Hi, How are you?
I have a moto x 2014 xt1097, and It is stuck in battery symbol boot loop.
I am using its original charger, and cable.
When I try turn it on disconnected from charger, then It shows a battery drained icon.
When I connect it to the charger, it keeps rebooting itself in battery charging icon screen.
I can't boot in fastboot mode, nor recovery mode neither.
Please, may someone help me?
Thanks
Please, May someone hep me?
I could not find a workaround for this issue...

I have that issue sometimes...all i did is only try plug and unplug the charger until it charges properly then wait till like 10% before boot the phone...if this doesnt work for u idk maybe its the battery

I am using the phone original cable/charger.
I tried several times to plug/unplug the phone, no success.
It is kind of stuck in battery icon loop.
Do you have any ideia what could be this problem root cause?
May corrupted system or modem partition causes it?

You do not have that Samsung logo when you try to power on phone? Do factory reset if you can, in recovery.

So you can go to download mode, but can't turn on the phone or go to recovery coz you only get the vibration, which suggest (ofc, lol) the phone won't even properly boot?
Everytime my battery is near zero and the phone shuts itself down and near total death, that's what happens. It just vibrates but nothing happen. IMHO, I don't think that you're facing bootloop or anything.
In your case, you said that you charged it and by the time you wakes up it's a goner. I would recommend trying a new battery for now. Your current one might be dead as in broken or something. Trying a new battery won't hurt.

I have the same problem, but a little different. I've thinked that was battery problem as you, i've bought a new battery, but nothing is changed. I was running JetMod. When my phone has low battery and than shut down i try to recharge it but doesn't work anything! if i try to turn it on it only vibrates (with black screen, nothing happened). The only thing that can i do is go to download mode, but for a few time becouse after 10 sec it shut down, so i think that it has not been charged.. I observe, when it was alive, when i try to charged it, that not many time he started recharging, i don't know why.. i've tried different plugs or with computer but it works only when it wants to..

I had same issue when i changed governor: cable plugged but battery don't charge ( i think )
Going to sleep, wake up and founded phone discharged.( when power up i had black screen and little vibration )
Remove battery, wait, insert battery, plug power cable, and wait if you see the battery logo charging.
Then Boot your phone.
If this not work ask to Samsung assistance

I don't know why, but i think is governor ( i use no frill cpu ), i tried some days ago to replicate the issue, changed governor to pegasusq , after some hours i plugged the power cable, but phone don't charge.( the power icon show me the battery in charge but % don't moving ).
Rolled to ondemand and interactive governer and problem go away.
I had only a good luck finding the solution.
This with cocore kernel 4.4 with 5 i haven't try... but is a very good kernel.
Hello,
I faced a problem about 2 weeks ago till now.
It is When try to charging my HTC ONE, when the battery is about 90%, 90% to 100% gone very fast and the LED shows green. But when unplugged and plugged the charger again, percentage of battery dropped to about 90% - 91% and it charged fast to 100% again.
When I let its remain on green status and plugged, after about 10 minute, my device charged fully (I tested it again: first unplugged the charger then re-plugged. Battery status dropped to 99% and after 30 sec it shows fully charged)
What is the exact problem?
Thanks
You could try to calibrate it with app from play store. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ignisoft.battery.calibration

Are you using a pc suite manager application like "MOBOROBO" ? If yes, try uninstall, reboot, download latest version and re-install it.
Also you can try do it on HTC driver.

So I think you should go to check the device by HTC CARE Center
I wiped my cashe partition and after that I see the 99% till 96% again for example.
Also slightly lower discharing.
Instructions for the international unbranded version of the HTC One:
If he still has the same inconvenience after trying it several times, we also suggest him to perform a wipe cache partition. This process gets rid of all the temporary, unnecessary and junk data that slows down your phone and eventually causes to freeze or crash. It can also cause malfunction on the devices hardware such as the camera, internal memory or as it is in this situation the symbol described.
To do so please follow the steps bellow:
- Disable fast boot (Settings > Power > Fast Boot)
- Power off the device
- Press and Hold Volume Down while your device is off
- Briefly tap the Power button until Hboot appears (The white screen with three Android characters).
- Tap Volume Down to highlight recovery
- Tap the Power button
- When you see a screen with a red triangle and an exclamation point hold Volume Up
- Tap Power this will bring up the hidden recovery menu
- Tap Volume Down to highlight "Wipe cache Partition"
- Tap power to begin this process
- Once reboot system now appears tap Power.

You must flash doomkernel via fastboot, i did it so you can too. After doomkernel u can enter recovery and flash exitez rom or offline charging fix
i ran the same prob last week... just let it charge overnight... it will on again in 2 hours or soo... trust me.. when u on custom ROM or update rom make sure u put offlinecharging fix after that..
connect your phone to usb and its try to charging and its will try to start and at "SONY" try to go in recovery (i used volume up) and if you in recovery than phone is will charging...wait still its show 20-25% and than disconnect usb and restart phone from recovery..than its start and you can use again usb for charging in phone online mode...
Use rubber band trick...
Apply rubber band to volume up key...and connect Ur charger for 2 hrs..

Most probably a software problem. If it's not holding enough charge it will not boot at some time. By boot loops do yo mean trying to boot and then reboot or not booting at all after some time and just flashing red led? Explain what is the exact behavior of the phone. Flash .207 firmware with flashtool and check if the problem still persist.

this is how the problem goes:
Full charge: 100% working, if i take the phone under charge i can do quiete anything and i got no problems.
-after some hours (charge close 70%): the phone starts act slow, and some apps crash until the phone restart itself. this reboot never work until i put under charge, so this is the boot loop that i was talking about.
So: charge 70%--->restart---->bootloop---->charge reach green light--->work normally
you suggest me an original firmware to flahs ?
Flash the latest stock rom 4.3 AU .207 with flashtool maybe this could solve your problem
