Please where to get 47.1.A.16.20 (CE1) - Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact Questions & Answers

I need 47.1.A.16.20 for my XZ1 compact (I am on CE1) and I am desperately lost and cannot find it anywhere.
Can anybody share? I found the FW but it is for Premium with different file name (phone code) and I am not sure I can use this.
Thanks

Have you tried XperiFirm?

EDIT: noticed it was for XZ Premium even though it was posted here on XZ1 Compact forum.
EDIT 2: Did a quick search and the only one I can find is 47.1.A.12.75: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673956719939826799 (not my upload, credit goes to the uploader) so I hope someone has what you're looking for.

No go on xperifirm because it is older FW. I wanted the newest Oreo FW.

@ArdW, you may download "G8441 47.1.A.16.20 Germany" from here.
I have uploaded just the CE1 customization for you here:
G8441_47.1.A.16.20_CE1-CustomizationOnly.zip.
It is from G8441_Customized CE1_1310-7123_47.1.A.16.20_R7B downloaded via xperifirm.
The DE and CE1 customizations share the same main part of the firmware - if you unpack the DE and replace all from CE1 customization zip, you get the requested 47.1.A.16.20 CE1 ready for newflasher.
Hope that helps...
btw, your thread should have been posted in other section - this is Development subforum.

you can download full stock original CE1 here:

[Q] Backup my current firmware

Hi guys, i have already searched on Google and here in the forum and found many guides for saving firmwares but not the real solution to my problem so hope you can help me
I am on stock ics 7.0.A.1.303 on my brand new xperia T and would like to update it to jb soon but before to do that I would like to backup my CURRENT running firmware just in case..
All the guides i found requires to update to the latest firmware available with pc companion or the other sw and then generate the ftf firmware starting from the downloaded files.. the problem is that I want to backup my current firmware not the newer one I will download!
Is that possible? Any chance?
Byte and thanks in advance
Either root, install recovery and make a backup or search for a ftf with your currant firmware version in the all in one thread from the question and answer section
Sent from my LT30p using xda premium
Thanks my friend. I did read your all in one guide: that's simply great there i found all the info i will need for rooting, installing cwm and then be able to install custom roms.. I plan to install CM soon
Btw about the ftf's i saw them also, but i see there are many customizations of the same ftf so to avoid problems I wanted to save my own
The problem is that I'm in Italy + i have a no brand phone and I'm not sure if my ftf is in that list.. maybe my current ftf is the General ics central Europe one?
Bye and thanks again
Yes, you can use that one

Thanks! Just last question: if I well understood reading around here, the firmware ftf's don't include the kernel also, so if after updating to jb I would like to go back to ics i should flash the kernel separately right? If so, can i flash "[Kernel] Stock Kernel taken from Xperia T [LT30p] 7.0.A.1.303 [Vodafone UK]" I found in your guide even if it says vodafone uk? I guess so as it is "just" a kernel but just to be sure.. Thanks again!

That will be fine, but the ftf's do include the stock kernel, so don't worry.

[Q] Keyboard apk

Hi guys im on stock rom and i removed both chineise and japan keyboard but now in internet browser and messeges it fc (ok on playstore)
Has anyone got the apk or have any ideas on how to fix it please
Thaks
What version, what region, what model?
Go to the [FTF] C6902 & C6903 & C6906 & C6943 FTF Mega Collection thread, download the matching FTF and reflash system would be easy and DIY. Or you may be able extract the APK out of there.

FTF please

Hi guys, can someone provide a download link of the new firmware 32.1.A.1.185 for Z3+ dual E6533. Im not able to see any download link on this forum.
Thanks!
use Xperifirm in the Flashtools
Yes, and don't ask the same questions three times!

How flash FTF ?

Hello! I was searching and reading several forums and threads and could not reach any conclusion. Therefore, I decided to create a new thread.
Let me explain: My old device was a Xperia Z2 (D6503) and now decided to renew... and I bought the beautiful Z3 Plus (E6553). The ROM that comes operator brings many junk files... and I want to install a Clean ROM. (Customized RU I have downloaded). But between my readed information, some versions of Flashtool were not compatible with our phone... I and downloaded the latest Flashtool version. But there are new options when flashing the FTF.
Could you please help to know what should I do? I do not want bricked my Z3+ please!
Thanks in advance :C

ftf files

Can anyone provide me with a link for a non branded H8216 .ftf file that isn't a alfafile link? I need to flash a non branded firmware so I can test out the Android P Developer Preview.
Unfortunately Flashtool doesn't support XA2 and XZ2 yet. Use Newflasher for flashing unbranded firmware.

I got the files for Customized UK from XperiFirm from within Flashtool which I flashed using newflasher and then I was able to install the Developer Preview. Turns out that XperiFirm has the Android P Developer Preview files ready to download for most Customized firmwares so I could of saved myself a lot off hassle.
