Just found it too! I cross-flashed through 1.15 using powershell and CMD commands, (seen in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g7-thinq/how-to/cross-flash-oreo-pie-firmwares-lg-g7-g7-t3915303) But is subbed with LG V40 firmware and this DLL! It worked like a charm! Now the only issue is it that it didn't unlock the phone like it does for other LG models. So now I need to figure out how to unlock it haha! Feels good to be able to cross-flash the LG V40 though!

Ive seen your name all over these threads as I looked how to crossflash the V40. With this DLL I finally did it! Only problem is the phone is still network locked when cross-flashed. Any idea how to unlock them?

Probably good to mention USB 3.0 Gave me a "Cannot decide device boot mode. set Unknown Mode" error so I switched to 2.0 and it went through through command prompt.

Well currently no known method for us to sim unlock the V40 other then staying on contract for "x" amount of time and having the carrier themselves give you the unlock code...for AT&T i think you just need to ask them for it and have your receipt for proof of purchase.

Confirming the new DLL + LGUP 1.15 CMD version works to flash V40 V405EBW.

Hopefully someone can give this method a whirl with a Sprint unit + US unlocked KDZ to see if crossflashing works.
Crossflashing does work on the G7 using this method so it just might.
Then we'll just need the commands for LGUP_cmd to flash without wiping and we'll really be in business for ongoing updates.

That's unlikely to be legit. Access to these units is tightly controlled, and resale is forbidden (they actually have "NOT FOR SALE" stamped on the inside)
edit: Nevermind, it's legit. See the third picture? That button is different from yours. That was the menu button in one of the earlier revisions of the phone, so this is likely to be an early unit. It will probably be unlocked, but keep in mind the hardware isn't exactly the same as the retail release (this one will have camera issues, for example, and no gorilla glass).
In any case, ask for the output of "cat /sys/firmware/fuse/secure_boot_key"; If you do get a reply, paste it here (retail units return nothing on that, unlocked units do. But I won't tell you what, since there's the possibility that seller is reading this)
My phone is a developer version. It doesn't accept kdz updates. My phone is bricked and only power up in Upgrade mode.

Our colleague gave us a hope here. He says he has succeeded, so why will not I? Does he even have a model "developer"?
I'm not doubting it, but I notice that I am the one who is harmed by this procedure. In the tutorials teach to do the KDZ flash by in no time is cautioned that does not work on models "developer". I find this very strange. I ask all of you to help put an end to this issue.
And can you give me a kick in the butt if I'm mad at this point of forgetting simple things hahaha

[ROM][ROOT] Tab S 8.4 - SM-T707V(Verizon) Stock Pre-rooted ROM - Tester required.

I built this ROM as a test for those who have locked bootloaders on the Tab S and can't get root.
In my experience Samsung bootloader locked devices will not allow a custom kernel or recovery to be installed. However it is possible that the bootloader will allow a modified rom to be installed.
The rom is bone stock Lollipop 5.0.2 except it is pre-rooted with SuperSU 2.49. It needs to be installed via ODIN. If ODIN allows it to flash then its highly likely it will boot just fine.
If there are any issues that arise then all that is required is to flash the stock firmware, available here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-T707V/
T707VVRS1BOK1_preroot_system.img.tar
If anyone gives this a shot, please report with details.

If it works for the T707v then I'll do the same for the other Bootloader locked devices. It all depends on whether ODIN will flash it or not.
The reason I have used the T707v is because this device at least has the stock firmware available, so it should be relatively safe to try this.

Seems so, would have done it for the att and other Verizon model if it worked. Wouldn't want to test it out on an att model first with no stock firmware available.

Anyway I could do to pick your brains about something.
Am I right in thinking you have a Tab A?

I don't believe Odin allows modified system images to flash on bootloader-locked devices.
I tried on my Verizon S5, it shouldn't work, but let's see anyways

It's just that the S5 and Tab S are so similar in so many ways and were release at the same time on VZW, that I thought they'd have the same locks.

What do you mean you ran it and did nothing at all? It doesn't unlock the bootloader.
Its the stock OS already rooted.
Did it install successfully with ODIN?
What is the state of root when checked with Root validator?

It could be something else causing the bug, which you might be able to disable before setup proceeds.
Try turning off everything else you don't need. Personally I had problems with the following when I was installing MellowMallow - to my knowledge everyone who didn't do this is now running a broken version of mallowmushroom because they accepted the auto-update LG utilities which breaks the ability to check the status of your apps under settings:
"Note: after installation, the phone will try to auto-update its own LG setup and other apps. But the updated LG Setup won't work properly. So turn off the auto update under settings --> about phone --> update center --> turn off the settings for auto update (frequency none)."
Maybe there is a similar service or setting you can disable after doing a factory reset, that will help avoid that bug you mention?

My method should just work fine with a ls991. Issues currently happen for other variants but afaik it would just work for you. After this you can root MM, install custom ROMs (if there were any for your variant), TWRP, ...
No guarantees for anything - as usual
If you wanna test come to IRC on Monday to Friday and i can guide you through.

The nonamemod ROM isn't mine. This is the first version of mine and all the details are all in the first post. You can't use package disabler pro with root..

Sweet! Like I said I havn' t tested so no promises on anything. It will most likely boot but I had problems last time how it would keep rebooting randomly every 30 or so seconds. That's why I changed to att firmware because someone told me it was ufirms fault... carrier problems. Hopefully it is fixed

My device is G935T, but I flashed your package, it has been stuck in the boot first interface, After I tried to flash BP and CP, but still can not open, is not in the flash CraZy_ROM before flash into the official AP in flashfire?

I didn't quite understand that last part. So did it not boot at all? Or did it boot but get stuck at setup?
Update soon. New approach so it shouldn't have a bootloop issue

Can I flash this to my unlocked ATT Note 9, want to change it to the U1 version regardless of what Samsung has coming...
Got the OTA today and the size is 1.6 GB, whereas, the download here is close to 4 GB. Why the difference?
Which security patch does this have?
