I hope, if possible(and necessary), that you, Benlue and Chippa-a can contribute together to keep this great device alive.

If you're capable of providing of kernel log, logcat, I will be more than happy to fix issues.
I've fixed almost 34 issues from 48 logs collected over the year. Including ancient F2FS bug.
I just need bigger 'capable' audience, and I will get things done.
Thanks,
thank you for your hard work
I just flashed the build
I'll test it and report it back to you
Thanks from me too for your hard work to keep this great device alive. Time to switch back ( again ) to my Z, will start from scratch with a nice clean flash and report. I could test your kernel before for several days, ( Thanks to @namenlos ) it looks very promising.
Many thanks for your effort indeed.

Both, daedroza and Chippa-a are working on bringing LineageOS on fusion3 devices to a stable state, that can be included in the official weekly builds. If you look at the sources (github.com/fusion3-common) you will see many commits by both of them among others. A lot of them landed in the official Lineage repo or are under review and will soon be included. Don't worry there is a collaboration by lots of people to bring everything to a stable, official weekly compatible state. Almost all of that is public and can be found on review.lineageos.org and github.com. BenLue and others are invited to send in patches too, preferrably to review.lineageos.org.
A little OT and heads up
is there a way to change font in lineage os?0716 build?
great news...at last the Evolving Era has begon......
gl all players...
Folks asking, this is a development thread.
- No custom mods
- No Substratum Support
- Nothing that will create unwanted noise in developing / stabilizing this ROM.
- No Xposed @pjohn23
Thanks, use only if you're willing to test and are ready to go outside your comfort zone at the time being.
Installed the rom and tested for two days, working smooth no issues or lags so far. Tested playing high-end games and camera all good.

thank you so much for your work ^^ we are really appreciated
only 1 question : the rom is a little bit laggy sometimes, is it because the rom is in alpha stage or the phone is too weak to run on Oreo ????
Excieted
OOOh cant wait for the new update
Hey my question may be stupid.
It says that OpenGapps (Use packages for ARM, Android 7.x, Micro or Pico). why is it not Android 8.0?
Failed to install Android 7.x, Micro ! want to install 8 version
android 8.0 Micro gapps installed , why you told us to install 7 version nothing happen with 7 version
where is ¨on go mode¨ ? pocket mode missing ? Not found from where to change lock screen buttons or to remove it ? where is record screen mode ? 1st boot 4-5 minutes 2nd boot 10-12 seconds on the first boot when it searching for updates everything crashing and then when you wait and finish the tutorial everything gets better.
7.1.2 RR yuga is better - not missing these things.

What are you thinking?? Its clear thats not a Stable Version. Its first in Developement. But its very Cool for our Old Z that is Possible to create an Android 8 Rom. I hope the Rom in the Next Time are Stable. Good Luck

I'm just wondering how to gain a root access in this rom ??
I tried the link you gave in the instruction but there is no supersu for Lineage 15
I hope this rom more stable. I waiting to test.. Hehe
Updated build.
Newer sources, fixes most of the application crashes (specifically Files android app).
Nothing special at the moment to test (other than rotation sensors and GPS). Please give it a try.
Thx a lot for your work on this old device.
In contrast to the 19.12.17 build, the new 26.12.17 stops recognizing my sim card.
Switching to the old build brings back the sim card...
Another point i recognized: The power consumption is much higher than the 14.x builds.
Thanks, I will look into this SIM Card issue.
Well, other than open-source drivers (aka DASH), there are no specific changes that affects battery life. I am sure on longer term, DASH will improve battery life (speaking strictly on 14.1 development build that I am testing).
However, I would not comment anything until 15.0 builds get SEPolicies cleaned up first.

New build uploaded (lineage-16.0-20191019-UNOFFICIAL-dogo.zip), major changes since August:
Fast battery drain fixed (for 15.1 nightlies too)
SELinux denials resolved at 99% (You can make builds in enforced SELinux, but I would recommend continuing to build them in permissive). Current build in permissive SELinux.
Oktober security patches
Minor performance and stability improvements (for 15.1 nightlies too)
Added missing props for gps and Miracast.
Build status - Stable.
Addonsu is already included, you can enable root access in the developer settings
This is where my support for android 8-9 for Z/ZL/ZR/Tablet Z ends, this build will be the last. All the changes made in the sources are already available on github.com/LineageOS, if someone wants to continue supporting and get the official LineageOS 16.0 - write to PM, I will explain in detail what remains to be done in the sources. Also, if someone wants to try to build other roms for our devices based on android 8-9 from the available sources - try to choose CAF-based roms (for example, AOKP, LineageOS, Ressurection Remix, AICP, etc.), then with 95% chance you will build and run the rom. Our sources are based on CAF, and for the build of roms based on AOSP, additional fixes are required, plus there will be problems with sound anyway.
I also want to note that I made a most part of the changes made in 16.0 to the official 15.1 nightlies, which should significantly improve their stability and performance
thanks for everything
thank you very much, hopefully someone is able to catch up
hello

Thank you for this. Used it to revive my old ZR.
Hello
Please help with installing the firmware
When installing, I receive an error E3004 or 7
Just want to leave a post to say thanks.
I managed to install LineageOS 16.0-20191019-UNOFFICIAL-dodgo + OpenGapps for Android 9.0 successfully.
====================
For those who may still want to go through the same process:
Here are some tips:
1) Use the tool zadig to install WinUSB driver, which easily replaces as Sony's S1Boot Fastboot driver
See: https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/129174/windows-10-fastboot-driver
2) When flashing TWRP recovery using fastboot command, I had to use the parameter flash:raw instead of flash to make it working:
See: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/65076311/fastboot-error-cannot-get-boot-partition-size
Btw, this device is using the same SoC as ASUS Nexus 7 2013 (Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon S4 Pro).
sorry let me post my problem on this tread thanks
I install crDroidAndroid-9.0-20191020-dogo-v5.9

how to downgrade android version...? Seem like android have prevent roolback
Any way to access this build now? Thanks

Hi @AdrianDC, are you planning to do an Android Go version for this devices? If so then it would be great!

He already did in some way. If you define Android Go as "The Android Go operating system is based on the regular version of Android but it’s optimized to run on smartphones with 512 MB to 1 GB of RAM", adriandc already povided a patch based on it with the Low-RAM Property Patcher, as stated above.
When you follow the link https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/mod-low-ram-property-patcher-android-t3737373 you will find the following statement:
Low-RAM Property Patcher is made to give Android Oreo users an easy control
over the low-ram property from the Go configuration, responsible for the UI changes of Go.
Its purpose is to simply enable or disable the low-ram property from the build.prop,
but also to retain this user decision through the ROM upgrades (new releases, OTA)...

and
Developers should get less requests to compile with or without Go

As adrian mentioned the low-ram patch in this Pie-ROM description, it should work for this release, too, not only for Oreo. (s.Edit)
The solution provided by adriandc with a patch is even better than a whole standalone ROM, because you can switch it on or off and in the end it is up to the user if he wants to use it or not.
The idea behind it is very well done by adriandc.
To answer your question: He already did!
Edit, clarification:
As stated above: "Configure the default Low-RAM features" means, that it is already enable by default. The low-ram-enabler is only needed to reenable it, if you used the disable-patch, as stated in this thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80492509&postcount=15
Flashing android_lowram_enabler is not required, it's a no-op, however android_lowram_disabler will bring back disabled features per user choice.
The android_lowram_enabler tool serves a purpose only to come back from a disabler and for any other devices not using Go low RAM configs.

Where can I find the last update from 2019-10-13?
There is no link or download available.
Hi,
I wanted to give my Xperia T the joy of PIe, but am encountering a few issues:
coming from 8.1 (also AOSP, without Gapps), i did
- install the newest TWRP-image (3.3.1-0, came from 3.3.0-0)
- deleted dalvik, data and cache,
...after that, TWRP couldn't read from ext. SD-card anymore.
booted up the old system, copied the new image and gapps to the internal storage.
- redone the dalvik/data/cache-wipe
- installed AOSP-image, installed Gapps and the low-ram-thingy.
...after reboot, the assistant starts up, lets me connect to my WLAN (i get asked for the sim-pin), then comes the "search for updates"-dialog, where it stucks (got it running for 60 minutes)
...i connected to "my" wlan, passphrase's correct, the XT gets an IP, all as it should be.
redone the whole process with just AOSP (to get the option to upload the lineage-image to the internal storage, as there's still no ext. sd-card available)
Is there a way to skip the update-search? (can't use UMTS, as i'm running a prepaid-card)
(if not: how to get the lineage-image on the phone? can connect the cable and it starts charging the battery, but I need to set it to "transfer files" which isn't possible as the assistant doesn't let me access the info-bar - system is responding when trying to change volume)
Edit: was able to activate the mtp-mode in TWRP, giving lineageOS a shot right now, will update if solved or not
Edit2: was able to install lineageOS (and mindthegapps) and set it up without error...
...is above mentioned issue common? how could i switch to AOSP without re-encountering the setup-problem?

On AOSP of Xperia SP huashan, some users encountered the same issue.
The solution as mentioned in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-sp/orig-development/rom-aosp-pie-xperia-sp-t3958464 by user fsw_informatrix is simply to remove the SIM-card first, and to not connect to wlan during the first setup.
Also make sure to use mindthegapps and not opengapps. Hope this helps.

Well I had the Sim-Card in, but I tried to NOT configure WLAN - it was mandatory (assistant starts, asks for either WLAN or UMTS, there's no way to work around that)
Where's the difference between mindthegapps and opengapps?

Again, please read the thread from above, espacially this post
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80377565&postcount=10
First one was "Stuck on "Checking for updates..", so I found first here : https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS9/co...updates_after/ this reply : "I had to completely disconnect from wifi, took the sim out so it would skip that process. Its finally working fine now." method confirmed in this XDA thread here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/nok...t3767866/page2 in the post #15 : "Try without SIM card inserted. It should work."
Alternatively, in this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/201...dates-t3571496 the method explained in post #4 worked well also :
"On the TWRP Terminal:
echo "ro.setupwizard.mode=DISABLED" >> /system/build.prop
this will skip the first setup!
edit: may need to mount /system"

Mindthegapp and Opengapp is also discussed somewhere in the thead.
I used mindthegapps instead of opengaps and the sign in problem went away :good:
But i have a problem; the phone doesn't stay off after shutdown and turns back on. I have flashed latest TWRP twice via fastboot but the problem is still there. However if i connect the phone to charger right after shut down it will stay off and recharge
I used Nova launcher instead of the built-in UI and the phone runs fine and smooth. Unfortunately Xperia V doesn't support notification access for external apps and I'm looking for a workaround for that too. In general, i like the OS and the user experience is good so I'm going to keep it. Props to the dev
It there future releases plan for AOSP version? Or will not release anymore?
I really appreciate the work done by AdrianDC to keep xperia v alive. I am running this ROM for a week now after using official jelly bean by Sony for years.
Most of the time it works good without problem and I want to keep it for daily usage.
But I encountered some bugs :
1. Shut down function don't work. It actually restarts after 5 or 10 seconds of black screen.
2.some times during some medium to heavy work the screen freezes and the phone restarts itself.
3.some times during some medium to heavy work the CPU temperature goes up to 65 Celsius and the phone shut down.
4.battery usage and charging time increased comparing to last official ROM . an important notice is that I first installed gapps and the battery drain was a disaster and it showed charging takes 22 hours to complete ! But then I flashed and reinstalled ROM with mindtheapps and it is far better and charging takes 2.5 hours to complete.
And with full usage it goes empty after 3 hours. Poor 1700 battery after all.
5.in telegram and wattsapp videos won't play in app. I should use 3rd app to open video via files manager .
Is anyone know what is the build instruction for this AOSP version?

Thank you very much @AdrianDC
I'm glad you support our little Xperia so we can enjoy our mobile
The only issue that seems to me to be very nerve-wracking is "average memory use", which is 95% occupied and works, and after running a program, the phone speed drops sharply.
- Bluetooth stopped at the beginning of the smartphone and did not turn on at all.
Also Launcher does not have a widget and it seems that it can not be added
Hoping to develop this ROM

Thanks !
Concerning RAM, the 841MB of RAM available on our Xperia SP are always going to be an issue,
as of now, I feel the device performs better than 17.1 on a daily usage basis,
the 768MB ZRAM improves the memory stress issue a lot since 17.1,
and I'm still working on trying to reduce things we don't need to improve responsiveness.
For your Bluetooth issue, which nobody else reported yet, could you please send me the logs for debugging (PM) ?
As for Launcher without widgets, that's normal, I'm now using full Android Go configurations,
and the widgets feature is one of the few ones removed from Go to improve RAM / responsiveness,
thus we are now using the Trebuchet Go variant of the Launcher app.
Side-note, there's a Calendar app failure related to the lack of widgets in Go,
I fixed it (along the Messaging and Music apps already done), next build will have it.
I just installed & must say this looks very promising, so far no issues and a much better feeling than with 17.1. Bluetooth seems to work here. I can even use the square again. So my oldest mobile has the newest lineage now, unbelievable. @AdrianDC Thanks again very much and all the best for 2021!
Next build will include the HIDL Lights HAL I worked on for 17.1 but never finished,
this will resolve the lights errors (despite working as it is) and reduce battery usage,
however it'll need some testing on Xperia V and Xperia TX devices (as I test on Xperia T).
Wow, amazing!
Thanks @AdrianDC
The batter drain seems very fast, Xperia TX

Just wow! that you are still working on it!
I have some Vs, a SP and a T. If you have any ROMs to test and need some logs for V or else, feel free to leave a notice. They are not my daliy drivers, so you could even "fry" them.
Overall very promissing on tsubasa and very smooth. "Feels" way better than 17.1 already.
Thanks for maintaining such a ancient device @AdrianDC
Magisk 21.4 + BootBridge seems doesn't work right now?
i can complete the installation but when i reboot to system no magisk was installed
So, this ROM enables low-RAM patch by default and we don't need to apply the low-RAM patch again, right?

Yes, all my LineageOS / AOSP builds since 2017/2018 were built with Android Go configurations,
hence the Low RAM configuration has always been enabled by default,
the patcher is there to disable the flag on these builds and to enable it on other devices.

As you probably saw later on, the NFC feature was resolved in the latest builds.

Looking into it whenever I have time, apparently Magisk v21.2 was killing the device's boot,
and Magisk v21.4 _may_ be flashable but non-effective : https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/issues/3636

but i can't instsll 20.4 while the installing step showing cannot mount /vendor
i guess maybe related to system as root in new lineage18.1's build?
another minor question, i can't add a clock widget in the home screen using default launcher, is it normal ?
before i use nova launcher 5.5.4 but in LOS18 it crash on startup so i try to use default one but having problem

v20.4 will never work, Magisk added support for Android 11 on v21.x.
It will have to be fixed either by Magisk or device side if anything is found.
On Android 11, LineageOS 18.1, I migrated to full Android Go configurations,
which disables some system features to reduce the RAM and CPU fingerprints,
the most visible of these is the widgets, they are disable and the launcher is the Go variant.

Got, found NFC toggler in "Quick Settings". So the toggler item in Settings was removed intendedly?
Someone show screenshots please.
