Huawei as the well-known and renowned Chinese brand committed to providing superior smartphones with best quality and exquisite design. Huawei has updated its product line so rapidly to keep pace with the other competitors and the market. Since Huawei P8 released, most consumers are so attracted by this luxurious high-end smartphone, but in order to catch more market share and consumers’ buying capability, especially US smartphone market, Huawei decided to announce Huawei P8 lite as the first choice for those are crazy about Chinese phones.
Design: 5.0 Inch 1280*720 Pixel HD IPS OGS Screen
Huawei P8 Lite has 5inch HD IPS OGS screen with 7.7mm ultra thin unibody plastic frame with its large volume rocker, power button and dual SIM card slots on the right side of this band. It uses OGS technology to make this handset have better screen quality. 5inch screen size is very easy for me to hold in one hand and put in the pocket, let alone in the bags. It has expressed a design concept that provides confort, ease and stability for every moment of my life. The whold body is smooth and sleek. Howver, HD IPS OGS screen offers 1280*720p screen resolution to watch videos or TV plays without any unclear color. And the rounded rectangular shape makes it seem stereo concept without curvature.
I am into the unique and perfect design for Huawei p8 lite.
CPU: Hisilicon Kirin 620 Octa Core 1.2GHz
Huawei P8 lite is powered by Octa core Kirin 620 precessor that support HDR photography, which has better quality than the chipset with Mediatek. As you know, Huawei has continued to use its own Hisilicon Kirin chipest to develop more own technology applied into its smartphones, or other mobile device. Octa core chipset has better and faster speed than quad core and dual core chipset, when i test playing 3D games, i can feel the obvious difference between them. And there is no problem to play 3d games quickly.
Internal Storage: RAM 2GB ROM 16GB
Huawei p8 lite has RAM 2GB, 16GB of storage is onboard, but that’s expandable to up to 32GB through a microSD slot which means you can insert an extra TF card to double its storage. It’s much convenient and practical for me to store more files like movies, e-books, musics, pictures, apps and so on. RAM 2GB also provides me with opening some apps or programs at the same time without any effect to use. Therefore, it’s so lucky that Huawei P8 Lite has RAM 2GB, instead of RAM 1GB.
Camera: 13.0MP Back Camera, 5.0MP Front Camera
This device has support 13MP back camera and 5MP front camera. It’s well-known that dual camera of the smartphone has become the essential factor to effect our buying factor, if a phone has bad cameras, i will decide to give up considering. But it’s a little different with Huawei P8 lite, it has 13MP rear camra snapper, photos are no doubt crisp, but are generally filled with noise without the perfect lighting conditions. You can expect your selfies to turn out in about the same quality, if not worse, with a 5MP shooter up front. In all, dual camera is ultra Snapshot and All-focus.The former allows you to shoot photos with the rear lens while the phone is locked by just double tapping the lower end of the volume rocker. I can take nice pictures to treasure everything in life and work.
Support 4G LTE,EMUI3.1(Android 5.0) GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth, Wifi Direct,
Huawei P8 Lite has supports EMUI3.1 OS based on Android5.0 Lollipop OS, which is the latest and most convenient OS for me to use. Meanwhile, it supports GPS function to locate everywhere, especially about the place where we need to go. Huawei p8 lite also has the special feature for the power of music. The audio speaker on Huawei p8 Lite exceeds the limits of other smartphones thanks to the enlarged integrated sound chamber, multiple audio frequency enhancement technology and HDR noise reduction. Every sound you play is clearer, sharper and more detailed.
Could someone who has the Nokia 8 comment on the quality of the audio recording the OZO system? Especially compared to other modern phones like note 8 HTC U11 LG V30? It's hard to find this kind of comparisons because the phone is not available in many countries...
I like to buy the best photo phone - is P30 Pro for me?
I don't care for nothing like NFC and so on....
HELLO
Do You think P30 Pro is now the best photo making phone?
Is it also the best video making phone? Cause in videos Samsung tand to be the king here
I have Samsung Galaxy S8, will I be happy with:
1) photos of P30 Pro
2) videos of P30 Pro
?
How about the world situation with Huawei Phones?
I don't know anything about it. Shall I be calm and go head buy the phone?
S10+ makes worse pics than P30Pro in my opinion
Ive had this phone for over two weeks. I think the photo quality is good in most conditions. Then again I'm coming from a oneplus 6t. As for video the Sony xperia 1 seems to be the best gathered from reviews. I would say this is the best vetsitile camera. Low light conditions and 10x zoom no other phone can compare. Day to day shot this phone has impressed me. For me personally I bought this phone for battery life and camera and the fact performance is just as good if not better then top flagships
Photo quality is great, but battery life is amazing
I came from a S9+ and honestly... In a overall situation, I think that my old phone took better pics with the GCam app... The sharpness was higher, especially from pics of people.
In video, I also prefer the Samsung. When I try to record a video, the focus is in the most of time searching for a focal point, even if is in it face!
Isn't that P30 PRO is a bad phone, but in overall I prefer the S9+ with GCam.
You can only record videos in 4k 30 FPS which is a bummer. If you want the best video making phone, I'd suggest LG V40 or V50 (V40 has a limit of like 10 minutes in 4k 60FPS, not sure about the V50 though). Otherwise you can wait for the upcoming Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro. Those phones should have 4K60FPS recording.
As for photos, the P30 can definitely take some amazing pics and has a great night mode (although it doesn't work for selfies like Pixel's Night Sight. Just a small thing to note.)

GCam is truly magical, I wish it was possible to port it for Kirin devices.
Im a mate20x owner but i can that all Huawei phones are extremely inconsistencd when it comes to taking photos. I think the main issue is the discrepancy between the viewfinder and the final photos. Most of the the times the picture will have diffferent exposure than the viewfinder and that will introduce tons of issues when taking point and shoot photos.
Also, the skin tones is really bad and seems to target Asian audience, i wish there was a way to edit them like similar to selfies.
Tldr, highly inconsistent software that you cant depend on when taking point and shoot photos.
it's hard to find comparisons between the LG G8 STABILIZED 4k videos vs Iphone vs S10+ vs Gopro 7 etc. , but what from what I used so far, it essentially almost replaces a gimbal. Especially when this feature works for the ultrawide cam as well.
I'm not sure why LG is so silent on this feature, because it's alot better than G7 and before's steadycam videos.
4k 60fps super steady on my V50. Both lenses.

I was expecting to have this feature available with today's update on my Sprint LG G8, but no, just security update again. :\
They advertised it on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7J9TSq1UDhg
Hi Everyone. I am planning to buy one of these devices.
Talking about GT2, saw multiple reviews saying that there is issue with mic quality while recording video in GT2. I also saw a review video, where it sounded muffled. Some are also mentioning about display quality issue. Good thing is Natural colours in Photos, and OIS in 4K recording.
NEO 3 cons, as per my research have been, heating while recording video, and High saturation in photos. Also no OIS in 4K video recording.
Please suggest your opinion. Both are coming at approx same prices in my country.
I would say better to go with GT 2 because of the 3 year update cycle, unless video mic recording is a major concern for u.
Also ther is the Snapdragon in the GT 2. Even if dimensity is said to be better , I think apps are more optimized for Snapdragon due to there market share.
And there are like intel on PC. It's always the safest choice
