I'm on March update and recently i have rooted my phone and enabled Camera2 api by editing build.prop. So now i wanna to update my phone to April update. i have flashed the stock boot image and every time i try to install the update OTA it gives me an error Installation problem. I do not know what the problem is, if anyone know please give me a hand. thanks in advance.
UPDATE: I have flashed 10.0.2 and then i update to April update OTA and enabled camera2 api with that method https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2/how-to/how-to-enabling-cam2-gcam-android-t3868766
Your build.prop file is changed, so the phone won't update until you bring the original build.prop file.

I updated from February to March ota with gcam enabled with no problem, but when I wanted to update to April ota, same thing happend to me.
Sorry, but I don't know how to help :/ I am using MIUI since January.
I had no problems updating from march to april with cam2api enabled. Follow method 1 in the topic.

rollback to b190 and use firmware finder or hisuite to update ,only version with date 2017.03.22 is working.
Looks like HiVoice recognition speed, security patches & some fix for a camera error. Nothing too major.
This update increases HiVoice's voice recognition speed, and integrates Google security patches.
Otpimizations: Increases HiVoice's voice recognition speed. Integrates Google security patches for improved system security.
Fixes: Fixes an issue where error prompts occasionally displayed when Camera was opened while using OK Google.
Then I better wait for OTA. Everytime rollback to B190 to update sound weird to me.

I can update directly to B370 from B362 using dload method. Just download the update.zip package from the updated Huawei Firmware Finder (android version). Choose the one that has FullOTA marking (dated 22-03-2017). Then unzip the UPDATE.APP to the dload folder and do the usual 3 button method.
By the way, everything updated smoothly, including the android security patch level and kernel build version and date. But my version still stuck at B362! For everyone who have updated to B370 from B362, does your version still stuck at B362?
Dload method work from B363 to B370? But why you still stuck at B362?

Can you try to use 5ghz wifi on ur phone.. is it working? Mine after update to b362 it is not working
I am on 362 and havo no problems activating hot spot on 5 Ghz. I am just wondering whether the 370 version has any significant improvements.
Yes it works. The kernel build date and the security patch level is updated to 21 March 2017 and 1 March 2017, respectively. "Ok Emy" also seems to be more responsive, especially when the device is asleep. It's just that the version number displayed at "about phone" still stuck at VIE-L29C636B362.

On B370 and 5GHz tethering works properly in 802.11ac mode. Not sure about 802.11n. Maybe they disabled the 5GHz 802.11n on B362 and beyond?
I managed to update C432 to B370, same thing new security patch and kernel but still displays B360

I used service menu, it turned out I had to do a second install with the update_data_hw.... package instead of the update-package. Now it's B370.
I wish I could install them both at once, don't know the procedure for that if possible.

Thanks, i did it this way too and it worked.
Could You please link files used ? Cause i tried several files and also followed this guide http://www.stechguide.com/download-huawei-p9-plus-nougat-firmware but no luck
Firmware finder offers two large update files for C432B370, I used the one dated March 21st. Apparently in the guide linked above they use the one from April 13th. Can anybody explain the difference between these two?
There are some fixes stated in the changelog for 0413 which aren't mentioned in the changelog for 0321, so possibly in essence it's a patch for 0321 ... I will try to update to it later.

Let me guess your phone updated to 8.0 with latest security patches but never got the 8.1 update? I think they may have stopped pushing it ota for 8.1 because it has some issues (MTP, .... stopped working only charge works).
This link has the zip for sideload but no img for flash. I cant get it to side load myself so maybe you can?

Same issue here. Just opened a trouble ticket today. Curious to see if I get any feedback in the typical 24 -48 hours.
Hi...
I joined the beta program for nokia 7 plus and recieved the developer preview but it had so many bugs that i couldnt cope with so i requested the rollback ota and it rolled me back to oreo april 1 and its stuck there
So i downloaded the ota updates and installed it manually through adb commands
But then i recieved the rollback ota again and rolled me back to april 1 update :crying:
How to fix that
You need to download may June and July and push them Via ADB from this thread.
I'm on July now.

Disable automatic updates in Developer option.. You will see every little that update is available (downgrade to april), but just ignore it until we recieve august update... This bug is reported and noticed

As above just disable auto update and ignore the message when it appears, I still get it twice a day, hopefully they will push another update soon for the August security which should clear it.
Problem is solved...

Keep getting a message saying
Couldn't verify it looks like your ROMs network type is different from that in the recovery package .....
Umm... Maybe you can unlock your bootloader and flash xiaomi.eu?
Just got a notification for update 6 on my VZW Note 9. This should be build 1CSC1 with the March security patch included. I haven't had a chance to update my phone yet.
Also, I sideloaded builds CSAA and the current CSB3 that I'm on now, via stock recovery and SD card and I'm receiving official OTA's from my carrier. I know some were worried they may not receive official OTA's if they sideloaded those builds. I'm just re-confirming what others such as Mr. Orange have said that you will be back on the official OTA train being on the sideloaded CSB3.
Thank you. I am waiting for an update since I sideloaded Pie last month.

Yeah, no problem. Just wanted to get it up asap to let those who still worried about not getting official OTA's anymore because of sideloading, that they will still get official OTA's as long as they're on CSB3. Here's a screenshot of the about screen with the new build running, I didn't update till recently.
The big question is whether or not Substratum/Swift Installer is still working with this update.

Please help if anyone knows an answer to my issue. I have a Verizon note9 I updated from oreo to pie manually through recovery now I am no longer getting ota updates, even if I search for them. I was told that side loading pie would not effect later OTA's . Is there a way to fix it or I somewhere I can download the updates and install through recovery would be ok too. But can't find them anywhere.

Which version of pie are you still on? CSAA? If still on CSAA, you'll have to install the CSB3 pie build. The CSAA to CSB3 zip to put on your SD card and flashed through stock recovery can be found here within the Note 9 threads. Once you're on CSB3, you'll get OTA update notifications for the next couple OTA updates.

I do not have Odin setup and have never used it . Plus do not have access to a computer at this time. Also would just like to flash it off sd card and start getting my ota updates again. I have the file but it keeps aborting not sure what the issue is .my sd card is encrypted do I have to decrypt it before flashing the update?
Alright got the file (cbs3) and flashed from recovery, and then my ota updates started coming in so I am all updated and life is good. Now I'd I could just figure out why a week ago I stop being able to download apps or update installed apps from xda (from here) not sure what happen or why but when I try it starts to go through the motions ana them I get download failed. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have tired all the usual fixes, clear cache and data uninstall and reinstall xda app,no help...
